I don't see why they can't make all armors bronze-rune be able to exhange between plateskirt and platelegs.. Also, female characters wear some tops differently(belly is exposed when wearing mystic top on a girl) so there's no need to make a female top armor. Somehow when a girl wears armor it fits to her.. curves pretty well somehow. Flexible metal?

I'm pretty sure it is Real World Trading, I think that it's money or services being exchanged for runescape gold. It's not like anyone here has the proof to report you since it's pretty easy to go on a third-party forum and pretend you're someone on Runescape. Also, it's not that hard. Seriously. I assume you know how to get skins so just get one that has a blue/white theme and change some icons so it has the Saradomin logo instead of whatever.

Abyssal. Also, this is just a little ridiculous. I don't know about you guys but I don't spend an hour a day making money just so whatever I spend it on can be wiped away from my account. Also, items like rune and below still have meaning to low levels, so taking them away from them would be like a punch in the face. I remember when I was going for my first Rune weapon.. I mined ess for quite a while(this was before the pure ess update :boohoo: ) and I would have been pretty upset if I lost all the work I put into it. If you want to limit a player's activity in Runescape, give him/her a 2 hour time limit on an account. This might not do much for f2pers but unless you'd like to spend 10+ dollars a month for multiple members, this would hopefully get their addiction under control. There's also rehab too. :P

Yeah. Making money is incredibly slow nowadays.. Call me impatient, but you'd be too if you made 120k an hour. My problem is this: I am unsatisfied with law running and it just happens to be the best way for me to make money at the moment. Don't point me to one of those guides in this forum, all they have to display are the obvious and I've outgrown every method in there a long time ago. A recommendation I hear a lot is merchanting.. the thing is, not everyone can merchant. There are people that benefit from the price gouging, and those who take the bullet(or choose not to buy). I hear a lot of people say go to world 2.. everyone whose there is looking to penny and nickel every last gp out of me, so it's not really possible for me to buy low when everyone else is trying to sell high. A friend of mine insists that he makes a lot of money by pking.. He pks around levels 40-50(a f2p ranger) and all I can really say is pking at that level is a joke. There are no rune pures at that level, and the only thing you'll ever get(assuming someone doesn't pray to keep it) is a rune scimitar, or the unprotectable 400-500 chaos runes or some arrows. High level pkers already have an expendable budget so they're not really making that much.. it's more about the glory of being that one guy who killed 10 people in a pk video, I'm guessing. Not to mention if you're a good pker you will at least break even if not have 200-300k in profit. So does anybody have any recommendations for how I could make money?

Firemaking, am I right?!! Slayer doesn't seem to have much of a real use in the real world... HP would be good... I guess you'd have like a 50% bigger lifespan than everyone else so that'd be pretty sweet..

I think an agility course would be done differently. New room: Agility course 100k No doors or walls Two furnitures you can put in: 1. Obstacle In the middle of the room, takes up most of the space. This is the item that you have to jump over/swing across/climb over/squeeze through/etc. 2. Scenery Skeletons(in case your agility arena is lethal), trees, or a table with a whistle on it. What does this whistle do? Summons your personal trainer, of course! You may hire a gnome, barbarian, wolf, pirate, penguin personal trainer, and at a very high level construction and a big price, the Drill Demon. Agility Courses could be put together like a Hot Wheels track, and they can be in basements as an indoors agility arena..

Private servers? What are they? A server. But it's private. Well usually private servers are illegal Runescape "worlds" hosted by somebody other than Jagex. The creator will usually tweak the game in some ways, I've seen videos of a private server where an enemy's actual hits in numbers 99/99 was displayed above the hp bar. Also, unsurprisingly the creators have access to commands or whatever that generate items. Free party hats.

I just thought I'd point this out: Aside from ruining the game for people who play fair, "no advantages over other players" is an important rule because people would feel like they had to download a macro program(or a client, in some cases) just to be on par with everyone else in Runescape. And of course if you download one of these macro programs you are likely to be keylogged or get a trojan. I expect sarcastic comments and "duh"s in the next three posts so go ahead.

