yep, all about me. i dont think i use $10 worth of electricity a month, and they just make me pay because i leave stuff on, they dont make my other siblings pay. so really its just $10 for the extra i use, which definently isnt close to 10 a month. Computers are pretty big power suckers ;)

You wont be saying that when you leave. School is the best years of your life. I love my school. All I do is hang out with everyone, maybe 10% of it is working. The only bad part is the waking up. Most of my teachers are a-holes. I hate when they explain stuff for 50 minutes, then we have 20 minutes to work and then its homework. Just give us the assignment, let us do it. If we dont get it we'll ask. Heh, my sciences teacher will spend 3 days on a simple concept ;) Consider yourself lucky

i have heard that men that keep there laptops on there laps have certain.. umm.. fertility problems.. because it roastst there swimmers :) Yes indeedy, I was reading an article about that in the paper yesterday :P Even with a normal laptop you shouldn't use it on your lap because of the way your legs will retain heat when positioned together :P

What may seem a gimmick to you is a feature to me :D My current keyboard doesn't have that 6 key block with delete and insert ;) However it's harder to find ones like that now :(

I was watching the entertainment at Time Square and it hit me for the first time... Its freaking December/January in New York City - there is no way those people are enjoying themselves in that ridiculously cold weather! And the hours it will take to get out of there in the miserable cold! It made me enjoy being in a warm house. :P (And for those who say it wouldn't be so bad because of the adrenaline rush - I marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade a couple years ago...few adrenaline rushes are bigger than that...and let me tell you how painfully numb I was.) Heh, if you were watching Fox's coverage there was a guy out there in only boxers/swimtrunks I think o.o When they asked if he was cold... "I doubled up on the undies"

Why is there no reason to save energy? no reason for me the save energy, i pay $10 into my familys 30 or 40 dollar a month electric bill, if i conserve ill still be paying 10. thats why i have had my computer on for about 70 of the past 72 hours, and leave my satelite/stereo/dvd on and just turn on the tv when i want to watch something. It's really not much to spend an extra second to turn stuff on later than use up energy (however I have to agree with the computer part, I leave mine on all the time because it takes forever to start back up, only the monitor gets turned off)

We have bathrooms with a few stalls/urinals at my school so it's generally a nono to turn off the lights even though you can :P In the library however theres a bathroom and the light is tied to the ventilation which gets annoying for people in the library when it's on :P Why is there no reason to save energy? When I'm at home it really depends what kind of light is in the room. If there's a low energy flourescent light I keep it on unless its in a room that wont be used more than once an hour, but if it's a regular light I turn it off (not that we have many of those left in my house ^.^ )

The instructions should give you a detailed setup guide ;) I remember for the 5200 FX that I have you had to not let windows do any hardware detection until after you've finished setup

Terley listen Look at the trailer for Prince of Persia on PSP and Xbox and tell me which you would rather play... My DVD player has DVD quality DVD discs with an even BIGGER range of movies... You can probably even get a portable one for $100 now... My PC is the best FPS machine in the world (ok, not mine, but it could be...) Why get an all in one when you can have all of these seperately but much better quality?
