woohoo! I win...any replying back I know I said I'm done posting here but I just find it too funny that you'd drag the Rscript.org project into the thread. If you would bother reading the website, you would see it is not a third party client, but an IRC bot that pulls data from the high scores page and displays it to the IRC user or room, much like the html calculators Tip.It and other sites have. It's also already in use in the Tip.It IRC room. RuneScript has nothing to do with third party clients and does not integrate itself with the game in any way, shape or form. You're so busy trying to convince the staff to support third party clients and software that you're bring up things that don't even have anything to do with the discussion... And if you bothered to read my post to the extent that I read your website you'd see that I said:  -
Your just gunna have to work your...eh...butt?...off, I wouldn't try to use things to help ya, sidetracking wont help ya in the end... lets give a tip.it example... "I wan't to get to 99 hunter..." The hard way training normally...and that is garunteed Short way is macroing...and that is a ban or that very slim chance you'll get away with it. :)
-
I'm such a bad person, I know O:) Lol, I never did macro :P lol, not many people realize that... :) Legit N2N ftw. ...but on the flip side don't tell anyone the stuff that I did do  And Lardy, you raise a good point, if tip.it released a bot, 1/2 the people would use it...as in use it; that means not the in the sense that most people who your thinking of...and don't set up a poll (to the guy that's thinking about it) deception is common in humans. :shame: it'd end up with some revolution except with people like imp's users. shagohod, impresonating Jagex would be calling yourself part of Jagex or saying that your are them... :) Lol, dont ban me for saying all that, lol...As I said before, I don't macro nor make them. No more info on me!

through* my head? OK then, lets say I cant find it, oh well, (Going back to the origional reason you stated that) I know many people who use short 6 letter passwords that equal out to a word that could be easily cracked, you are still very wrong on that argument, infact, an admin could crack passwords and I hope you'll get it through your thick skull that was even willing to go back in the past to argue a dropped point that it is possible, but not likely as I (as said before) assume your admins would never do that. All arguments aside, your way off topic. And I wasn't exactly arguing with him, I was more telling him that he was off-topic (with the current stance), and if he wanted to reply to read the rest of the posts or at least the last few. There was no logical reason for you to come back in and argue that point, now (as you said before) you are infact the one arguing the 'lost cause' or as I could say 'dropped point'. I hope the next post ignores this one and the one above it. :) PS - Why not use Loose's and Cruiser's RuneScript, add that to a client, and do that? Just saw it in his siggy... :| -

As that may be true, the topic changed in the posts before yours to why tip.it shouldn't link to SS or the site and now is almost to the point of, why doesn't tip.it get people to make their own client (eg. me). and alright, I wont quote ya :) -

If you talking about posting them on the RS forums, I would, but can't. Anyone who would like to copy-paste or whatever is more than welcome, just make sure it hasn't already been posted :) If tip.it has another way of submitting suggestions...lol sure, that'd be awesome :) Of course it's only 2 pages long, but still nobody has thought any of the ideas are terrible  -

Ignores one senseless spam post knowing nothing of what he's talking about...we had rants about 1 line posts like this didn't we...great example coming from a guy with 9k posts. Way to set the example. Yea, your right, that's what we've been discussing... Yea, your right, I'd have to be trusted, and considering my background, I doubt I would be...but I could zip the file which allows for scanning before any self-running [Caution: ExecutableFile] or self extracting file can run...eh If an admin wants me to work on a world switcher, I can probably make something along the lines of SS, except make it from scratch and call it tip.it's ...you could be the ones to look it over and release it...PM me and I can enlighten you on whatever you'd like to know about me...I only feel like talking to admins (or people I know ;) ) about that for the sake that I don't feel like getting a worse rep than I currently have on tip.it  :) -
Eh, I've seen it work on numerous forums, gah...I guess the only one I'll tell you about is d2jsp.com ...I use this site in many of my examples because of the many many forum plugins that they use...I used to be apart of this site...Idk if my account is even active anymore...lol...These are the forums that first got me into Java and then eventually Runescape... Anyway...the site itself may be looked down on by tip.it, but check out their reputation system, it works flawlessly, the trusted users have high rep while the lessers have less

