I am 51 and want to train to 70 for CSB. How much will I lose to 70?

Why ZS over SS? SS has more Str, which should matter more than Crush bonus.

Why are you trying to make them feel bad for you? They were simply stating that you're incredibly frequent questions were getting out of hand, no need to throw a fit. One of the most annoying things is people trying to make other people feel bad for them. And you think just because my post seems filled with guilt that I'm trying to make them feel bad for me? I am not. I just don't see how they can just ban me for posting advice that wasn't even bad. And what frequent questions? This isn't about that. How the hell did you calculate how much an ovl saves? I'm a little confused with the 47 is 2.5% better exp. If you keep doing fl 47 - don't keep getting the exp for 47 ticked off. You get a different floor with its base exp accounted for no? Reposting this as no one seems to have replied. :P Read the guidelines listed on the first post of this page. The guidelines on the first page don't mention anything about second binds, maybe you should read them. :P I'd keep the Gorg Plate till you get a Shadow Silk Hood. And don't even try to mention the guidelines, they don't say anything about second binds, which is what he's asking about. Ammo bind-wise, Fire_R_A_G_E effectively quoted word-for-word what your guidelines say, so maybe you should reread (or rewrite) them if you have a problem with the advice he was giving. He told me that my advice "wasn't as detailed as I would want." Not everything needs to be explained in full detail for the question to be answered. I don't see anyone complain on other threads about my advice so I don't see why DGS should.

Recent data on monster defense levels seems to indicate that most monsters don't have as low defense as we thought. To the point that rapier (especially promethium) might not actually dish out damage faster than a promethium 2h, even on a max level range zombie, which should be one of the lower defense monsters in the dungeoneering batch. This pigeonholes the rapier into a weapon that's useful for stabbing, and that's about it. For now, based on what data is available, I'm throwing my support behind gauntlets over rapier. Rapier all the way. CLS is only good for a few bosses/TDs and sucks for everything else.

If you don't mind the cost, you could train using Super Def or Super Restores to 85, then make like 1k Super Antifires, 3k Spec Restores (this should get you 88), then make 1k Extreme Atk and Str (the extreme atj should get you 89). If it doesn't get you 89, just make more Super Def/Restores.

Nothing is good at low levels, but they are the best you got.

Making armour is usually not needed as there are only a few bosses that need preparation.

I would use ToG and Penguin Points on DG until like 50/60.

Until 85 CB, I would train on Rock Crabs and Experiments. After 85 CB, get 35 Slayer and do Smoking Kills. Then train through Slayer.
