Make Debate Club its own board?
Yeah, thanks The Sith for splitting them up. I wasn't too sure if I should split it or not. I was thinking that if Debate Club had to stay intact with the Rants forum, then Debate Club should be the primary forum with Rants as the subforum. The goal of this thread was to seperate the two. The two, in my opinion, are nothing alike, therefore, earn their own place on the front page. That was exactly my point! I agree with them both not being superior to the other, therefore, neither deserves to be the others subforum, but if they could not liberate Debate Club into it's own forum, I thought it would be best served as the main forum rather than the subforum! Thanks again Tripsis for jumping on board another one of my ideas. :) Thanks for your guys's input and support! Devoted

Make Debate Club its own board?
I just thought of another subforum that I believe should be divided. Although we have been talking about merging subforums, I believe that the Debate Forum should be their own forum. The Debate Club is a mature forum where a lot of users discuss important issues. The Debate Club is a forum that is totally different than rants. There is less flaming and less people being immature. There has been a higher traffic in the Debate Club lately, and I think that it deserves it's own spot in the limelight. I know the traffic hasn't been overwhelming, but neither has the rants forum. I think that if anything, the rants forum should be a sub-forum of the Debate Club. The Debate Club just seems more useful and it influences the good parts of Tip.It because it shows that debates can occur without spam or flaming. The rants forum is simply a way for people to blow off steam, not much discussion can flow through that. The Debate Club actually has discussion going on. There usually is no right or wrong in a debate, that's why this forum is so great! Thanks for listening :) Devoted ~Sith: Split to a different topic. Going to try to stay organized. :) Thanks! Thanks Ard for making a sticky in Debate Club about this too! :P

The Complete "Subforum" Suggestion! (Totally Updated!)
Thanks Sith for everything you have done on this idea. I am very happy that the boards may be changed to make it less confusing. At the moment, I am trying to think of more ways to help, so if I think of any more, I will be sure to post on here about it. Thanks again! :) Devoted

Too many quest requirements?
Good one, I'll deffinatly quote that one some time! =D> You just did quote it.  On topic: Because there are requirements for weapons and quests to do to unlock new lands, it gives you more to do in the game. The game would be very boring in my opinion if you did a quest with barely a good reward. To me, the 8k in a skill reward is useless. All the time I spent on that quest, I could have easily gotten the 8k. The good rewards are the ones that unlock something for you. Whether it be a weapon, or even a new part of the map. When I walk into a place that's needs a quest to unlock it, I feel a since of accomplishment. I feel like I deserved to be in this spot that not everyone else can go. Also, by doing quests, it will unlock new places that not many people go. Therefore, the training at that place will go a LOT faster due to less competition. If half the game was just given to me, I would feel ripped off instead of Vice Versa. Half the fun of the game is unlocking the new lands. Also, when you are a new member, there a loads of things for you to do before you have to start doing these quests. If you do all those things first, by the time you are done, most of your skills will just be in place and you will be able to do any quest you desire. That's my two cents. :)

Dark Bow Review and Comparison
Wow, thanks for the comparison info. After getting my hunter levels, I will use the red chins to bump up my range by far. By the time that I have completed all this, I am sure this bow will be VERY affordable due to the quick decrease in value. Then, I will be the master of the firecape.

Black arm gang member needed for hero's quest
There is a sticky for trying to find a Gang member. You can find the link here! http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=516149 By the way, you may want to try Varrock banks. They seem to always have people wanting a member. That's where I got mine from! Thanks! :D Devoted12

Favorites
I don't know too much about cursegaming because I don't play WoW, but I really don't think that this will work on a forum as big as this. The only way that that could be succesful is if you need a certain number of favorites in order for it to be approved. See, the problem I think that will arise if that were to be added to Tip.It is if one person likes that topic, then they will favorite it for quick access later on. That topic may be a hit for that one specific person but for anyone else on the forum, it may be a total bust! How is it that you can seperate the true actual popular topics between the topics that only one person liked! Once again, I have never played Wow, so I don't know the exact way the program works, but it seems to me that this would take more effort than it is worth. If you would like this to become active in Tip.It, then I would have a few suggestions. First, I would make it so a certain of number of people must favorite it for it to pass the first step. The second step I believe that the topic should have a certain post count to pass onto the favorite list. This way, it will be assured that it is a topic the Tip.It community is interested in and not the total opposite. I don't know if this is totally possible, but I think it will eliminate all the false topics and also save the moderators time because they don't have to sort through the favorite's and take out the ones that don't belong there. Thanks! :) Devoted12

The Complete "Subforum" Suggestion! (Totally Updated!)
Merging the General with the P2P General is the exact same as having the Help and Advice forums unseperated in my opinion. There really is not a difference. The Help and Advice forum is a mix of P2P and F2P questions. Just because it is a mix, it sure doesn't discourage F2P or P2P users from using the board. The user reads the title of the topic, and from their decides whether or not to venture into that thread and into the discussion. Like The Sith said if you don't have any interest or input in the topic, there's no harm in hitting the back button and selecting another topic that will suit you better. Since the Help and Advice forums work merged, the General and General P2P forums will work merged. The Help and Advice forum could be seen as a ginny pig experiment, and since it worked, it will open us up to greater and better things on this forum!

