  1. I'd say everying has to have competition or ballance, else that coorperation will control not only you and me, but possibly the government itself... Look back at the days of the huge steel industries in America, They had their own town, and even had their own currency that was paid to their employees...It was begining until the government finally stepped in.
  2. I wont go totally in depth on my beliefs, but I will say that no, it should be brought back... Killing someone for killing is hypocritical (in my opinion)...A life for a life, an eye for an eye. Killing is killing reguardless the reason. Think what you want, but that's what I have to say on the issue. :) Also keep in mind, some (insane) people are willing to give their own life for a "cause"...and personally, I life in prison seems a hell of a lot worse than an immediate death...assuming I would be going to heaven...if I thought I'd be going to hell...I'll admit, death is more intemidating, but I dont think people see how insane and convinced some people are that they're killing and possibly dying for a just cause, being it killing their wife, or going on a killing spree for fun...The same goes for the hell-sent plane hijackers of 9/11.
  3. if ("feathers" >= 1000) BuyItemAtStore ("feathers","Buy 10"); or something like that...idk, just fixing some Java :P an if statement doesn't have the action in it aswell, a normal example: if (This is said) do this; ;) Well, sorry to say your wrong, but your wrong...Until Jagex starts to make things impossibly to get...all a macro would have to do is change their click method...here are some possibilities... public void mousePressed(MouseEvent) public void mouseClicked(MouseEvent) public void mouseEntered(MouseEvent) public void mouseExited(MouseEvent) public void mouseReleased(MouseEvent) And then stear the mouse using x and y coords...I dont know exactly how they do it without having Runescape's source...gah...idk...but it's probably possible... http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial ... tener.html Just trying to educate some people on Java and how is can do anything...and how in this case, that simple fact is a major hindrance... (I dont think educating people on Java is against the rules...? If it is you can delete above...) But yea, I agree macroers suck, and when Jagex finally comes out and kills them all, life will be good in RS once again =D> ...For me it's thoes dang level 3 willow cutters! Their all over Draynor and even Port Sarim! I can only powercut in F2P down in...(I forget the name of the town) way under Falador! Edit for thoes just seeing this:
  4. Yea, I'd say it goes back to the fact that people have their own opinions and that there may be more than one view on an issue, some cant even be proven true or false, but that shouldn't mean someone doesn't have a right to debate it ;) Sure, that would work, a general debate forum for random issues, if Tip.it is willing to make one, I'm all for that... :)
  5. I'm not sure if this is aimed twords a specific thread like mine where I was one side and everyone else was another  ... But what I have to say about that is, well, I disagree even after being that one person. If a conspiracy can be disproved, it can be disproved, but if ti cannot, it can help learning in many areas around the conspiracy to help ones case for or against one opinion. I find conspiracy threads more mind opening than harmful myself. :P
  6. Hmmm, the other predictions seemed pretty specific to me. How come this very important one has two different options? If someone has predicted it, shouldn't they know whats going to happen? yes, and time travel and the siggestion that God himself might have written the Bible could be hints as to how someone would know this ;) Eh, I'd say as we recently in the past 5 years learned that the president has quite some power to declare the wars he wants... And then when you say that the American people could remove him before he caused too much damage...well...some people would say that Bush has too much power as it is right now, that declaring the war on Iraq was less for political as opposed to personal reasons. Debate it as we could, he's the only one who truely knows who he is. (same goes for everyone else)
  7. And this has been proven wrong when? Read this if you feel like learning about Bush being the antichrist... http://www.rense.com/general21/mabus.htm Anyway...back on topic... keep in mind that these are huge, less than 1/1,000,000 coincidences...not your every-day deja voo. I can see how people can see how coincidences can be misunderstood as truths, and see how they have been but so many is such a small chunk just seems unreal. And yes the Bible was written and compiled much after Jesus' death, but we dont know by who...some who take the more spiratual belief say that it could have been God, other say it was just some priests that got together and decided to take the stories of the deciples aswell as letters and other excerpts and add them into the Bible, this is another unexplained phinomina. one interpretation taking into account that only God knows the exact end could be interpreted by saying that once (if) the end is proven, it will come. Just throwing that view out there aswell.
