Are you saying something should be less good then it could be just so it is done pixel by pixel? And did Picasso do everything by the book? Did he become great by following what everyone did before him?

If you have no experience whatsoever, and ask if you need a program, I doubt you can make a good signature image. If you want a good one, buy one. If your, however, serious about going into digital art, getting Adobe photoshop and following a lot of tutorials is a good first step, because that's what most people do. You can download a trial version of Photoshop at http://www.adobe.com . Good photoshop tutorials can be find on many places. I suggest googling a few tutorial sites.

Since when is practise a good guide? Practise is good.. but it's not a guide. And people ALWAYS read over the most IMPORTANT rules in my guide. And then my opinion. Maybe I don't do 'pure pixel' but does it really matter? In the sig from my guide I use it a bit to much perhaps, I usually don't do it that much :?, but isn't the result what matters?

I'm Fox red. And about your sig guthix.. tis a bit empty. And the rocks and the tree look an awfull lot like the one in my tutorial :roll: However, try practising the things I did in my tutorial only with other concepts.. like.. maybe not with rocks and trees.. but in a city. If you practise long enough, your skill will increase and you will develop your own style.

Welcome to my pixel shop! Most of you might not know me, but I'm Fox red from runevillage. I make (semi-)pixel sigs, and I was told they were pretty good. Now let's get to business. I make these sigs for around 600 k a piece (examples can be seen below.) I'll only make 1 or 2 a week, and the one who offers the most will be done first. I don't have many examples, but here are the 'good' ones I made so far: >>>>Now for sell, go here<<<< >>>>Now for sell, go here<<<< The sigs above are over the tip.it limits (exept jabraulter's one) , that's because they were made for people on runevillage. I realise the fox and skull one are pretty empty, but I wanted people who were watching to focus on them, hence the white surroundings. I can, ofcourse, make more complicated and filled backgrounds.

Hm.. My first ever pixel sig didn't suck at all.. according to peeps who rated it.. Meself wasn't to pleased with it though :? Just didn't say it to the others :P

7/10 NIce animation.. but you should add a border, and the enter text is a bit fuzzy. I like the animations, I'm a bit of an animator myself :)

Horrible. No shading.. hard to read.. to fast animation.. very unclear.. no detail.. and the peeps are crammed all the way to the left.. should be more in the middle. 3/10

If you have the animated file in Imageready, safe it in Imageready.. go to File>Save optimized and safe it. If you animated the picture, it will automatically be a .gif file. .gif files can be viewed on the web WITH the animation, you can't view the animation in photoshop though.

I don't like the shield :?.. I think it would be better if he didn't have that shield blocking his body