Well, since there has been lots of fuss on what the f7 tile is, I was discussing new possible skills and I think I had a good idea: Bard Skill Overview: A skill that effects combat level, but is outside the combat triangle. Just so there are no unattackable lvl 3s in the wilderness using awesome heal songs on their friends. Bards use instruments as short range musical(magical)/melee weapons to deal less than average damage, but depending on their instruments, they can play songs that have various effects on themselves, selected targets and friendly units surrounding them. Bards can play songs depending on their level, which allows them to equip the item that plays the song. This has a special meter or has a Right Click "operate" option in case you place it on the ground. First off: the weapons. The "lyrics" are text that are displayed while a player performs these songs as if the player were saying this, similar to preaching from a prayer book. Bass: a contrabass or doublebass, whatever you prefer to call them. Made using crafting and a maple log and iron bar. Works like a cannon as you place it on the map, and then walk up to it and play it. It's song is the War March, this will raise all friendly players in the 3x3 area's strength by 20%. This fully drains the special bar. Lyrics: "Filled with rage by the smells of dead Unsheath your swords and begin bloodshed!" Bamboo Flute: Self explanatory. Dropped by tribesmen, and made by fletching. Requires two hands to wield. It's song is the Calming Tune, this will make any monsters targetting the recipient(the bard or any person of his choice with aid turned on) stop attacking for five to ten seconds. 50% drain. Lyrics: There are no lyrics. It's a flute. Bone Flute: Dropped by Dorgeshuun Goblins or bought from one of their stores. Requires both hands to wield. It's song is the Stealth Serenade, this will make the recipient not be attacked by any monsters for ten seconds. Also, using a bone dagger or bone crossbow special while this is in effect will be very effective. 33% drain. Two handed. Lyrics: It's hard to sing and play a flute at the same time, unless you are trying to sing "toot toot toot toot toot". Drum: Lowest level bard weapon. Bought from stores or made with a log and cowskin. Two handed. It's song is the Focus Beat, anybody in the 3x3 area practicing a harvesting/crafting skill(anything non-combat) will recieve a 10% boost in that skill. Practicing refers to anything that gets you experience. 25% drain. Lyrics: Again, no lyrics. Singing to a drum beat just sounds lame. Bronze Bell: Made with several bronze bars by smithing. It's song is the Healing Harmony, which restores the target's health by 10 hp. 25% drain. Lyrics: "Wounds healed and bandages placed Feel the sensation of healthy grace" Gold Bell: Made with several gold bars by smithing. It's song is the Restorative Rhyme, which heals everyone in the 3x3 area by 20 hp. 25% drain. Also, this will heal any poisons. Lyrics: "Blood not spills, your scars are no more Sickness is cured and no longer is gore" Guitar: Made with mahogany logs and a steel bar by crafting. Two handed. It's song is the Runner's Riff. Everyone in the 3x3 area's run energy is restored. 100% drain. Piano: Unlike the other instruments, it can not be wielded and unlike the Bass, it can't be carried around. With the piano, you have to come to it. I suggest that a chaos cathedral is added as a multicombat area so someone migt actually pk there. It's song is the Mourning Lullaby, any opponents who have a stat that they themselves potted to increase(no using butterflies on them to make this happen to them) in any way will take 10 damage. Beat-up guitar: Same ingredients but lower level to make. steel bars. 2 handed, it's song is the Tramp's Shanty. Creates 5 beers in the inventory and 8 on each space surrounding you. 100% drain. Used in a quest or just for fun, I guess. Lyrics: "If I had some alchohol I don't take sips, I'd chug it all If I had to go and buy that beer I'd ask for it from the players here" For combat, each instrument can be used as a weapon by melee or sound(magic) using two different styles. Only melee experience is gained from "attacking", though. When using the sound(magical) attack or performing any song, if you try to use it on someone wearing earmuffs it will not be effective. Armors: Coming soon. ((I am considering changing the name to Minstrel instead of Bard.. does anybody support this?))

Well, I guess some people are going to disagree, but I have just found myself struggling to get around with having such worthless teleports...and not to mention my magic level is only high enough to use Paddewa/Edgeville Dungeon teleport. But I have one request. Take the "House Teleport" from the Modern Magic spellbook and put it in the Ancients. Same level requirement, same runes.. It just doesn't seem like something that should be excluded from any spellbook. Maybe it should be added to Lunar too, but since that has a spell that can access other spellbooks I guess it doesn't really need it if you are high enough level to use that spell. Or, another suggestion, make an enchantable ring/amulet/necklace/bracelet that takes you to your house. Give it 5 charges or so. Brass Necklace enchanted into Home Necklace, anyone? P.S. I need to work on my Construction!! I'm switching back to Modern. :P

Well, I am doing Desert Treasure and I am going in order according to the guide here. As soon as I fought Dessous, the game started.. well, things would be off and on. The game would freeze for about half a second and then go back to normal for another half a second. I found it pretty hard to fight like this so I left. With 1 HP when I got to Varrock. So.. Is this supposed to happen? I was not slowed down at all in the swamp or in Varrock after teleporting, and the area that you fight Dessous in isn't super high-quality so I don't see why it got all messed up suddenly.

