I've seen more out of date things at tip it and zybez, too. For instance the prices at zybez articles are completely outdated. Btw :P instead of arguing with words, why don't you go test it out :P, we can discuss longer for hours about the correct or not correct articles on fan sites but in the end, there's only 1 way to find out.

How is it a bit of a longer run to the bank, when you finish fming your 27 logs you are literally one square away from the banker? Also, if you fm on a skill total world, you won't meet noobs wasting your fire lines. There won't even be people firemaking with you either. On this matter we have a real point to discuss. On the skill world in f2p (as i'm not member), I met a LOT of people who messed up my fire lines. They cared even less about fire lines than in the other worlds. Also, the line you imply only exists of 2 next to each other if I remember correct so if another joins you, you need to look for another line after banking. But prove me wrong and try to fm logs in f2p at the G.E. and check how many logs are burned. I hope for you you do better than I do at G.E. ;-)

That idea can work but isn't as effective as FOG because there are more people firemaking there (I first fm'ed over there and only averaged 1.1k logs per hour), you also get a lot of noobs wasting your fire line and it's a (bit) longer run to the bank. Since the release of the adze and hand cannons, firemaking got a little useful update. It's pretty awesome to fire with dwarf cannons at 99 firemaking to be honest :] Also a free dragon axe (2.5m) is a good reward for firemaking in my opinion

They only degrade while equiped, otherwise it'd be quite insane.

You can't just start a "new house" but you can remove rooms if you right click doors in the building mode.

I didn't *only* link to RS wiki but also to lunagang. http://www.lunagang.nl/skill/cooking/vlees-vis.php (lunagang is an official fan site) at the bottom they compare no gauntlets with gauntlets. Also from the talk page:

I could've told you that before hand :P an invisible firemaking boost is like the most useless addition of Jagex to Runescape in years lol.

I'm 99fm so I know pretty much what I'm talking about ;-) 2 or 3 tinderboxes are completely useless: it's very easy to keep on track with just 1 tinderbox (I was even able to have a chat with friends on msn or on RS). Also, if you like to max out on xp, train at FOG dungeon (and don't forget to report bots as I met ~10 bots over there), I was able to do 1260 logs per hour (in my case they were maple logs so 170k xp per hour) Good luck

Looks like that guide needs to be updated to include rocktail and cavefish. Rocktail and cavefish are unaffected by the gauntlets. This can easily be established by the fact the lvl 76 (to cook) sharks only stop at 94 WITH gauntlets and never without. Given that cavefish and rocktail take 85 and 90 cooking its certain they dont stop burning without gaunts and that gaunts cant affect them as quite clearly the level required to not burn them would still be beyond 99 According to the RS wiki site, rocktails stop burning at 99 with gauntlets. I haven't tried myself as I'm f2p, but I think it's true as Lunagang (an official, not editable Dutch fan site) also got that level. Also cavefish don't burn at 98. It's just tip it guide that's outdated.

I rather think they'll remove the shortcut for the people who haven't finished than adding it for who has finished it.

Do not get your bait from the fish you just fished lol. It will ruin your whole experience rate and you might end up slower than shilo ;-)

I can't find that post? There's no user 'Philip Kolar' and farming timer also doesn't link me to the post, can you give a link :o?

There's confirmed no update until next week ;-) (future updates RSOF section - post by Mod Emilee) "Hi all, Just to let you know, "A Christmas Warble" is the last game update of the year. It shall be available to play and enjoy until the next game update which will be launched in the week commencing the 11th of January. We hope that you all have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year! :D"

Heavy rod fishing is definitely more efficient than Shilo--not only is it faster fishing experience, but you also get strength and agility xp out of it. I did heavy rod all the way to 99 (before rocktails came out) and went from 63-74 agility just off of fishing. Caviar also sells very well if you bank the sturgeon. Price graph Yea I did the same, if I remember right, it was 55k xp per hour (I used granite lobster and mousekeys). Also if you plan on doing that: fishing bait works with the fish too, at my time feathers were still infinite in RS, but now things have changed and it will be a cut in your budget.

