Sc shields
Has any useful research been done on sc shields? I'm wondering if I should buy one (probably the magic one for possible nexing? bear in mind I don't currently have the cash for a spec) or buy 10 sc pickaxes or something else. Any advice concerning how useful the shields are would be really appreciated.

Average BXP Multipler
Impossible to say with no timeframe that you'll be playing in. For the purpose of calculations it's possible to make 2k potions every hour - but I'd assume that needs mousekeys and the scroll of cleansing. If I was doing the calculations I'd guess: 2k/hr with mousekeys and cleansing 1.5k/hr with neither 1.65k/hr with cleansing 1.8k/hr with mousekeys Just assume 2x perhaps and then work out how many pots you'll need to make. After that, find a more accurate estimate of your exp gains and adjust accordingly.

What to do on BXPW?
I'd say go for 76 mining then 99 fletching seeing as you like it. 76 mining for ROTM - definately something you'll want to do when it comes out!

Comprehensive doesn't mean "possible to comprehend". You should write a few words about your own opinion etc. to start a discussion if you're serious about your previous thread..

06-Sep-11 - New High Level Prayer Potion
I might be wrong, but didn't they dedicate an entire update week to the constitutution change? Guess this is a bit of an improvement  Wonder what this'll do to prices of alternatives, if anyone. Wonder what price they'll be (or stabilise at)...

The Q Word
I've "quit" before, but not in the suddenly stopping. I just gradually reduced my gameplay time until I realised members was pointless. I actually only got back into the game when I was revising for my GCSEs a few years back  There'd have to be a huge update that I strongly disagreed with to make me suddenly quit - e.g. introduction of "cheap" microtransactions where everyone in the game feel obliged to buy gold.

RuneVillage - Removed as gold status because owner is a sex offender
I really hope not :S

RuneVillage - Removed as gold status because owner is a sex offender
Personally believe Jagex were completely correct in their actions - warning users of the fansite about the owner is extremely important. I understand that it may seem unfair that they've publically exposed the owner, but if there's a possibility that younger players have had contact with him and are potentially at risk then it's their duty to warn those players. There'd be greater uproad by far if we'd just found out someone had been abused by the owner and Jagex had never done anything concerning his past. Good on Jagex imo.

BXP weekend
Thanks everyone, I'm just gonna sit tight and leave the offers in. I'm buying the supplies for turmoil before the weekend because they'll fall a bit - obviously I'm not planning on training during the weekend. EDIT: HUGE thankyou to whoever mentioned MTK. I haven't collected for 2 months! :D

BXP weekend
Hi all, I have around 30-40m spent on herbs + secondaries that I've got purely for merching purposes. I go away for 4 days (coming back on monday) tomorrow, so I was wondering if I should sell my herbs tonight/early tomorrow, perhaps leaving them in the ge for the next 4 days or wait until I come back (which assumes they'll rise over the next four days). I'd rather not take any risks, so I'm leaning towards selling them tonight/leaving them in the ge. I have 97m if I pc my bank and I'm looking for around 105m so I can buy turmoil over the next week - don't want to mess up and sell for less than I bought. Thankyou for any help. I realise this is a topic with no definate answer but any advice would be appreciated. Qet

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
FINALLY got my Chaotic Xbow today! :D Now to find something worth my while to do with it :P (It'll be a while before I have the reqs for most nex teams :/ )

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
Blood neck drop which i shamefully picked up. Everyone on the team was under 100 dg, but there was a guy at 99 with 250k to go until 100 who refused to bind it due to a plate+prom2h being a better set of binds >< Probably the most frustrating conversation I've ever had on rs. Quite enjoyed using it for the dungeon though..