Well, I got this idea from a topic about different pickaxes and getting gems, so I thought "What if you could bejewel your pickaxe and then enchant it?" and it seems more suitable for certain weapons. So, I thought I might make a topic about it. I think you should be able to add gems to certain weapons that have been neglected, I'm talking about short swords, claws, warhammers, just about anything that Jagex has not bothered to make into Dragon yet. Once bejeweled, the weapon doesn't do much except look different, basically the blade of the weapon is a different color matching it's gem(think of the Machetes) or just added on in an intricate design on warhammers. These weapons can then be enchanted. It doesn't make sense to have this for anything other than Rune since all other metals become obselete after level 40 attack, and there's plenty of nice quest weapons and other weak things to fill the gap in between level 1 to 40 anyways. Some gems and their effects: Onyx. This will have a special which breaks through the opponent's defenses for one very accurate attack that is almost guaranteed to do damage, regardless of their defense level or armor equipped. Dragonstone. When enchanted the weapons will raise the user's attack up one temporary level for each 10 damage they deal, and this does not total so if you hit anything under 10 that doesn't count, it's only hits 10 or over that count towards the raise. Well, I'll work more on this later. Maybe put up some pictures or something.

..by the way, the "Aqua Pick" idea has already been done, kind of. It's a Sapphire Bracelet, if you enchant it, it becomes a "Bracelet of Clay" which turns all clay that you mine while wielding it soft clay automatically. I'm pretty sure there's a limit to the number of clay you can mine but it's already been done. Aside from that, I really like the idea. I also suggest some sort of pick that finds gems more often, as the only thing I've heard of that does that is Glory Ammy. Maybe a bejeweled and then enchanted pick?

Well I don't have trouble getting zeal either, but I usually attack spinners or some other monster for zeal. I can't hit anything other than 0s on the portals.. I'll try again, I'm going back to pc. Be back later with results.

Well I am not very useful in Pest Control so I was wondering what weapon I could use so I could actually damage the portals. My dragon dagger is not very effective :( 66 attack, by the way. So any weapons I should use, or is it just hopeless at my low attack level?

Well, today I went to go buy some runes at the Port Sarim magic shop. (No laughing please) I saw a lvl 3 buying things there. As I went to see what was in stock the chaos and death runes were currently at 0, and as soon as it was restocked with another rune it was bought. His/her name was.. well I forgot but it was a combination of two short words, like "outbe" or something. So I switch worlds. I was in 66, and went to 60. Another one with a similar name and was hogging the magic shop there too. Any info on these things?

Yaaaay! But he happens to be a rather low level and poorly equipped. I plan on bringing a dds as weapon, and supply myself with swordfish as food. Just recently got 43 prayer, and boosted it at Prayer Guild to be 45. The guide says I should have a high agility level, but as you can see I do not. Do I need to work on that? Suggestions?

Yeah, basically nooby pkers do this as they are unable to fight people who are actually prepared.. It's not like it's unfair or anything but I imagine it's a huge thorn in the side to get pked so often.. I wouldn't know as I never use abyss. I wonder if 5 minute nat trips is worth how long it takes though. >_>

Go to the Mage Training Arena. Directly north of Al Kharid dueling arena. You learn it there through lots of working. Lots and lots of it. :|

They're constantly changing.. Often there will be "invite worlds" where people will invite other people they see fit to join them on their team.. It kind of pisses me off as once they pick a world and go there they think that any innocent bystanders must have snuck in to join their uber team.. and then I get a lot of "go away noob". Just go to whatever world you feel like. If you're in the right place at the right time you'll get to join/tag along with a good group.

Well, Runescape is ridiculous some days.. those stupid fairies over at Zanaris demand a diamond for absolutely everything and of course the gem shop is always sold out. Of EVERYTHING. Solution: When does the shop restock, so I can be there and immediately buy the gems?