I did not call you names. The only instance of "dumb" I could find in my post is this: If you look closely, I was quoting you using it. I do not believe in name-calling for the sake of it. And if I look closely, I see that you asked for only one other client, and I did provide one with comparable features to Swift's: RuneHQ's world switcher. Please see the link I provided in my earlier reply. Also, pretending that someone knows about all world switchers in existence is foolish, and knowing them all should not be expected of neither you nor me. I did not expect this either. Personally, I did a Google search for "RuneScape world switcher" [www.google.ca] to find these three clients. They serve as examples since I cannot enumerate them all in a forum post. I'd like to add that it's the maker's responsibility to advertise a creation of theirs (or the users tell others about it), and as such, Zybez should be the only one promoting Swift or authorising the promotion of it. Tip.it would get in huge wars with Zybez over this, because linking to Swift on Tip.it might be enough for some users to think that there is an affiliation between them. There is not, and should never be. You seem inclined to bring me down just for the sake of it; can you reply rationally to this post? first of all, I interpreted As you voiding everything that I said except the fact that I called myself "I'm not as dumb as some may think" Idk, but there's no reason to use a large vocabulary on a Runescape forum where your mostly discussing 'issues' with people 12-16 years (I personally am 19, but that's aside the point) back on topic: Eh, I disagree about wars that you say would arise because of it, I'm sure all tip.it would have to do is ask Zybez if they could use their client and I'm sure they wouldn't mind, it would as everyone says actually be advertising for them, but at the same time, letting people on tip.it use this resource. If your suggesting that tip.it should only use it's own resources, I could whip up a client for tip.it, I couldn't make it look as good as others, VB is probably best for that, and I'm more of a Java guy...but I could make it work , and tip.it could find others possibly experienced in VB to work on fine tuning...but that would be completely possible...put in a few of tip.it's calculators, it would be one of the best... eh, actually, I may be able to find a few people willing to help with a project like that...it could be submitted to the tip.it staff, source and everything, and then you could trust that...I guess that could possibly work as a last resort... But I dont see why asking Zybez (or any of the other sites) would hurt, there would be virtually no loss. -
I searched the 1st page, found nothing, and then used the search button, and found nothing...sorry if it's been suggested...if it has and it was shot down, lock this. ;) I searched "rep", so it should have found "reputation" aswell... Anyway, a few topics down there was a complaint (I think a few topics down...) about one line posts and how post count mattered too much...I dont know if it would work or not, because it works on some communities, and on others is an utter failure, matters what kind of users are in your community...anyway... even though I know I'd have a -rep by now  ...I still think it would be a cool idea to get a plugin or something. Comments?

AFKing is illegal, so they would have no grounds on afking. I'm pretty sure AFKing isn't illegal, just looked down on. I just searched the manual and they have nothing...may be a hidden rule, but idk... And yea, there's definately not enough time, I'd want something closer to 5 mins so I could at least get started on one of my longer posts before having to switch back and back and begin cooking again ;)

I chose one link because all rainbow tables used by others have similar sizes and success rates anyways. The method is the same. I don't care about downed sites; they don't bring your argument down to my eyes. Theta [theta.in] by Antiaverage and contributors. Web-based. The RuneHQ world switcher [www.runehq.net] by Oblivion590 and DownStrike. Web-based, JavaScript. LeetScape [www.leetscape.com] by 3 Hit U. Web-based, JavaScript. I'd trust all of these world switchers not to contain any malicious code, and this could be proven by examining the JavaScript in the page before running it. [in any recent browser, disable JavaScript and then launch the switcher.] All clients must abide by Jagex's new Rule 7, although I don't know how they could enforce that. Maybe an HTTP referrer check, I don't know. As for your questions, see: Source: Forum thread [leetscape.com] Totally devoid of argumentation except for name-calling. Calling me dumb for not knowing about 3 other clients is a bit low, wouldn't you think? Even then, oh well, link to 4 sites, and give the advantages/disagvantages of each, I don't see much work or trouble in having this, as long as the list doesn't become overwhelming, I'd still say it's alright. I dont know any of the people that you mensioned, but if you's truely consider them trustworthy, why not? If this goes back to advertising other 'rival' sites, I'd like to note - making allies is better than making enemies. -
Spout breasts? Dehydration? idk if I'd get into that :| A full...well, it's kinda a list...from a site that even sells it... http://www.bodybuilding-supplement-guid ... fects.html

mmhmm - Oh really? I would consider these terrorists; wouldn't you? Well that was off-topic...and the reason most would say Bush sucks would be because of his decision to go to war with Iraq instead of Afghanistan, or for his comment "Lets take 'em out, bring 'em on!" or for escalating the troops by 20,000 and at the same time saying we're trying to put more pressure on the Iraqi government or one of his his many many other stupid moments. ... Sure, we need to put more pressure on the Iraqi government, but adding 20,000 troops wont help that overall goal  Uhh, well the world should probably help as has been stated many times before. I'd like to note that, in theory, communistic governments are flawless, it's curruption that hurts their credibility. And how the hell would us being communists change anything? Since when were communists the world police your talking about? No we can't, but we can do a better job of fanning our support as opposed to focusing it...and heck, again, America isn't our only worry. Or maybe America is only part of the equation, yet a big part. And the world completes that equation. ...Wow that was intelligent. -
I'm just going to throw a quick fact out there: Marijuana can help people... http://www.medicalmarijuanaprocon.org/ Very unbiased if I do say so myself...and they'll state their sources.

