Well i've actually made a suggestion, it does require alot and im pretty sure will prevent most of those players using it, click the link in my signature for the return of zaros, it did take a while to sort out aswell. Yeh since the nerfing of it's special it's becoming less used for DKs :-k

The stats are that way because he took barrows armour and painted over them, so he can't really edit the bonuses. Though if he really tried he might be able to. Sounds intresting, and wouldn't lumbridge be the easiest seeing as it has a gate and all... :-k Actually i changed them a little made them better because i know that karils isn't that good, it's also more than just barrows :D. Yes i wasn't sure whether to base it on the number of people or the surroundings so i went for a mix, lumbridge was based on the number of guards there, none but i might reconsider that :-k

Well i suppose the extra publicity is bringing in the following: -Scammers -Hackers -Anoying people -More People using up more rescources and collecting them faster. -Good Players -Money for Jagex I Think it can be a good thing and a bad thing, more bad than good though. They really need more worlds.

Welcome Welcome to my suggestion, please take the time to post instead of just skimming through it. I appologize if the pictures do not work at first but i will make sure they do :) . Feel free to copy this onto any other forums you like, RSOF would be nice but i am perm banned from there. Background If you could not guess from the title this is a quest about zaros, you will need to have a done alot of quests related to him in order to even start this one let alone complete it. As we found out in various quests zamorack was once on Zaros' side but split away from him, there are numberous events that will spark a war, but that's for later on. The Waking Requirements -A Soul's Bane -A Tail of Two Cats -Desert Treasure -Hazeel Cult -Priest in Peril -The Digsite -Horror from the Deep -Dragon Slayer -Devious Minds -Druidic Ritual -Rune Mysteries -Tears of Guthix The Story You go to Bob the cat, he complains of dreadful nightmares of a dark evil approaching the land. He tells you he keeps waking up and shouting "He has awoken!", He asks you to try to figure out what is going on. You decide to go and ask Juna the snake about it. You can barely get anything out of her as she starts panicing and asks you to quickly go to the druids in Taverly and tell them that they must prepare. After a long journey to Taverly you talk to Sanfew, he also starts to panic but tells you that Bob's nightmares are caused by 'The Awakening'. He manages to mention Zaros a fair few times though which gives you as much as scare as it does Bob when you tell him. You decide to go in search of Juna again but she has disappeared and the cave has collapsed. You notice a smaller entrance further into the caves. You decide to go and investigate but before you get a chance to go very far into the cave you are attacked by a level 159 Zaros knight, prayer will not effect him. After defeating him you go further into the cave and find the Ring of Zaros. Quest Rewards 2 Quest Points 2 20,000 experience lamps for use on any skill Ring of Zaros Ring of Zaros The Ring of Zaros is used later on in the quest but also gives +4 prayer and has an effect on magic curses and increases the amount they decrease by by 5%. The Rising Requirements -The Waking The Story You go in search of Juna to show her the ring and to explore the cave complex. In here you will be attacked by level 170 ghosts, zombies, skeletons and necromancers. The caves are filled with [bleep]e straps, wall traps and many more traps and obstacles. You find that alot of the caves are blocked off and finally make your way to the altar in the digsite and decide to go in search of Azzandra to find out about this cave. After searching for a while for him you find him in the dark fortress in the wilderness. After talking to him he tells you that it is the cave where both Guthix and Zaros reside. Both of these have their caves specifically marked with their symbol. He tells you that if the guardians have gone then his 'lord' is free. You must go to check if the guardians of ice, blood, smoke and shadow are still guarding him. He also gives you a message on a tablet to slip under the door to zaros. To your horror, you get their and find that the cave is empty, there are no guardians at all. After slipping the tablet under the door five level 150 Zaros servants appear and drain all your prayer, prayer won't work here anyway. After defeating the Servants you run to the guthix room where the guthix statue sits, unguarded. You talk to the statue of how there are no guardians and that you were attacked by Zaros servants. The statue replies simply with, 'Then it is up to you'. Quest Rewards -20k Defence Xp -20k Strength Xp -20k Magic Xp -Access to the Guthix Rune Deposits The Return of Zaros Requirements -44 Herblore -65 Thieving -68 Crafting -50 Slayer -82 Magic The Story You must go to the Varrock Library in search of information about the Zaros, you find out that the Dragonkin were his servants and they returned to the Lands north of the wilderness, but they left their weakest 'Pet' behind because he fell into a cave and could not get out. You decide to find out what Zaros was last up to when he was at the digsite so you head over to the digsite and have a closer look at the temple you found there, after examining the temple you see a mark in the shape of the ancient staff, just as you're about the leave the temple you are attacked by a level 198 follower of Zaros, Prayer will not work here and you must prevent him Teleporting away. After defeating the Follower of Zaros you find a map of the whole of runescape with attack plans all over it. You decided to take the body of the Zaros Follower to the White knights in Falador as they are in the centre of alot of the attacks. They look at the map carefully and decide that the best thing to do would to be prepared for defence of the whole of runescape. You must take messages all over runescape to help them prepare for the battles ahead, but before you get a chance to leave the room you end up being attacked by two Followers of Zaros and a Level 380 Chaos Hound. After defeating them you have completed the quest. Quest Rewards -20k Herblore Xp -25K Defence Xp -20k Agility Xp -25kThieving Xp -20k Crafting Xp -5k Slayer Xp -Access to the 'Defence of Runescape' Mini-Game -1,500 chaos Runes Defence of Runescape This mini-game requires levels not in the quest to complete. This is a safe mini-game and you will not loose your items if you die, you will just spawn a while away from the base This Mini-Game can be done alone but it can also be done in teams, keep in mind that for each extra player ALL the monster's levels increase by 40. - Thanks for reminding me to put it in. In this Mini-Game you must take the order to prepare a Keep in the area mentioned to each race and town on runescape. The first time through you must either help build the Keep or to supply the Base materials for it, you will be attacked from time to time. Yep i just noticed something, rangers have to train 7 skills to get all of their weapons armour and ammo, yet they have the least variety of weapons, the number of skills needed is over double what melee needs. :?

Hello, I hope you enjoy this debate as I seem to enjoy these alot. I would like YOUR point of view, not just the way the debate swings point of view, this would benifit everyone, kind of anyway. Well anyway this is my opinion on the matter... Karils Well I'm sure that everyone find that agility really helps them in combat situations. No seriously if someone can find a serious use for this effect I will actually eat my own hat, I see no use for this effect other than for getting cakes. The coif is well, pathetic to put it one way. It claims to be a coif and facemask, trust me it doesn't work in the smokey well. Anyway the range attack bonus on it is quite pathetic, only +3, to put that into perspective you could wear half an archer helm to get the same attack bonus, and it would require lower levels aswell. The armour is okay but i believe it gives 35 bonus less than black dragonhide, this includes the attack bonuses. Although I'm sure it is useful against jellies and abberant spectres I don't see much use in the whole set myself. Really this needs completly re-working, there isn't a way around it. Magic Shortbow Well being perfectly honest this is more about the lack of ko power than just the magic shortbow special. The bow itself was in need of nerfing, it probably still would be if it had two specials now, but if a new bow were made that required something like a quest requiring 55 herblore with two specials would that be overpowered? In my opinon it wouldn't as pures would find it very hard to get hold of. It would be even better if the bow was high level aswell. Well as of now I believe range is lacking in ko ability, there is the msb special, which is quite hard to time right and that's about it for specials with ko. All that is needed is a level 70 bow requiring a quest or a defence level, and it has two specials that can ko. Crossbows Well these were great... for the first minute. The actual chance of hitting a 50 is the same as getting a d chain from dust devils, this has been tested. At one special every 30 shots as an average and the speed of a battleaxe the crossbow is hardly a weapon of choice. It averages at one special every 90 seconds I believe, thats one and a half minutes, and most fights last around that time. Basically the thing I see wrong with these is the speed, i'm fine with the special effects and everything apart from the speed, I don't even mind the inaccuracy. The speed as i see it needs only to be sped up to match or be a tiny bit worse than the other crossbows, not the metal ones. Updates Well most of these were cruel mockeries, I believe crossbows were the only actual effort made by jagex to sort something out last year, after that I think they just churned out the range updates every now and then to slow the flow of range rants on the official forums. Anyway not alot to say here. They just need to give out some nice updates once in a while, like the warriors guild, whip and ancients, to name a few. Range Guild This...This Thing is a mess, it doesn't deserve to be called a guild. Seriously it is pathetic, the only thing worth getting in there is the rune throwing axe is you're going to the DKs. It could really do with a nice dungeon requiring 60 range to enter, and a nice level 70 bow could be included to it, after doing a rather tedious mini-game of course. Edit: Longbows These are well, obsolite, they can't shoot as far as composite bows, they don't have as much accuracy as composite bows, they do the same damage and shoot at the same speed i believe, they even have the same special! Well really longbows should shoot further and be more powerful than the composite bows and a tiny bit slower, not much really to say about this. In conclusion Range guild is in need of a dungeon Karils needs a new effect and a better coif Crossbows need to be sped up Range needs more useful updates and less worthless updates Range needs a bow that can ko better than the msb. They anoy me so much i tend to just go to varrock yew trees and sit there reporting them for an hour or so, they really do anoy me that much.

I have to agree, i've been ranting on runescape official forums for six months about that, nothing was done. It hits alot but the amount it hits you wounder if it was worth firing an arrow for. Infact it's mainly the fact that jagex makes fun of that fact is what anoys me more. :boohoo:
