I'm pretty sure it only hold track of actual in-game time when you're playing matches. You can view your total time of even having the game in the tray somewhere in the single player menu, you'll be suprised.

I bought the full game of SC2 on PC? :S I didn't even know Activision were anything to do with it lol? Yeah, theres going to be two more "Expansions" that are going to be priced at full retail. Oh yeah sure, that's pretty normal though. Didn't know Activision were anything to do with it however.
