STOP GENOCIDE IN SUDAN AND UGANDA!New Video!!
None2None replied to Keep_It_Real's topic in Off-Topic
If you look at my fact of the day, Joseph, to back up a reason to start the war, says that he is "Alice"(s) cousin. That's right....I remember now, sorry, I watched the video when you first made the thread and forgot some of the (important >.<) details like that #-o And Alice was the one who lead the first army and was the one who stated that if you were pure in belief of her God, and rubbed 'holy oil' on yourself, the bullets would not penetrate you...right? :| -

The LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) conflict is in northern Uganda and southern Sudan :) Joseph started an uprising of children because they are easily brainwashed and make good loyal soldiers, he also made a 'religion' or 'cult' out of his cause claiming that he was God...or something along the lines of that...I forget exactly. -
Google, just because of muscle memory and the fact that I can type is faster than a speeding bullet... ...going...across...my...computer...screen............ :P

If the school is close to you, keep your friends...I have many friends who live 30min away, but I see them every week, sometimes every other day...if your moving far away, talk on AIM, MSN, what you will, and then get together sometime in the summer, just do what you can to retain what you have while still trying to move foreward :P

The war in iraq, What do you think we should do?
None2None replied to splatmster24's topic in Off-Topic
not my words, though i agree with pretty much most of it. and yes, you could say soldiers are semi-brainwashed, but if that is what it takes to keep them alive in battle (and it is) so be it.. yes, im biased, but so are you, so is everyone reading this post, so dont tell me im bias until your perfect i dont care if your a christian or not, that quote makes sense. being bais isn't a bad thing...it just means that you (or your statements in this case) lean twords one side...no offence was intended in that, sorry if it had any :| :) -

Yea, I watched the whole thing front to back. I was partially informed on the issue beforehand, but haden't seen the video. It was pretty cool, seeing how thoes 3 (students?) changed from the begining to the end. :) And on the topic of guns being used or not? It would be absolutely great if they didn't have to be used, but, I'm sorry to say, I believe it is beyond diplomacy. I think force is the only way now that they have gone this far. Keep in mind, the rebels see it as a religious rebelion, and thoes arn't as easy to crush with words, or even guns. -
 besides voicing my opinion, I havent had many posts that are TOO dumb, argumentative? yes. dumb? eh, less so :P
-
rofl :P From my experice, it just feel slike a muscle pain and hurts when you breath too deep or suddenly move (jump, hit something, etc.) it gradually gets worse until the point where you cant stand it anymore, and you go to the hospital, but it's nothing that would just happen in a second

The war in iraq, What do you think we should do?
None2None replied to splatmster24's topic in Off-Topic
The military has always been overwhelmingly conservative (minus the Vietnam War...where a draft was in place...) I personally dont care what they think. They know no more than I do about it, they just see it first hand and follow orders, they dont have to know reasons, they just know they have to do it. it's their job. They become somewhat brainwashed if you ask me (no offence to anyone, it's just that you have to convince yourself on a cause, else it's be very hard to risk your life for something you dont agree with) Keep in mind, many (other) generals and sergents, aswell as CIA and FBI agents have even been torn on the issue of the war and this rarely happens, most of the time they wont express their opinions if they are against each other. I would say that your statements have a bais twords one specific person or type of person. -
Same thing, the medical term is 'pneumothorax' though ;) Exactly my reason. Tall, skilly, young, males is what I was told :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pneumothorax

...Give me a name and I might believe you...but I have my own resources to tell me that that's near-impossible and not profitable...are you sure he wasn't a level 3 skiller?

Very well said. Rose, I look down on you, yes, I am higher than you for the simple sake that I care. Its not nice or mean, it;s moraled or unmoraled. You seem to be the second. -
I just had one a month or so ago :P I procrastinated thinking it was just muscle pains for about a month...by the time I got to the hospital they said that 60% of my right lung had collapsed, and yea, mine was spontanious...freaky :) So far so good, nothing else has happaned.. best of luck to ya!