The Complete "Subforum" Suggestion! (Totally Updated!)
First off, I went to say thanks for the input. It is very much appreciated! :) I believe your plan has good intentions, but once again, it will complicate things. By putting in that button, it leaves the author in control of whether or not their post should be considered P2P or not. If you check the P2P box, less people would be able to see your topic. That is one of the problems we have now that is also discussed in this earlier on. People are intentinally misplacing their threads so their thread can get more publicity. Because of this, many mods have to work a lot harder than they should to restore the forums to their correct state. I believe by putting in a button, many users will not click it. Therefore, mods will once again have to work to hard for such a small issue. This means that we are once again at square one. I also believe that if we can't get users to post in the correct foums, this would be too complicated. I know many users will quickly digest clicking the button, but some users will be left in the dark. Then, once again, people will report the thread because it doesn't have the P2P content button checked. It sounds to messy for me, therefore, I am sure it is too messy for Mods. Thanks for the input! :) Devoted12

The Complete "Subforum" Suggestion! (Totally Updated!)
Thanks for your input Tripsis! :D I also noticed that people would post their topics in General P2P so that they could get more attention. I have even seen topics that say in the title KEEP IN P2P! When that is in the title, you know that they know it is in the wrong place. They want more attention for their topic. -------------------------------------------------------- Soon when I finish like 2k more nats, I will re-do this entire thread. I will make it so we are not only concentrating on the Help and Advice forums, we are concentrating on a lot of sub-forums being merged. If anyone would like to suggest more forums other than the Help and Advice forum plus the General P2P and General forums being merged, feel free to share. I will re-do it with people's quotes, that way, they all get credit for what was their idea. If for any reason you don't want your name up in lights, contact me, and I will take your idea off. ------------------------------------------------------- Aww man I'm left out. lol It's ok, as long as you guys keep me updated through here if you can. I don't know if that is against the rules or not though. :) --------------------------------------------------- Thanks for all the input guys and look for a total makeover so it makes it easier for everyone to understand if they are just joining the discussion! The Complete "Subforum" Suggestion! (Totally Updated!)
Thanks for the nice comment. That is a very nice compliment to recieve! It seems so far some of the mods would agree with the removal, so it seems like this is heading in the right direction. The subforums are causing more harm than good! Thanks for the compliments and input everybody! :) Devoted12

The Complete "Subforum" Suggestion! (Totally Updated!)
Yeah, I try to answer the question almost all of the time. Plus, I do other things than reporting, like posting in Tripsis's blog and QueenValerie's! lol  I agree with you, I am for the removal of subforums. They seem to complicate things a lot more than needed and also tend to drive people away because it looks intimidating. I totally agree with you! Yeah, I try to not do that. I try to answer their question while also telling them what forum they should use next time incase another question should arise. I also try to put that in the reports but I am not entirely sure if you guys actually read those and use them. If so, then that's good, a lot of extra work on my part was put to use. :) Thanks everyone for your input! :) Devoted12

The Complete "Subforum" Suggestion! (Totally Updated!)
I am happy where this thread is going with some great input! Thanks everyone. :) I guess I am classified in the wannabe mod thing then. I have been trying to sort a lot of the posts out in Help and Advice, and that means I fit your description perfectly. I feel pretty stupid now lol. I guess I need to tone down on that then. I also like the idea of eliminating the subforums, especially on Help and Advice. Surprisingly, I am not much of a "organization freak". I am actually the total opposite. To tell you the truth, I liked the old board of Help and Advice. I thought that anyone with a question would be answered in a manner by a person with the right answer. By seperating the forums, I believe that a lot of mods are having to do a lot of extra work that is not necessary. I know I have given these mods a lot of the work due to all my reports, but I thought the sub-forums were there to stay, therefore, that was the best action to take. By eliminating the subforums, the popular questions stay up, and the stupid, immature questions go away. Plus, a person who wishes to answer the question doesn't have to go through a maze if you will to just get to the right question. Since the subforums were created, I saw a decrease in people visiting those forums. I rarely see more than two people on that forum! Before, many people visited the forum because it was easy to pick and choose what question they wished to answer. I think by eliminating unneeded subforums is, in fact, the best way to go. Less work for the moderators, which leads to less moderators being needed. Like The Sith said, it will also weed out all the wannabe mods that report things (I am guilty of it, I did it ALL day). Doing all this will vanquish a lot of the stress that mods and administrative members have to deal with on a day to day basis. Thanks for all the input everybody and feel free to add more anytime! :) Devoted12

Fast way to get limp roots.
I don't think there is a mini-game or anything that would give you limps. I guess just killing hill giants is the best way but it takes forever!!! Unless you want to do that, I'd suggest buying them lol. Also, please use this sub-forum next time with anything concerning Money-Making, Monster, Item, NPC Help. This is the link! http://forum.tip.it/viewforum.php?f=111 Thanks! :) Devoted12

please lock
Well you should be able to fight them with that combat. I don't know what to tell you then. Watch your health when you get in there and try to stay by things that block some of the monsters so your not getting attacked by 5 things at a time. Good luck! :)

please lock
I am almost positive they are untradeable. I know if you get pked with these, they just disapear, the pker doesn't get them. Runecrafting is a slow skill, you are going to want these. What's your level, that may be your problem. Maybe your too low, so they multicombat area will overwhelm you!