Bursting at Ape Atoll
Hi guys, I'm looking into buying some runes for bursting skeleton monkeys on Ape Atoll for the BXPW after I'm done with some ranged and herblore. I was wondering if there's anyone that's tried this before and can give me an estimate of the xp/hour, and if they can be bothered, the gp/xp. I'm not especially bothered about the gp/xp but if you want to give it a guess it'd be appreciated! I want to know if it's really worth it. I'm assuming this is going to be faster exp/more interesting than most other training methods - I find things like hunter kits incredibly boring and not as fast as guides have told me. Basically I'm looking for advice as to how I can train magic as fast as possible. Please don't reccommend bursting rock lobs, it'd be too much hassle to get to and I feel it'd be a bit of a waste of time. Thanks for any replies!

Merching Dead?
It's 1.6%, which is actually not too bad OP may correct me on this, but I believe that he bought 10 items, so the profit would be .16%, as stated. If that's the case my bad! 0.16% on 10 items is awful though :o

Merching Dead?
It's 1.6%, which is actually not too bad I partially agree. At the moment I'm finding it hard to make a decent profit (usually like 2-3m on a 20m initial investment over a day with checking a few times over the day). That's because I usually use items that are newer, which there aren't many of - apart from the whip vine which is just crazily unstable. Merching now is a lot easier than it was when trade was restricted in my opinion.

Conquest!
I did this 4 days ago. What I did is (might be seen as slightly dishonourable) is challenge players who are ranked under 1000. I use a setup of 4 scouts, 2 halberdiers, 1 mage, 2 champions. My four special attacks were Charge, Battle Cry, Chastise, and Vigilance. If the opponent has a large number of magers/rangers, you've got massively lucky. This is where the scouts are extremely useful. Use charge to one-hit their mages/rangers and then with the points you gain from killing that, you can use another special move to avoid your scout dying (if you're lucky with positioning/the units your opponent is using). Opponent who use a large number of the "ordinary" units - Knights, Foot Soldiers, Champions - should be countered using your halberdiers and champions. The ability of the halberdier to avoid a retaliation from an attack due to its range is extremely useful. Using this attack and combining it with "vigilance" is highly effective. Combining "battle cry" with "charge" can K.O. other champions, and then combining that with chastise or vigilance if your opponent has other champions nearby can basically win you the game. Lastly, the mage should be used due to its decent range and ability to counter halberdiers. It's a strong unit and can be very useful. If your opponent ever casts chastise on your unit in order to delay an attack, just skip a go. It confuses your opponent and gives you 25 special move points. Hope that helps. Don't feel this is the only setup that works - there are definately better ones - but take some of my strategies into account for your own playstyle! EDIT: After reading the above post I'd completely agree about counting your opponent's special move points. Another useful strategy is counting their turns since the last battle cry/charge, and planning accordingly.

Rate Dem Jmods
Why aren't people voting for Mod Tytn..? WGS was easily the best quest I've ever done and probably the most fun I've ever had on RS :o

China Using Prisoners To Farm MMOs
I'm genuinely saddened by some of the comments here.. While I agree that there are other things that the global community should be worrying about, it's really upsetting to see people calling torture "hilarious", and then trying to argue that being forced to "play" for 12 hours straight in addition to physical labour isn't torture is worse. This argument will probably be countered with: 1. Me being told is CAPITALS that I haven't read the article 2. That playing WoW is actually really fun, especially in 12 hour periods I mean really, I used to respect Blyaunte (resident lurker), but this has shocked me - I honestly thought her first post was trolling. Slightly more OT: This is horrible to hear about.

Feedback: Bot Threads in General Discussion
It's quite tricky - personally I don't want to see any more graphs telling me how 90% of the rs population is botting. However, I do quite like seeing discussion of how to stop botting and some other bot related stuff. My view is that a stick should be made on the GD but only for the discussion of bot numbers + graphs - not sure how that'd be worded though. Actual thought provoking discussion should be kept onto non-stickied threads. As people have said, noone cares about stickies, so there's no better place to put bot related graphs and numbers (although I do look at the screenshots stickies quite a lot).

Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.
Can someone explain how I get onto teams with this cc? I've been in it for around 1 hour today and noone is really calling floors or anything - is this because I'm doing it wrong or is GMT daytime just not busy? Have all reqs and read the guidelines :) am a bit of a lurker lol. Thanks for any replies