*Quickly saves pic* And what they are saying is only partially true...8,000 a week I can understand...thats probably all from 1,000 people  IP banning - doesn't work...most SMART macroers use proxies... The code system can be un-coded, there are programs that can cut out patterns and then see raw (or close to raw) letters, I remember back in RSC when they did do that, back when I did macro, and there were programs around it. Banning mains and mules is definately done more-often today than was in the past, but still isn't always, there are still many 'untrackabe' ways to transfer that mains are not banned from, and don't go telling me there arn't; I survived the mass-ban (was it 15,000 in a day?) that many people lost their mains in, and I still have kept a few friends who continue to macro and get away with it. Their tactics have changed over the years due to better security on Jagex's part, but I agree, still more has to be done...the hardest thing to get around in the past was the sleeping bag...idk if macroers have gotten better since, but you used to have to run up to 3 programs per bot because of sleeping. Maybe bring that back? idk. I'll repeat this as I do after any post I made reguarding macroing: I do not macro and/or make/program macros.

Well, yea, I see what your saying, and as that may be true, put this into perspective: WoW (Online MMORPG I'm sure you all know about) is able to charge $15 a month and have MORE users than Runescape. WoW has huge updates regularly, some people like, others people don't, but most stay to see what the new-ness is, and end up getting used to it. Runescape charges a minimal $5 a month and doesn't have as many players, Runescape, yes, would have to risk making large updates and possibly scaring away old users, but that could also ignite a new crowd to the game...We have very few large updates, one being the wilderness 3-round combat getting destroyed. At first, people may not have liked that, but they got used to it and not there is a whole new system to PKing. And about the game being young? That shouldn't matter. WoW is much younger than Runescape and has many more features including better graphics, different races, defigned clans, more items, etc...it has a more combat focused view than Runescape. And as you can see from the ammount of people playing each game and the ammount that each game charges, you can see that people are willing to pay more for that combat-based side as opposed to doing the same thing over again like you do in Runescape. Runescape (or Jagex) needs to be more liberal and look twords the future of MMORPGs and try to compete with WoW on levels other than the price, I admit, if I had $15 a month, I (and I'm sure many others) would play WoW over Runescape in a heartbeat because of their better features in combat, graphics and items. Their conservative aiming at getting new skills and new ways to get thoes skills up in a 'fun' way can't last forever. The customers decide the game, not the programmers. That's my view on large updates ;) EDIT: Minishcap92 is a prefect example. Read his siggy :) Something like "Used to play RS. Not anymore. WoW pwns!" -
he got it :P But at the same time started a smoking discussion, so I see no reason to say it was a bad thing. But again on the health...we all know smoking is bad...energy drinks dont help, neither does green tea, neither help your lungs in getting rid of the tar, they may help and have other positive benefits, but preventing cancer, weak lungs, etc...and most things that smoking causes...no. And smoking gives you more hemoglobin (sp? I didn't bother looking it up...you can look this fact up if you want...I'm 100% sure it's true though :) ) because when you smoke, your inhailing carbon monoxide which latches to your blood cells and doesn't let go, basically making that cell useless, the same happens with the exhaust from a car, wood's smoke, marijuana smoke, etc. When your body realizes that not as many of it's cells are carrying the oxygen, it's only choice is to make more, or you'll die of suffocation before you can believe. It's your body's way of keeping you from dying... Just setting some facts straight. But again, in my opinion, it's your choice and nobody elses, not your friends, not the people's in this thread, they can give you information that may help you make your decision, but dont let them have the final say, that's your job.

beer...bottles?...no... It would take a much higher proof alcohol to make something like that, beer would smash, put out the fire, and just leave a nasty bruse on them  But yea, they have cocktails in the gnome stronghold, and as it has been said by other players, another, similar item (idk...for a quest?) but sure, I have no problems with it besides it's possibly being overpowered-ness :)

Yea, if action was taken (not saying it should be nessarily) but it should be taken against you, not the thread. (No offence :P ) Not saying that anything should be done...eg. warning...that's bot mods/admins to decide, but I dont think your thread should be punished at all :) -