If you have the money, get 95 prayer instead of bandos (this is just my opinion). Turmoil is way better than piety and just the same cost of prayer pots :D
-
Lies! I got my raven egg from MTK. Lies, over 200k maple logs from miscelania and more than 30 eggs of every kind of god birds, though no raven.
-
The only people I heard who fish there are 90+. So you might wait a few more levels.

Off topic: do you realize your signature has all stats 1? On topic: Kuradal is way better, you can get your own Onyx thanks to the tzhaar tasks, the living rock tasks are nice and also the dungeon owns.
-
Good fight having 3k posts if you always make spam posts like that. On topic: rune scimitar is the best choice

Tbh, everyone can kill them. All you need is 43 prayer, prayer pots and antifire pots. Meleeing them is your best bet, maging is way too expensive.

Returning to Runescape after about a year break...Anything new?
010jonathan replied to Zeokoz's topic in Help and Advice
I am not doubting you mate. But honestly. I have NEVER EVER EVER EVER seen a JMod in the game.. Not 5 Years ago. Not yesterday. Not today. They organize events / parties where you can go have a chat with them. They also do clan wars sometimes etc. You should check out the Jagex Lite and events official forums and also jagex' twitters. They can't have a jagex mod online in every world ;-) That'd be pointless and costly :o -
Returning to Runescape after about a year break...Anything new?

I still play a little bit, but I'm slowly quitting because it just isn't as fun for me anymore. Anyway, most Castle War worlds are empty. There's like only a few worlds dedicated to it now (if that). A new game called Soul Wars replaced Castle Wars. Poor good ol' Castle Wars. :( So yeah, the game is very different from what it used to be. A lot of people adapted to it, and a lot of people quit. I personally got used to the trade restrictions, but it does suck. There aren't really any bots anymore, though. I'm sorry to tell you, bots have returned. In F2P in every mining guild are bots, while i was getting 99 fm, I met ~10 fm bots (and was just 3 days of FM'ing). Also on the forums people have noticed the return of the bots: http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?74,75,588,60130761 (hunter bots) http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?23,24,443,60144725 (autotyping bots) http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?129,130,573,60144574 (bots killing dragons) http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?133,134,776,60139905 (hunter bots) http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?95,96,949,60086351 (ivy bots) http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?95,96,453,60124459 (too many bots) http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?133,134,329,60134017 (rimmington yew bots) http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?74,75,611,60134436 (bots) http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?83,84,121,60058385 (wants a new kind of mod to detect bots - wouldn't be suggested if there weren't many bots) http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?129,130,736,60128931 (sarcastic rant about bots) http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?18,19,708,59822215 (bots) http://[Use Quick Find Code]/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?50,51,806,59700881 (it's not an RS2 problem alone, also RSC has found new bots) Bots have returned and we lost our trade freedom. In my opinion, we have to blame inflation on this one, high prices makes botting attracting. Before Jagex can fix the botting problem, they have to fix the merching clans (they bot at almost every world at GE autotalking) and inflation by pvp (which cause normal people bot). Oh well, I don't want to change the topic of this thread to botting, but it's a misunderstood issue that botting is out of RS thanks to our trade limit. -
If you post your RSN, i'll ask at the official forums to have your account reviewed (the thread the previous poster was talking about)

Lol, you think they just guessed that's how farming worked? And thanks for the replies guys. I asked because I've noticed a fairly decent increase in the number of toadflax herbs from level 50 - 62. I've done toadflax farming from 60 to 90 (every now and then trees too) and I haven't seen any increase, at all. Also on the forums, someone discovered that message a few months ago and made a thread about it. On that thread people posted how many herbs they were averaging. When all information was gathered (there was information of more than 20k seeds planted at different levels etc), the conclusion was there was only about like 0.5% probability that there was an increase, and IF there was an increase, it'd be about 0.01 herbs per seed per level, or almost not noticeable. I really doubt the increase of your herbs will be that great, or you had a bad strike (which does happen every now and then - my friend has 7 out of 12 seeds diseased yesterday and he's level 95 farming). It's a shame this thread is eaten by the page 51 monster cause it really was useful.
