i know 5 Other things i can spend 250k to provide better def than the obby cape..like full rune..so in my opinion its not really a waste if you have some extra cash and feel like spending a little but if you dont then its a waste..so it can be depending on the situation exactly my point

I borrowed my friends full adamant armor and went to spin some flax in barb village. A guy came up saying he could trim my armor. Well, i tried to be smart and said give me something so i know u wont scam. He gave me a unicorn horn and i accepted. He ran away and i followed, then i reported him then he came back and gave me back the armor. then i logged off and started to cry because i thought jagex was going to ban me because he really didnt scam me. =P

I was recently doing some reasearch and comparing some capes. I realized that the obsidian cape is worth around 200k these days and gives +9 to all defence stats, and that the legends cape is worth 675 gp at the legends guild and gives +7 to all defensive stats. My question is, if you're a high level player and have gained entrance to the legends guild, why would you pay 199k more for +2 defence?
