  1. Yeah, but moving stages are fun... they really should have brought back all of the classic stages (I'm looking at you Hyrule)
  2. I think the only high end thing he could get with $300 is the mp3 player, everything else would be low-mid end. (Being a photography buff myself, nice digital cameras do cost a bit closer to $1000 for non-professional than most people would care to like..)
  3. humans can see in 3d with one eye we only see in 2d and computers can easly think in 4d but i think there is no limmet on how many dimensions an array can have in a computer Humans can see in pseudo-3d... not true 3d If we could see 3d with one eye then we could see pseudo-4d (treating it as a spatial dimension) Although I'm really not sure if you were proving or disproving what I said? :? You should word it better next time
  4. the one I got was from the Simon store. As for online transactions you have to put in your info via the simon gift card site (where you can check what it was used for and the amount left, etc). It lasts a year and if you want you can get a new gift card with the amount ermaining so you don't get a $15 fee :P And it has all the stuff needed for a credit card purchase and since 9/10 places accept Visa it's accepted there ;P
  5. http://googlefight.com/index.php?lang=e ... &word2=pie ;)
  6. Much better :D But theres so much stuff online to get :(
  7. Nice, I'm getting another one with $120 on it later so I can get a fill of stuff from thinkgeek :P
  8. They can be used anywhere a Visa card can be used :P
  9. I dont have to hit it exactly, but it'd be nice to use up a chunk of the remainder... It's kind of lame going to a store and saying I'd like to use 2.06 of my gift card and 80 in cash :P EDIT: I guess I might open an account with iTunes and buy 2 songs :P (but suggestions are welcome! (especially geeky stuff))
  10. This isn't exactly a news site you know ;)
  11. Are the handiest thing I've ever seen! I got one for only $20 from relatives and bought a set of THESE... Does anyone have any ideas for the remaining 2.06? (preferably free shipping you know ;) )
  12. Nah, they gotta leave some room for me in there ;)
  13. Odd thought, but maybe we would understand atoms more if we could see in pure 3d? :P

How exactly does that work o.O
  15. I've done them all :D Event 50 is with ganondorf, bowser, and mewtwo right? Use jigglypuff and be very accurate with rest, or try peach and float above them and get items...
  16. Tetraspace >.> That's a pretty informative site... it even has stuff like war in 2 dimensions and etc :D
  17. Those free iPod things actually work you know ;) (The referral ones where you sign up for 2 or 3 services and get a few friends to sign up also) Only thing is you have to have at least one unit of those services, you can't just cancel after the trial :(
  18. that is exactly why he considered time the 4th dimension, because space is time. an item could be measured by inch x inch x inch x second, and instead of getting the volume, or area, you get the amount of space-time it is. Maybe it would have been an easier transition to the 4th dimension if we said 10 inches past the foot or 10 centimeters past the meter (for you odd metricians)

One at a time, you can tell it frustrates my parents :P

Darn, I was hoping for A Christmas Story :D
  21. No, but it should take maybe 5 tries max to get what you want
  22. A tesseract is a 4th dimension object as square and cube are to their respective dimensions
  23. I was always surprised how many cheaters who were banned started a new account and started paying straight away again. I think in an MMORPG, that community ties are so strong, that when a serious player is banned, he doesn't know what to do with himself, so just starts from scratch again. Of course in Runescape, it's a lot easier to get levels and gold when you're a member than when you're not - so the cheaters sign up again. On another subject, I'd far rather that games let you trade ingame items for real life money. Sure, some items should be just available through ingame prowess ('bound' items) - but I think that integrating ingame and real-life economies is a very interesting thing to do. Interesting, but for the people willing to waste money =\ Maybe if there was a $20-50 cap per month it'd make a little more sense, but even then that would probably be a huge advantage unless Sword of Generic Slaying +1 is $20 alone :P
  24. What? Like THE CLIENT? :wall: Client would be second party :P 1st - Made by yourself 2nd - Made by gamemaker 3rd - Made by someone else
  25. 1. Two "spaces" form time because a "space" extends in 3 directions... Therefore there's only one "space" in 3d... So two different "spaces" can only be created by time... 2. Two lines form a plane by the unique plane postulate... you'll learn that in 8th or 9th grade in the U.S... 3. I never said there's only 5 dimensions... And there are an infinte number of dimensions... It's just really hard to think about them... IIRC the current accepted theory limits it to 11 or 12 dimensions (I may be wrong though *shrug*)
