  1. No, no - by leaders I didn't mean just the position of Clan Leader. I mean't those who are best at what they do and thus lead others. From the best clan leader, and the most talented warlord, to the greatest recruiter down to the most dedicated and active members. lol, how am i a dictator... I'm sure he was talking about me. My in-game name is book, so no worrys, apparently I'm the dictator here.
  2. And you're still....well....generaldesor. haha What's changed? Just kidding though; when have I ever been power hungry!?
  3. [hide]Note: I know this is impossible, as it couldn't work out - but to just think about it is pretty interesting and how it could work out if it happened.[/hide] How could one form the overall Perfect clan? A flawless clan formed by the greatest minds in the clan world, organized and put together by only those who know what they are doing. Okay, this was just an idea I came up with one day. What if someone could get together all the great leaders and founders of Runescape's greatest (past and present) clans and have them all join together in the one common goal of creating a single perfect clan? There would be dozens upon dozens of leaders gathered together in one council to form an organized clan that, after it began (and more people joined) it would become the perfect dominating force in the clan world. Just a thought I came up with and figured I could share it. Would be pretty interesting if someone really could get all the leaders together to do it. Would be amazing. Edit: By leaders I mean the best of every position in a clan.
  4. EXACTLY my point. The MSSWs were so fun and memorable everyone is still talking about them today. I always see references to past MSSWs while I'm browsing through the forums. This topic only adds to the point that those wars were some of the most unforgettable wars ever. Despite some people thinking they were unfair or that too many people forgot it was fun, I think a vast majority of those who participated in the wars remember it as being a very thrilling and memorable event. This is why I think we should have a MSSW5, to bring back that awesomeness. I don't think we were on the same wavelength here. I was talking about why are they still somewhat debating some of the so called "bad" things that happened last year. I'm all for discussing MSSW's awesomeness of last year and the year before; from now until the next decade.
  5. So, I've read these couple of posts and replies about last year and certain things that happened and I'm still wondering....why are they still talking about it; a year later? Somebody's got to move on.
  6. My first and only MSSW I've been to was the 3rd one, where Tip.it won for the first time. Most epic day ever. I remember, the war was like sometime aroud lunch time on a Saturday, and Saturday morning at 4 a.m. there were people (including me) already gathering at the spot of where Tif was to meet before the war. 4am! Yeah... Then the the war was suppose to start so we swarmed in all over wildy and waited for a bit....then I remember when the enemy arrived and we completely engulfed them like a wave of green. Then like just a few days later, Jagex canned wildy and pking. MSSW3 was an awesome way to say goodbye to Wildy. Edit: Here we were waiting at like 4 in the morning...
  7. FoG is purely a game of strategy and this means that when you're being hunted, avoiding your hunter is what you're supposed to do. It kills me when people say that hiding is stupid and waste of time and that standing in the center is smarter. NO. If you know how to hide properly and avoid having your hunter even get close to you - you can get thousands of charges; whereas he'll sit in the middle and get barely over 1,000 (if he's lucky).
  8. Firstly, I must say that these were articles were very well written, for the most part, and the writer's themselves were very good at formatting the material in a good way. Secondly, the content of both articles were, for lack of a better word, boring. The majority of the first article was simply telling readers obvious information that the majority of this community already knows. The subject matter was just as interesting in the first paragraph as it was in the last. Reading the article was like the end of a bad date; you're just laying there dissapointed. Not great material. Now, I must say that this isn't particularly the writer's fault. They did a pretty good job of putting in examples, adding a hint of humor, ect - but overall the very core of the article was boring; and that is hard to work with. So I'm not blaming the writer for a bad article...I'm blaming the subject of it. The second article started out with the author describing his past with RuneScape. Usually hearing about someone's past times on RS can be very entertaining and fun to read, but again, the subject matter was quite dull. He did a good job closing out the article in the end and the final paragraphs really left you feeling like that was a good article....until you go back and read the beginning again. The idea is a great idea (why do we play and such) but the idea along with the other ideas put into the article weren't orchestrated all that well. Again, fantastic writers, but a lousy Time's this week. Wonderfully said.
  9. P2P Strategies Please (if you're willing to give up your secrets) send in your P2P only strategies, tips and tactics to me (unorclan). I'm working to build a good P2P section for each part and me being F2P leaves me in a tight spot. So, if you want, help me out and send in some of your best tips to make this guide even better.
