  1. What Maras means is that archers usually pull up there string very close to there face. In your current sig, the man pulls the string only a little bit back, and not fully, which would produce quite a weak shot. Try looking at archer techniques (I'm sure you can google something,) and try again.
  2. 2 shades can be enough, but it will still only result in a quite flat way of shading. Especially on metal. You should atleast use white for the shining on the armour. And about the condom remark; the face of the guy has barely any distinct features sticking out; you get the same when you pull a condom over your head (Not that I tried, but I've seen pictures ) To remove that effect, you should have the hair stand out more, even though it's flat. And add more things as the forehead standing out more, and his ear. I'll try do an example later.
  3. I'm practising dithering to now, but two shades is to less.. You should really try using 3. And remember that black and white, which you allready use in the lines and on the background.. can be used for for shading aswell ;) And why does it look like the guy has a condom over his head or something?
  4. A fuzzy bunny with a machinegun throwing bananas at a huge muscular he-man dancing in a kickline who happens to be walking in paradise together with some cheeseburgers, french fries, and milkshakes.
  5. I for one, don't like the shading. Why? It's to flat. Add higher contrast. Other things to note is that the blade of the reaper is level with the grassline/path, making it somewhat harder to notice, and making the picture duller. Tombstone looking like rubber is allready noted... Well, that leaves me with saying that you need to work on your drawing skills, because some things on there look strangely misformed, and the composition is far from great. Good luck on your next one :)
  6. Aye, if you concur, you agree :)
  7. There's not much to add to Jeppoz's reply, so I think your all set smelly ;)
  8. A point in a sig is nice, but it looking nice is important to. Both would be the best though :D
  9. He squints his eyes, making him look kinda silly, and his left hand looks very weird, is it a fist? If so, you need to work on that. Then the background is very dark, and the cape could do with a little more softening on the outlines.
  10. Show you don't always need a lot of skill or super expensive programs to make good, and effective things. And about the 'Bad' comment, read the above and think again.
  11. Bit to busy and fast for my liking, but nicely done. Like your sig aswell :)
  12. The fact that I wasn't completely sure what it was should say enough then.
  13. There's nothing wrong with you making it after my guide, I'm just annoyed that many people see it as a pixel sig when I cleary said that this is not pixel in the guide. I'm not mad at you specifically though.
  14. Ah.. just a note. Could you make it Lordliquid/Fox Red? Fox Red is my real username.. I should get it changed here on Tip it :?
  15. Great.. as usual  Won't bother to tell you about the tiny errors because there.. well.. tiny. Godslayer does have a point, though I wouldn't say it has he did. Just know that the world is huge, and if you go beyond the borders of selling runescape sigs, and experiment with things, we might see your work in the big world later, or in a museum ;)
  16. Nice sig :) Do have a few things to say though; The flamey ball does not give off light on the clothing, and you could use some stronger contrast shading on the mage. The fingers also look a bit weird. Nice job nevertheless. 7/10
  17. He.. Didn't expect any new responses on that :)

Atleast say what was wrong with it and how to improve. I must agree, this was nowhere near pixel (Saw it before it got removed.) Ok.. why wasn't it pixel.. It was blurred for one, and pixel sigs are not blurred because they're made pixel by pixel, without brushes or any tools such as blurring. If you would continue the work with brushes, and add lots of details such as grass, reflections in water and such, you might be able to make a good brushed sig from it ;)
  19. http://fox-red.deviantart.com/ Only one thing on it though >_<
  20. I'll start with the fact that I really think the guy is ugly as hell >_< But that could be because I dislike big hulky, neanderthaler guys with huge underpants. Now, when I looked at it better, it could be that he isn't almost nude, but is wearing some kind of armour, because of the line all around the neck. If that's the case, you should add colour to show this, or a difference in the texture on the armour and the skin (Metal has a lot stronger contrast then skin). Another thing that bothered me was that the guy was very symmetrical making it somewhat boring. If the axe was slightly rotated. And why is the axe not sharp? You should show that with better shading to. Overall the pic is not all that great to me. Poor composition, big hulky guy (:P) and it could do with better shading. I'd rate it 'bout 5/10 for now.
  21. This is cleary taken from my guide on Runevillage, and to be honest, I'm kinda fed up with people thinking it's pixel art (No offense to you) First I didn't pay it much mind, but it kept getting worse. Because of this, I have now taken my guide on Runevillage down and will be making a real pixel guide later on.
  22. Ok, I'll update the frontpage when I get back home.
  23. Ok Jude :) It just looked so good that it looked as a stock ;) Very nice there Froth! And yes, a cartoony style is good. I love the warcraft cartoony style. SO if you can capture that... ;) And.. just a fox is allowed to now. Lot's of people have trouble with making an orc. Though I'd like it if the fox was in a warcraft-artwork style Rolling Eyes Just make it very detailed. And don't forget the symbols  The orc and fox way is still allowed.
  24. Nice Che :) I might even scrath the Orc thing, cause a lot of people have trouble with it...
