  1. Are the maps that bad? I've heard quite a few people complaining about them.
  2. I prefer unlocking weapons at a certain level instead of having to buy them with CoDdollars.
  3. Entering and then leaving a game just because you're losing is fun...? The ability to quickly quit and enter another game is. Maybe I shouldn't have said fun, but it certainly helps in terms of how addictive (for lack of better term) the game is. Especially because the game doesn't search on skill, but rather the first connection to a game it can get.
  4. Part of what makes CoD fun and addictive is that you can quickly join and quit out of (without a penalty) games.
  5. Top of the line right there.
  6. I've learned to ignore IGN's lists. They only care about hits and therefor type the most flamebaiting bullshit.
  7. You can set your own warps?
  8. I'd rather have a shitty playerbase than AAs.
  9. Like I said many moons ago: They could've easily done without the singleplayer component.
  10. Them all in general. I'm think I'm gonna stick to Halo 3 if I feel like playing Halo online.
  11. I couldn't care less if we were losing or not, but the way how annoys me to no end. Armor Abilities completely ruin Reach for me.
  12. You're the first person I've seen so far who has said something positive about the campaign.
  13. My 360 overheated. Maybe for the best. Evade is [bleep]ing ruining Team Objective. It's essentially a free escape-death card. Try aiming at someone who's curled up as a ball moving a high speed across the map. God, Reach gets on my nerves so often these days. No wonder I hardly play Matchmaking anymore. I'm done with Reach multiplayer outside of MLG where AAs are dealt with properly.
  14. Seeing a cutscene of a kid being bombed (You only see a big explosion and nothing else) is different than actively killing innocent people as player yourself. It's just a bad effort at trying to add shockvalue. I very much doubt that it will cause as much uproar as the No Russian level in MW2.
  15. It's a cutscene, though. It's not like you shoot/bomb her yourself.
  16. Which the PS3 copied, while Microsoft invented a way for you to pet virtual tigers by wiggling your whole body :twss: The future of gaming!
  17. New, innovative ways to wiggle a controller.
  18. The areas outside the cities were the things that made SA fun.
  19. It shouldn't be as blinding in the first place.
  20. I see you've worked quite a lot on your project since the last time I saw it, Low_C. Coming together nicely.
  21. The moment you have to defend a feature by saying it's realistic you know it's broken.
  22. They were on sale a few weeks ago. Now they're just 800 each. I won my Defiant map pack code via Twitter, though. :) I also won another during a contest and I gave the code to a friend of mine.
  23. B..but the character development! But yeah, it's pretty shitty.
  24. I get 16.61 kills per game in competitive. Also, I too dislike maps that have too much verticality. Seeing as jetpacking is hardly an option with bumper jumper and the fact that the Y-axis sensitivity can't be adjusted. On the other hand a map like Hemorrhage with hardly any height differences makes for a bad map. Valhalla did it a lot better by creating a bigger difference in elevation and thereby creating more cover and thus better movement around the map. So yeah, I dislike Sword Base and Spire, but I also heavily dislike Hemorrhage. Something like Zealot, Countdown and Powerhouse is about right. There's enough elevation, but not too much to make it too overwhelming. On the subject of the DLC map: They are decent, but I get to play them mostly in playlists that don't fit them. I've played 4v4 objective on Condemned and Tempest even though these maps are way too big for such small numbers. 6v6 should be the minimum for Tempest and anything less than 8v8 on Condemned hardly works either. Your best bet is playing the maps in the DLC playlist where it's 6v6 which suits most of the maps. Breakpoint is pretty fun except for the abundance of power weapons (I think there are more of them than actual players. About 17 or 18 if I remember correctly). Highlands is also decent, but the campable bases ruin it for me. Slayer games kind of fix this problem, but in objective games people just camp in their base like there's no tomorrow. Anchor 9 would've been very good if it wasn't for the awful space area. I really hope they drop those kind of gimmicks in Halo 4. The DLC maps are mostly for BTB (or 6v6) and have a fair amount of height differences, but not nearly as much as Spire or Sword Base do, so you shouldn't have to worry about that. I personally think they're worth buying as most of them are better than what Bungie has offered us on release.
