  1. Once again, another example of when NOT to use "lol."
  2. Actually, he was the President of Germany. If you think he can get elected in Germany, convince thousands of German's to slaughter millions and millions of people, build up a military only 15 years after the entire world told him he wasn't allowed to, and take over Europe like he did - do all of those things with with only charisma, not intelligence, then you're a very silly person.
  3. I didn't say you were FOR either, I said your lack-of-knowledge concerning political history makes you buy into Democratic-anti-Bush propaganda. How is it a political agenda? The political agenda is the people being subpoenaed in the first place. This is Bush's way of saying, "Back off," because they are acting ridiculous. The reason you don't understand this is because you don't realize that attorneys are fired like this all the time. There is NO REASON for these people to be subpoenaed in the first place. Why wasn't this a big deal when Bill Clinton fired 92 attorneys? Because it is COMMON PRACTICE. There's no reason for them to be testifying at all, and so Bush is fighting back. It might not be the best PR move, but it certainly isn't an "agenda." If you knew anything about the political process and American history, you'd understand this. But then again, you think the President has veto powers over the Supreme Court so I should expect this. It's the Democrats with the agenda here, but you're too blind with your anti-Bush rage to understand this.
  4. It was released halfway through January. I got banned for harassing a Moderator over PM's - not for harassing users, since you seem interested.
  5. Accurate description ftw. Kthxbye.
  6. I don't *think* you're allowed to say "badass" and "lol" in the same sentence. I know you're not allowed to say it twice.
  7. He didn't say it was intentional kiddo. Just because it happened, and the Brits were doing it, doesn't mean the Brits WANTED to drive them away.
  8. Haha. Taxing people when they have no say in government is "barely" driving them away, is it?
  9. Read the Bible. Particularly the first three chapter of Genesis. You'll notice some pretty big changes that happen after the initial Creation.
  10. That's how we define our morals, but other people go by morals based off of what they're told to be 'universal truths.' And since those universal truths don't exist, everyone is just as right as everybody else! I don't see a problem here.
  11. Everything wrong in the United States that needs fixing and Democrats try to give Bush bad press over 8 attorney's being fired? You're playing right into this ridiculous mess. This isn't a scheme, this is Bush's way of saying, "quit playing games, you're being ridiculous." Anyone who knows anything about political history realizes this is just a ploy by the Democrats to cause Bush more grief through the press. People like you who are clueless about politics play right into their hand.
  12. Gameboy Advance games are still being produced and sold regularly...

    The iPhone

How about doing your research before you post? 1. The iPhone is an ENTIRE screen - Smart Phones currently don't offer that. If you actually read about why it's considered "revolutionary" you would know it's not just a touch screen. The ENTIRE phone is a touch screen. There are no buttons. The buttons change on the screen depending on the application, for starters. As well, the screen is a new patented technology called "multi-touch" which is a "smart" type of touch screen. It's not just a normal touch screen on a smart phone like you try to suggest. 2. Smartphones cost upwards of $350, most of them costing more around $400-600. Combing that technology WITH an iPod that has 4gigs of built in memory (that would be more than $100 to get via an SD card or something for another smart phone) and its not more than a smart phone plus an MP3 player. You're wrong about that. 3. How can you even determine that things do "better jobs than the iPhone" when it hasn't even been introduced but for a day? Take your anti-Apple fanboyism somewhere else. I can't really judge this product because I haven't used it. I think its expensive for regular users. But I like what I've seen so far and I'm sure as not going to try and flaunt its greatness yet, nor am I going to try and ridicule it like you did (well, at least if I did I would have the proper knowledge about it to do so). And indy... I use my phone to send text messages WAY more than I do to call people so I'm not with you on this one. :P

    The iPhone

At that price? Hah. No. Want, sadly, is different from actual ability to purchase :P Yeah at that price it's got no chance for me. Yeah... I want it. Can't afford it. Don't have Cingular. But meh still wants it!

What is this Bluetooth you speak of? It's that you get when you get a cavity or something?

It looks pretty sweet - too bad I don't have Cingular. I'm still waiting for the video of the Keynote address to go up though so I can watch the whole presentation.
  17. Agreed. I read through BlueLancer's posts several times and couldn't understand at all the point that Striker was responding to.
  18. Depends on the thread. I'm personally not interested in favorite colors - or even favorite teams for that matter. But in the past I have read every single post of threads about where people live because I find that very interesting. It's led me to find 2 or 3 different people who live in my city or near me, and I think that's fun. So to answer your question, it depends on if the thread personally interests me. Because those types of threads don't require much thought, I generally don't skip over posts of users I don't know - like I would in other threads.
  19. Actually, it is. Do you not know what a conversation is? Most of those threads actually evolve into more discussions about the places they live - or why they like certain teams, etc. And even if they don't - what's wrong with enjoying reading about where are the posters are from, or the teams they like? If people enjoy it, why does it have to be a deep discussion? People enjoy finding out information about the people they discuss with - so what's wrong with that? You have to remember I have also said "in a reasonable quantity." Of course we wouldn't every thread to be like that, but if people like threads like that - why not have a few?
  20. He also said to expect your responses to be questioned so we could find a universal definition.
  21. Yes Although enjoyable, they often end in spam... Example: I live in USA 'What part' Florida 'What part' so on and so forth... Why is that spam? Spam is something that is meaningless...if people are enjoying a good conversation about things like that - why not? Isn't that the point of the forum? You joined last month, you don't know the point of the forum. Good argument! I applaud you for giving a reasoned response.

  23. Definitely agree with that. Moving onto a slightly different subject... I'd like some opinions on this. A friend of mine and I are organizing a Valentine's Day dance for people who are mentally and physically handicapped. Is this a waste of time where I could be organizing a charity that is more beneficial to those in need? If that is a sadistic attempt to try and incite a sick response from another Forum user, i seriously doubt you're going to be successful Umm...no it's not. My question is simple. By hosting a dance, I'm not contributing anything to improve someone's lifestyle like money or food. It's one night of a really good self-esteem booster. I just want to know if that can be considered charity.
  24. So if people think a thread is fun or interesting, that's irrelevant? If its just a thread about a cartoon, or a thread about what happened in the News Today... Such as '250k won on Deal or No Deal'.... Then i guess it is... Care to name a 'Fun or interesting' thread, which does'nt cover what is in bold? I'm speaking to you specifically saying, "as long as it isn't 'Where do you live' 'Fave Team' or something which contemplates a one or two word answer." If you read above, it was stated that lots of people like those kinds of thread because they are fun and interesting to read. So are they to be discouraged because the posts are oftentimes short and not quite insightful?
