  1. This guy will be the next Rsw44 in 2 years. Guaranteed.
  2. This guy reminds me of how Master_Smither used to act back when he first joined and got 99 Smithing. All he did was badmouth everyone else for not having 99 Smithing. Quite Laughable really.
  3. What makes this post disturbing is that it implies that you actually found Jagex humour funny at a point in time. I never found it to have much comedic merit, but I appreciated a corny joke once in awhile. This crap is just obnoxious.
  4. Yeah, the funny thing is that after that joke has been made, they still suck. I'm laughing it up.
  5. Why don't I find Jagex's humor lately very funny at all? This year has been horrible and then they make a video like this that explains the obvious.
  6. Looks like they fixed the members who couldn't log into their Adventurer's Log because they were "F2P" bug. I submitted a report yesterday too. Here's mine: 164 Days 8 Hours 130,869,042 XP 2000 Total Level. 33,181 XP/Hr. That's a lot less playing time and a lot more efficiency than I thought it would be since I've been playing for ~5 years on this account.
  7. Yes it's a bug. We're members and it's saying we're F2P. Happening to me as well.
  8. Post hoc ergo propter hoc, a logical fallacy which states that just because b came after a, does not mean that a caused b. The problem with this is that the states still have more control over drug control than the federal government, so even if the federal government legalizes, let's say medical marijuana, the states can still control and constrict supply and prescriptions enough to make it difficult to obtain. So, I take it today's English class was a very informative one, then? Don't be a douche. And besides, you're not even right on the subject. It's probably more of a Philosophy class than an English class.
  9. I bet you haven't enjoyed this game at all with that kind of work. Mine is telling me it's a members only feature. As I play a game of Castle Wars. Haha.
  10. Uh yeah, honey, I'm not pissed that you just infected me with HIV or anything. Just as long as we're together and we love each other! Get real, anyone would be super pissed. They just killed you.
  11. Runescape's gameplay is too slow for there to be a good TD game. Mobilizing Armies was kind of cool, but things just move too slow in RS for it to be fun.
  12. Gears of War and Call of Duty (after Finest Hour).
  13. Hahaha anyone who writes mainstream music in */16 is a moron.
  14. When I write in odd meters, it happens naturally. It's not: "Let's sit down and write something in 11". I can say I'm a fan of 9/8 and 10/8 when it comes to odd meters. Obviously it doesn't appeal to everybody, but I love writing a groove over an odd meter. Something you can still nod your head to, but doesn't become so complex that it just sounds like a mad rush of notes and rhythms. It's not writing in that meter just for the sake of being odd or different. I love the feel of compound and mixed meters. Last year our Wind Ensemble played a piece called Vesuvius by Frank Ticheli, and I just loved playing the 9/8 measures (even though it took us about three rehearsals just to get the counting down as an ensemble =\). I think quintuplets and quadruplets are true BS. Most of the time they sound unfitting, and they're a [female dog] to count in time. I played that in concert band my Sophomore year in High School. Awesome piece.

  16. I don't agree with that. It might help, but it's not a requirement. Sometimes songs can be made up almost randomly and still be very good. And I'm sure there's also been some great musicians who just picked up their instruments and made music without learning a thing about theory. But I guess it just boils down to opinion - your definition of good music might be different than mine. There are almost no artists that make it big that do not have a background in theory or classical. Even if a musician is playing something completely random their background and training bleeds into that whether or not it sounds like it or not.
  17. Same here. I think it's quite dull really, or at least the way my guitar teacher taught it to me, it seemed that way. If you don't know theory, you can't write good songs in my opinion. You have to know why to put a note or a beat in it's place before you write it.
  18. If you're going to write a song, you need to start from a musical standpoint first. What my guitarist and I do is develop some sort of rhythmic pattern that we like for the drums (since he is also a drummer), then he comes up with a one-tone pattern to go across the top of it that compliments my drumming pattern but is still different from mine. From there we decide what type of chord progression, picking style, distortion, delay, etc. goes on it. After that is decided, we bring in our bassist to write a solid moving bassline underneath all of it. If everyone is on board, we'll usually play on that idea for a few rehearsals until we've gone down every avenue that might spring from those original ideas. Typically we throw almost everything away that we come up with and hang on to the good bits. Throughout this whole process we usually get a feel for which emotion or idea is in our heads while writing and playing the ideas and the bassist and I sit down and come up with concepts for lyrics. Usually this process takes about a month if we're patient enough and do things right.
  19. So the 'you're' and 'your' will bug you, but the 'O' instead of 'Oh' doesn't bug you? To a lesser extent, but not as much as "your" and "you're".
  20. Also, I'm OCD on grammar, so could you please change the title from "your" to "you're" please?