[Note]about[/i] the quote, and to None2None] A process exists to "crack" passwords by storing a table of precalculated reversed pairs (hash -> text) in a file on disk, also known as the time-memory tradeoff [en.wikipedia.org] or rainbow tables [en.wikipedia.org]. These make cracking passwords faster by simply reading from the disk and checking whether the hash is found in a more efficient manner. The algorithm used is available on the Internet by doing a Google search for "time-memory tradeoff" [www.google.com]. Consider that, to crack these MD5 hashes, you download RainbowCrack. Consider that you order these rainbow tables [www.rainbowtables.net] for MD5 hashes and use them with it. Knowing how security-conscious Cruiser is, he will have chosen either of the following: [*:36oy7g7q]a password longer than 12 characters with lowercase letters and digits; [*:36oy7g7q]a password longer than 8 characters with lower/uppercase letters, digits and special characters. Both of these have prohibitive disk space requirements (in addition to not being available on the website above): [*:36oy7g7q]a lower-digit table for 1-12 characters would take 7,004,700 GB, and would not even cover Cruiser's choices of more characters than 12; [*:36oy7g7q]a lower-upper-digit-special table for 1-8 characters would take 1,516,127 GB, and would not even cover Cruiser's choices of more characters than 8. Simply, we don't have this much storage in a reasonable number of server-grade hard drives yet. You'd also be wasting your time brute-forcing that hash. And another person would refute you and say SS is not the best, and so-and-so third-party client is. Then you'd repeat your argument over and over, making it an argumentum ad infinitum [en.wikipedia.org], a logical fallacy. Seriously, it is all a matter of preference, and each user is a fervent of one client in disfavor of another. Support one, and everyone will want links to their own favorite clients. There is no single client link that will please everyone. Even if other Swift users came into this topic and supported your argument, None2None, this would still be a logical fallacy: the bandwagon argument [en.wikipedia.org], "everyone is doing it, therefore it must be right; everyone is using it, therefore it must be the best." So there. [edits: Fixed various typos, wording and bad forum markup] Ah, and I just realized that everyone I checked on my forums had logged onto this computer at one point or another...but, to my defence again...a site that has an extencive database of various hashes coule be http://md5.rednoize.com ... or Here's a smaller one... http://passcracking.ru ... And yet another... http://gdataonline.com/seekhash.php And even your wikipedia link gave various links to sites with their own databases  The first seems to be under construction atm though, wait a day and check it, it might be up...idk... The internet is a great place t store mass ammounts of information isn't it? :) info so you dont think I just chose a downed site for a reason: http://forums.devshed.com/website-criti ... 09141.html Even so, that is all off-topic...so back on topic. And if you can name another client, made by a trusted person, with all of the features of SS, and it legal, tell me and I might start to use that, but the only other clients that I could possibly get my hands are are used mostly for bots and macros, and I'm not going to do that, they're barely legal if at all and I'll just get banned...that's not going to happen. A client is a client, true, but are your prefrences as big-name and trusted as SS? and do the makers of your favorite have direct links to Jagex and the obligations that SS has? Have your clients gone to the same effort that strider did to make their client legal again? I would assume no. If you can truely answer yes to each and every one of thoes questions, maybe you should make two legal. Concerning safety, I dont think your argument (about SS) holds water...Your bringing things to extreems, and using big words and wikipedia wont change my opinion ;) I'm not as dumb as some may think. -

Yea, we should have just let Hitler rein in Germany and continue to take over the world and kill many people because of their religions. Yea, helpless countries should just help themselves while we live in peace. Well, that is, until we're attacked, and by then we'll be screwed over because they own the world. Your theory is so flawed, summing it up, your an idiot, foreign policies are needed, hence how EVERY COUNTRY has them. As I've said before, most people have thoughts beyond themselves. -

Obviously you dont know what you are talking about , firstly phpBB3 is in a beta stage and shouldnt be used in a live environment and secondly , you CANNOT see passwords in the Admin Control Panel , its not possible, even if you tried to modify your forum to do so , the passwords are stored using MD5 hashes which CANNOT be reversed, they are one way.. Yes, it is a beta...I never disagreed with that...but go in and act as if you are changing a password, the old password should be shown as "**********" (as an example) ...there are a few programs that I believe can 'de-code' that...I have one that works on my, personal password and 3 other's when I go into edit it I wasn't asking for a link to every specific client, I was suggesting to give a link to one and only one client being SS. SS is now legal and is from a (in my and many other's opinions) trusted person. I still have yet to see a reason that tip.it refuses to allow (maybe even posted by an admin or moderator) a SS link and discussion forum, subforum, or topic. I'm not asking for the approval of all possible clients, but simply the best. SS. -

Yada yada, I'll stay on topic.... I went to Cambodia once before and went to the Killing Fields, is what I believe they are called, I saw a plaque that stated "May the world learn from this so it may never happen again." I also have been to Auschwitz in Germany and say a similar phrase. If only the world will learn. Search "Genocide" along with "never again" and you get people doubting that it will ever cease to exist. I cant believe how sad that this is the moral that people have. It needs to change, it will stop, we just have to learn like so many have asked us to. Sure, the world sends some food and a small ammount of money, but obviously, that's not enough. THE WORLD isn't doing enough, it is THE WORLD that is blind. I believe he sais it 100x better than I ever could. It's sickening.
