  1. Doesn't that solve your argument? if there are 4 of the same steels free why not go for one of them? They are all the same right? I don't mean to be too patronising becasue it can get annoying for me but only when all the monsters are taken. Well, I understand what you mean, but, there are two things I must point out. ONE: My personal philosophy (It's up there somewhere) TWO: You're right, other than my own personal beliefs, it's hard to not say just move to the next one. But then, why can't the other person just take the next one? And like you said, what if all the monsters are already taken? That's when if your the last person in the room, you should world switch and not be a total butthead. :D
  2. What still applies? I'm well aware the monster isn't my property. It's like when you and 3 friends in RL are playing some basketball and then 8 other kids come in and run you over, with another hoop on the other side of the court. It's just a butt face thing to do.
  3. I have no idea where you're getting the impression that everyone who says the updates are awful are real world traders and/or macroers. If that were true, I'd say about half the population is autoing. Remeber that everyone has a right to their opinion, including yourself, but it's not really necessary for you to tell people not to be so angry. A lot of people had their fun taken away from them. Bounty hunter can't replace the thrill of walking through the wilderness with a group of friends hunting down people. Even being the victim was fun sometimes, when you're three iteming, just to see if you can get away. I had a lot of fun in the wilderness, and that has been taken away from me. I'd advocate for bringing it back if I could. Am I a macroer? No. Am I an autoer? No. I'm just a dude who wants the wilderness restored. ...And I rarely Pk'ed.
  4. Oh naturally I could, but I have this wierd philosophy that if I kill the same dragon enough times, I'll get a good drop more often than if I ran around killing random (insert random high level monster here)'s the whole time. (It's done me right so far, a visage, d legs, and countless clue scrolls)
  5. Players with no respect for people who were there before them. I come to the metal dragons and find myself a nice looking one, and I start to mage it. I get around...100 consecutive kills. On the same dragon. With 3 to 4 other avaliable Steel dragons, a guy comes in and starts killing MY dragon. I understand, no monster is MINE...but what kind of a low life no respect (could use about 1,000 explitives I'm so angry right now) kind of person takes your monster away with 4 other ones that are exactly the same. Sometimes, they have the nerve to kill another of the particular type of monster you're killing and then coming back and taking yours AGAIN. Then, naturally, that person always calls you a noob if you say something like "Have some respect, and find your own instead of robbing mine". I get furious over the fact that people have no respect for people who were there before them. I ALWAYS find my own monster, or switch worlds until I can find one avaliable, rather than be a complete child and take a kill from someone else. GAH. I HATE them. People like this I've encountered since the start of the rant: 4 Proof. This kid comes in, steals my monster, and then claims he's been there for "Four days".
  6. Wakka! Nice job on getting 84 Smithing. Truly a tough skill to level. Pre-Congrats on getting that to rune smithing. It'll be a great day for you, of that I'm sure. On the RL side.... Noticed in one of your pics you're posing in front of a slipknot jacket. Oddly enough, my G/f's cousin is the Bassist. Can you say "Fr33 Tix Plox?" :D
  7. I had a thought...Perhaps they could impliment this system. The system of trading would be based off of your total level. Which means the higher you're total level is, the more room you have to work with. With each incriment of 10 levels a character increases, the more room they have with the wealth system. Example: Character A is total level 30. He can trade and lose or gain 5k in any trade. So if A wants to buy a rune woodcutting axe (Let's say the axe's price in the GE is 11k-13k), he must offer between 5k of the minimum and maximum of the GE prices (IE: 6k-16k). Character B is a total level 1900. He can trade and lose or gain 1.25M in any trade. As of right now, I'm to tired to elaborate on that system. Let me know if I have something going there.
  8. IMO If they bring back the wilderness before Christmas, they stand a SMALL chance of bringing back enough members to keep the game relativly stable. However, if that new item trading thing does indeed come out, then runescape will definatly begin it's downfall and, I fear, may end up dying out.
  9. GREAT points. I've added my opinion on what's going to happen at the bottom of the first post.
  10. This debate is outdated, please lock.
  11. Terrible, TERRIBLE update. This will probably get the RWT problem solved, but at what cost? I cannot believe this. Thousands of people plan on quitting. I myself will go f2p if the 3k wealth limit is imposed. This is practically a tyrannical rule over the market.
  12. Thanks a lot sephiroth king. I appreciate your kind words. He has some good points about the GE though, I must say. However, the GE will cause prices to drop, and you're right, eventually sellers will stop selling at such low prices and force the market for things like fish back up. PS: Yes, this is very true, I did make 25M from skilling. However, you must remember, it is only because I had my shop that my goods sold at my price, rather than me being stuck somewhere and having them drop slowly. Again, thanks to you both :D.