  8. None of your "humerous" examples show any knowledge of what this is at all... here's a more accutate example of what something looked like...I can't make one off the top of my head, it's be too hard...anyway A--N--D--T--H--E--N--T--H--E--R--E--W--A--S--L--I--G--H--T where '-'s are characters making this a recognizable phrase...good luck filling in thoes dashs... And I heard about the apocolypse off of the History Channel's program...I dont know when it will show next, but if you are serious about wanting to learn, you can buy one or both sets of the show here: http://store.aetv.com/html/search/searc ... stid=43203 (Just click the link, idk why the last part appeared...) Nothing within the next two weeks though :? http://www.history.com/shows.do?action= ... wId=205727 Yes, I've both and own part I...both (in my opinion of course) were awesome...as are most things on the History Channel ;)
  9. I figured most would consider some of these so-called "Coincidences" that happened over and over many having chances with much less than 1/1,000,000 happening would be amazing either way. ^^That is statistically amazing, 1/1,000,000 is awesome let alone even less than that. I'm not sure many of you get this. You take something like 1-5 Bible verses and find words like "Chemical" "War" "Iraq" "Saddam" "He will be captured" and words all related to each other, using the same code, in 5 verses. Statistically amazing. Some people I dont believe watched the entirety of the video posted, watch it and you may learn a thing or two about it. Hopefully you now get that, aside of spiratually amazing, it is (to most) at least statistically amazing... Am I defending a theory that I think is false? Possibly. But I dont want a topic without two sides, it would be uninteresting, so I'm throwing out the other possible sides.
  10. Except they didn't get it out of "random"...they got it out of the Bible, the best selling book for over 3,000 years... Aparently you misunderstood me. You can take nearly any phrase and turn it into something that means something else using some varrying "code". It doesn't matter what they found it in. Just because the bible is the "best selling book for 3,000 years" doesn't mean that it automaticly can have "secret codes" hidden in it which "predict" the future, especialy considering it was MAN who wrote the bible. Did man write the Bible? We have no one author or any counts of an author. Many Christians believe it was God who actually wrote it...look it up, I promise you wont find any sure answers. And for all thoes who say "Ah! It was translated! therefor it HAS to be false!" Let me tell you. First, it was translated from Hebrew to Hebrew, it turned out as this, and was only then translated to English from Hebrew to be able to easily explain it in places such as The History Channel, The Discovery Channed, The Newspaper etc. All of the years found were found as they would have been written...i.e. 2012 isn't displayed as "2012" but something like '5684' or how they would write it. All verbs found were in the present tence Hebrew, NO codes were found in the past or future tence, so there's something to think about when saying codes can be found in anything, what happened to the future and past? Some say it was God who is timeless and included these codes. Keep in mind, this theory has been shown from many known places who wouldn't risk their reputation on simply disproved myths. I'm not saying it is right or law, but I'm saying at least try to look at it from the opposite perspective ;)
  11. Except they didn't get it out of "random"...they got it out of the Bible, the best selling book for over 3,000 years... Consider it what you want, I personally do find it amazing. :)
  12. If you talking about the 2012 part of what is said, it wasn't found by Christians nessarily, it was found by scientists, and people of many denominations, heck, even the site that I linked to it it's own individual religion... Yeah I know. I was just stating that there have been many predictions in the past. This is true, but still, it's crazy to think that situations like that happened by chance...some phrases over 40 letters long, some are 5 verses with 5 words relating to each other and yet found nowhere else in the bible... eh, personally it blows my mind.
  13. If you talking about the 2012 part of what is said, it wasn't found by Christians nessarily, it was found by scientists, and people of many denominations, heck, even the site that I linked to it it's own individual religion...
