upto you if you want to do blast furnace, i've been there once and i kinda got bored but if you wanna save money and enjoy it go ahead i personally make iron plates but i can afford that, you'll most likely make money at blast using hammers etc but it wiill cost you exp

yes you can have 0gp loss if you sell your nails to the sawmill, 240gp a bar will give you no lose, i've sold over 2m nails there so i would know and yes use sc hammers if you can get 3 per hour i'm 83 smithing btw and you can use blast furncae under level 60 bu [bleep] iwll cost you about 12k to get in its free after level 60 but i would suggest iron nails, if you cant be arsed selling them to sawmill sell them to me you will lose maybe 7k by selling them to me

iron plates with sc hammers, about 4.6gp per exp andabout 3.18 exp after you sell or get rid of your iron plates, the sc hamemr cut the cost in half, and it works out you get 96k from 3 hammers and you can get 3 hammers per hour so its always best to do it that way i can smitha round 1800 bar an hour if im focused