  10. Nope didn't happen, or atleast, my memory of last years says NOPE.
  11. 12/9/09 I've begun to start updating the guide. Nothing big has happened today, just done some spelling and grammar corrections, deleted Edgy Abandonment tactic (should have a replacement tactic in by this weekend), deleted the World as a permanent resource, and much more updates are soon to come. I hope to refine and update all images, shape up all the tactics, add in some suggestions given, and hopefully reorganize so that it's a little easier and user friendly.
  12. Then buying a new tshirt is murder too. It's money you could have used to donate a mosquito net and save a whole family. What? You make absolutely no sense. Everyone talks all about "choice" and "it's your body" and so on. So, using the same argument, I could say "It's his body and his choice to go kill that little girl on the play ground. You have no right to stop him". or "It's her body and her choice to go have that baby killed because she doesn't want to deal with it." No one (in the right mind) thinks that everyone ought to have the choice of whether they want to go murder their neighbor or not. We think that murderer's ought to be stopped. I think women looking to have their babies killed ought to be stopped also. If you don't want to raise it, adopt it out. If it's threatening the mother's life, then why does one death make saving another one right? Abortion to save a mother's life still leaves you with a innocent life being lost.
  13. It is what you make it. Sadly, I think a lot of players are under most of the negative effects of Runescape and yet in complete denial that they are in that position.
  14. I see it quite simply. Abortion is ending something. That something is a babies life. To end an innocent human being's life is murder. Therefore abortion is murder. Murder is wrong. So, abortion is wrong. You take away every murderer's and rapist's choice to do what they do and you throw them in jail. I'm all for taking away a mother's choice of killing her own baby, just like I am all for taking away a murderer's choice to kill his fellow man.
  15. Thanks for the advice everyone. And I'll check out that guild. I'm really looking for money rather than just some place to fish - but I thought fishing was easiest. I guess not. I'm only doing membership for 1 month (just wanted to look at classic) and I figured I ought to make money here while I can. So doing a load of quests really isn't much of an option for me.
  16. All right, thanks for the advice. Though apparently everyone says monkfish makes a lot of money....
  17. Can I get into the guild as I am now? And swan song is a quest?
  18. I'm brand new to P2P, and I would like to go fishing to just get a little cash before my membership runs out. Where is the best place to go fishing for sharks, lobsters, ect? What would you suggest I fish to make some quick cash? Level 71 fishing, No member quests done. Looking for GP not XP. Thanks!
  19. Wow I haven't laughed so hard in all my life after I read that
  20. I'm shocked that mining is rarer than farming....
  21. That makes me feel happy. But I've recently noticed a few guides out there that are probably competing with this Guide's status of being THE FINEST. So I plan to become a lonely hermit for a few days and really update this thing. I spent waaaay to much time writing this guide for it to become outdated (and I realize it already is...). So I'm gonna begin my research tonight and start updating it soon. Since I've been very inactive on Tip.it/Runescape for the past 10-12 months, I've come to realize that my PM box is packed full of people sending me tips and strategys to add to this guide. I'll start there. Happy f.o.g.ing.
  22. When you wake up, get out of bed, realize it's freezing cold, and jump back into bed into that nice warm spot. Expressions. Watching peoples eye and how they express themselves. It's facinating. Beautiful words that make you definitely do not understand but you use them randomly anyways.

Again, to desire death means you are emotionally and mentally unhealthy. If you were mentally wrecked and wanted to commit suicide because, well, (for lack of a better word) you were going insane - wouldn't you want someone to help you through it all and protect you from taking your life until you were mentally stable and able to realize and make rational decisions?
  24. unorclan replied to Abc1230's topic in Off-Topic
Suicide should be prevented at all cost. Why? Do we have a right to death? Human nature, the core instinct of humans is to survive. Keep on keeping on. Continue to live. Suicidal people no longer have this will, simply because they are mentally wrecked. Their emotional and metal health is overriding their instinct to live and thus they desire death. People who are mentally wrecked should be helped, aided, and protected. We should strive to get them back into their healthy state, because to allow someone to commit suicide is like allowing someone to commit a murder. Rather, suicide is self-murder.
  25. Wonderful Edition everyone! =D> Amazing...