  14. eh, make fun of it all you'd like, I find it very interesting. according to "Bible Codes II" on The History Channel, the chances of having the full sentence on 9/11...I forget what it is now, it happened a couple mins ago, but it was 40 letters long... was 1/1000000 of it happening art any given point in the Bible. That's because you're constraining God within time. Oh Yea! that was another thing...everything de-coded was in the present tence, showing no time constraint! rofl, ty for jogging my memory :P
  15. Sure, but most (major) religions believe in an end, and believe that God (in one way or another) killed someone for some reason, be it sinning or saving. :)
  16. If you follow this theory, than yeah, I agree that God will choose the day when he sees fit. And will give us a few warnings to test humanity as a whole. Of course, I don't believe this, but if you do, this is a reasonable assumption. Assumption, Hell: To anyone who even reads the Bible, it's there in bolded red text! Christ Himself said it! It's undisputed fact that Christ said it. Any Christian who dares to claim when the Earth will end is a FALSE PROPHET! Amusingly, Christ's warning about false teachers is like 4 verses after the above! Uninformed Christians tick me off. When did I say I agreed with this, I just found it interesting, and based on the fact that this topic is getting a post/2min, many people are, I dont think curiosity is against Christianity... I dont know about you, but for me it's very hard for me to go throughout life and not once question something in the Bible...I could be alone there, and of course it is a sin (based on Christianity) so I ask for forgiveness and attempt to repent, but that doesn't mean amusement should be taken out of teh picture :
  17. Who says there even is a God? Proof please? 2 pages in > 40min, yes, there is a God \ :P
  18. I dont know, it's all based on your, personal beliefs. The only reason I thought of this is because I saw a show on The History Channel, I would consider this source that doesn't work with easily decredited issues or events... :)
  19. This doesn't nessarily correspond to the teachings of the bible...let that be noted aswell... ;)
  20. No way. Just because God knows what will happen doesn't mean He forced it to happen. Knowing != Causing. Yea, that can be a separate debate in itself, if God is perfect, doesn't that mean he knows the future? But he said we have free will...anyway...lets try to stay on topic ;)
  21. Keep in mind, all of these were found in the origional translations of the bible, all of this was decoded in hebrew and then translated to English, you cant go home to your bible and decode your English version for the reason you stated, words arn't always spelled the same way.
  22. This theory suggests that a code is in the Bible and it predicted many things. Interpret it how you want, I, personally dont know what I believe... I'm personally a Christian, and have nothing to do with Kabbalah, nor really know much about their religion, but they have the best example (flash) of these codes, so I'm using their site, these codes really have nothing to do with their religion, their just using it to advertise their religion because of...idk... This code "predicted" (keep in mind, the bible was made 3000+ years ago): The Holocaust 9/11 The War On Iraq Various bombings The washington snipers and also "predicts" the world's end in 2012 by asteriod or nuclear war...The Mayans also said that the world would end (more specifically) on Dec 12, 2012. And of course, back in 2012, I dont believe the Middle East had communications with the Americas... gah, I dont know, just watch the video and share your opinions! http://www.kabbalah.com/kabbalah/course ... bible.html NOTE - You can "Skip to Article" but can't "Continue"...you have to listen to the guy talk...but think of the bright side, you dont even have to read! :XD:
  23. First of all, I'd like to clearly note that I'm not for or against them at all, just decided to make an intelligent discussion (not to say that there arn't others here) But seeing as many people are seeing some of the more irrational steriotypes, here are some more rational ones...of course, as stated before, everyone is unique, and they don't apply to everyone, but continuing on...: Chinese aswell as girls are very smart. People who ride motorcycles are tough. Boys are more "daring" or "willing to take risks"...I'd find this true in most cases. Girls care more about the way they look than guys.
  24. Well, as stereotypes may offend many people, and may not be true for everyone, they're most likely there because most of a certain type of people have that trait in common...I wont name any because I dont want to offend anyone...but... Discuss... :)
  25. During your interview, your asked to demonstrate your skills, the computer fails, your blamed, and you dont get the job. I wish i could wish :anxious:
