I just finished The Firemaker's Curse! The fire puzzles and boss fight were "tricky" and it took me over 4 hours to complete it but I finally did, lol. (Just an FYI: don't follow the suggestions for a Spottier Cape, Boots of Lightness, etc. - Jagex nerfed run energy not too long ago. Also don't worry about armour. Use the fastest Range or Mage weapon for your level (ie. Crystal Bow for lvl 70 Range, Attuned Crystal Bow for lvl 80 Range, Noxious Bow for lvl 90 Range, etc.)

Oh I will eventually get my Mage and Range up...currently I'm working on 95 Prayer and 99 Herblore, lol. Then 96 Summoning. :)

Yeah it's one of my favorite capes (outside of Slayer and Completionist (T), lol). I might train w/ ya'...just lemme know. I'll supply the Portable Wells! :)

Lol, I forgot I had an account here to post with. I just logged in to say well said, buddy. I completely agree with you. Botters are scumbags who cheat their way through the game and undermine everybody else's efforts and achievemens. But then again, so are bug abusers. And most of all, so are the players who buy spins and Bonds - particularly those who openly flaunt this fact and encourage other players to do the same. In this case, at the end of the day a botter got banned, and that is a good thing. The community seems to universally condemn this guy for his actions. But all I can do is laugh and shake my head when Jagex and fellow members of the community spout off about integrity and a fair, equal game experience for everybody. As if such a concept still exists in RS3... I wish more people adopted a mindset like yours and realized how ridiculous it is to support these botting witch-hunts and censure this kind of immoral acitivity, yet be completely fine with other immoral activities just because they are sanctioned by Jagex themselves (for their own financial gain, mind you). The hypocrisy is disgusting. This is one of the biggest reasons I continue to be an outspoken critic against Jagex and their policies at every opportunity. I don't support any form of cheating...however you can't lump buying Bonds and Spins in with bug abuse and botting. While I don't think we should be able to gain wealth in RS with real $, it happens in all games, not just RS. At least Jagex is making an effort to cut down on the sweatshops that are "farming gold" and the botters who were at one point taking over OSRS and RS2. It's wrong to assume that everyone is a hypocrite. P.S.: if you don't like how Jagex "polices" their game, you're free to find another MMORPG to play...there's a million others out there. I've yet to find any that are as fun and interesting as RS though. Best wishes. :)

Congrats on the lvls! Your stats are amazing!

Honestly I never use Range or Mage on tasks...lol. I prefer Melee, especially since my Mage and Range are low in comparison to my Melee stats.

Update: 68 Summoning: 76 Prayer: 77 Prayer: 78 Prayer: 79 Prayer: 80 Prayer: I should have 95 Prayer by the end of the week! :D

Oh wow, nice! :D We'll have to train to get 99 Herblore together! *Poundfist* I'm currently training to 95 Prayer...I went from 75-79 in a couple hours today. :) Should have 95 Prayer by the end of the week. Good point...once you get to 96 of any skill you may as well get 99 even though there's no intrinsic value in getting 99 for most skills outside of having a neat Skill Cape to add to the collection! :D

Thank you for the response! This is my current Slayer setup: Bandos, Slayer Helm (Tier 2), dual Drygore Maces, Warrior Ring, Amulet of Fury, Strength Cape (T), Penance Aura. I am currently using the Slayer Master in Shilo Village and my current task is 195 Dust Devils. I rarely skip tasks cuz it costs 30 Slayer points. Thank you once again for your info, it was helpful. :)

Wow nice! :D Any tips/tricks for how you train Slayer so fast? :) My immediate goal is 92 Slayer for Airuts as I got a Airut Helm as a Treasure Hunter reward a few months back.

I just realized I'm now 124 Combat...must have been the 4 lvls in Summoning that did it. :)

Update: I got 64 Summoning, 65 Summoning, 66 Summoning, and 67 Summoning! War Tortoises and 95 Prayer here I come!

Cheating is cheating. That's all I'm gonna say about that....

Aw man, I'm sorry. Herblore is pretty much all I did Double XP Weekend...I didn't get 96 Herblore until the this past Monday. I messed up on the Extremes and didn't make any Extreme Magic or Extreme Strength so it'll be awhile before I get 99. I encourage you to keep playing, though. Once I get the 3K Overloads made for 99 and start Boss Hunting I'll even be able to help you out. :)

Update: Yesterday I completed Within the Light and Love Story! Today I completed my 1st 100 Overloads! Tomorrow I'm probably going to complete The Elder Kiln. I almost have 95 Prayer banked! (I needed over 29K Dragon Bones - there's a 10K/4 hrs limit. I was able to buy 20K so far! Once I get the 29K+ Dragon Bones I will use my POH Gilded Altar w/ lit Burners until I use up the 900 Marrentills I have then I'll go to a official Gilded Altar World and do the rest! I've decided to nix my previous idea and just buy the needed Marrentills and allow others to use my POH while I get 95 Prayer. It'll save me much needed time. :) Once I get 95 Prayer I will do The Mighty Fall Quest! Happy 'Scaping! :D
