Yeah, I'm the same way. In other news, I've been playing Pokemon Zeta/Omicron. A ridiculously good fan-made game. Don't know if anyone else has posted it or played it or whatever. It's tiding me over before Ruby/Sapphire 2: Electric Boogaloo, though.

Bought Witcher 1 and 2 when they were on sale the other day and after a grueling 8-ish hour download I've been getting into the first. I'm loving it. I've only racked up about five hours of playtime (Add me on Steam, DanceFunkyDisco) and I'm still confused by all the things (Mostly alchemy and such). But I'm feeling a sense of adventure that's been lacking in the games I've played of late.

Mr. Crowley, by Ozzy Osbourne. Been playing Brutal Legend recently and this is on the soundtrack. The way they used this song in one of the cutscenes was brilliant, and I've been listening to it heaps.

Got a tad bored with grinding and capturing monsters in FFX (Not to mention attempting dodging), so I fired up Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood again. Wish I gave this one a proper go when I first bought it, 'cause it's pretty awesome. Not as good as 2 (Yet), but nearly there. Mostly skipping the story at the moment and essentially just doing all the little side things like buying items, getting treasures, renovating Rome. I loved that sort of stuff in 2 as well. Also Machiavelli is a smug arsehole. I don't like him.

Party Like Tomorrow is the End of the World, by Steel Panther (Skip to like 1:05 for the actual song, also, video is NSFW, but it's only boobs here and there, so yeah). Found these guys today (Thanks NSP) and I'm lovin' it. So silly and awesome.

I get 100+ dodges in and start analysing my pattern and then mess it up or get nervous and mess it up or the spot stops giving me lightning every time and I mess it up or do something stupid and mess it up. Will admit that the balloons were perfect for me, so I got that really easy, though.

I got incredibly lucky with the balloon layout. This lightning dodging, though, I'd rather do the chocobo race and aim for -30 seconds than do this.

Still on my FFX playthrough, mostly done sort of. I've got all but one Celestial weapon maxed out (Lulu and her lightning dodges are the worst), I have all the Aeons, and have captured probably 80% of all monsters. Finished Omega Dungeon tonight (With the amazing OP Magus Sisters' help) and attempted lightning dodges before stopping to preserve my remaining sanity. I'll finish the game, then I'll grind a ton to get my people truly unstoppable and probably re-finish it in that ultimate form.

Bought the HD Remake of Final Fantasy X/X-2 because I have a problem, and also every copy they sell means they might remake XII as well, and I want that more than anything. But yeah, I've just reached Home and am loving every moment. But this is the point where I'm lacking a party member and things get real. I'm attempting to get the Platinum trophy, but a couple of things are crazy hard, so that might not happen.

I've grown so close to you boy, and you just groan boy, she said come over, come over, she smiled at you boooooooy. Saying boy multiple times just reminded me of Born Slippy .NUXX, by Underworld. Excellent track. Also Trainspotting is an amazing movie.

Maestro, by Kaizers Orchestra. One of them weird foreign bands, big favourite of my ex-girlfriend. I have all of their albums on my computer, but only ever listen to a couple of their songs. This is probably my favourite.

Hatesong, by Porcupine Tree. Actually looked up Porcupine Tree after loving Steven Wilson's solo stuff for a while. And surprise, surprise, this is awesome too. This is currently my favourite of what I've heard.

My Mass Effect journey is well underway, I'd say I'm sorta mid-way now. I finished the first, cleaned up all the missions I could, except the boring fetch-qeust-type ones. Then I powered into the second and it's the only game I've played since I started it. I see how it was simplified and whatnot and I can see how people would not like that, but I kinda like it. All of the guns/upgrades were inconvenient and annoying to me, and I forgot what I had on people and I just stuck with Garrus and Tali full-time, because I knew they had the best of the best on them. This time around I'm picking a new crew for every new planet (Though I'm leaning towards Garrus/Thane, 'cause they're awesome). Though, I will agree with the badness of the simplification of the abilities, that one sucks. I liked the millions of options for that. Plus my biggest problem, forgetting to save, was fixed, it's silly and I'm a sook about it, but I forgot to save, died, and was back to the end of the planet. It turned me off the game, so I didn't play it for ages. But yeah.

So, Presidents of the United States of America released a new album. This is currently the best thing that's happened all year. They're my second favourite/first favourite band depending on the day/mood. Funky Tonight, by the John Butler Trio. I never give the John Butler Trio enough credit. I can't think of a single song of theirs that I don't enjoy. Even after they've gone more commercial and changed up the line-up, I still love them.

Nearly finished the first Mass Effect now, loving it. And apparently it gets better from here, or worse, so I don't even know, but I'm looking forward to 2 and 3 and being disappointed at the end! Yay! Also bought Monster Hunter 3 so my 3DS had another use other than Pokemon. Loving that as well, despite being thrown into the thick of it and not knowing what's going on. ALSO: If anyone wants a Steam key for either Guacamelee! or Fez, hit me up, 'cause I got 'em from the Humble Bundle and I already own 'em.

@Commodore: Yeah man. Bionicles are awesome. I've been thinking about setting up my entire lot on top of my desk for a while. For now, it'll just be Kardas and Makuta. Actually, I might get Vezon out. He needs to be with Kardas. @Tyler: I saw it at the shop and immediately fell in love and needed it. So I left and came back a week later and bought it. Excellent decision.

My boring set-up. [hide] (Minor brag, that's not even all of my PS2 games, I'm missing like 10 that my brother took to play in his room)[/hide] Go go boring laptop! Bought my lil' buddy a couple years back for cheap and he's served me well. Time and time again I psych myself up to buy a mad gaming PC, but time and time again I talk myself out of it or someone talks me out of it. Probably for the best because I don't really need it and do most of my gaming on PS3 anyway.

Luminol, by Steven Wilson. Probably my second favourite song of last year, off one of my favourite albums of last year and by the best artist I first discovered last year. So good. So good that I looked at my playcounts for songs and it sits miles above the rest.

I finally finished Hotline Miami yesterday. Excellent game backed up with an amazing soundtrack. I'll be buying the sequel as soon as it comes out, I'd imagine. Now I'm playing Thomas Was Alone. Loving it as well. Also, if anyone wants a gift code for Guacamelee! on Steam, you just let me know and I'll hook you up. I bought the Humble Bundle and I already own it.

Blue, by Sage Francis. Spent some time getting and organising Sage's mixtapes, and this is one hell of a track. It was the song that reminded me they existed and encouraged me to get them. I don't think any of the others on any of the mixtapes are as good as this, but I'm ready to be convinced otherwise. This is lead single of a new, proper album material.
