  1. Yeah, I thought that too. Excellent movie. On that note, now I can acquire it and re-watch it. If I was up to it I'd do a Blood and Ice Cream marathon, but I'm too lazy to watch movies today.
  2. Sister recommended it to me as an RS hint site when we first started playing. I eventually joined the forums years later not even knowing what a forum was. TNPW also tell the tale of how they found TIF.
  3. Nah. But I'm better. ALBEL, MY LOVE, WHERE ARE YOU?
  4. Welcome to what I guess will be the new format for my blog. Over recent weeks and months I've just not done enough to warrant a weekly thing, and I don't put much effort into it at all. So, hopefully, doing it this way will make me give more of a crap about it, but probably not. I don't even know why I still do these. Haha. Anyway, onto stuff. First up, I suppose, will be my SCROLL PIECES. Which, unfortunately, for the time being, I HAVE NONE LEFT TO GET. Cleaned up the last of the scroll pieces at some point this month and acquired that nice little max port score, you know, a few weeks before POP V2. BUT I DON'T CARE. Pretty damn awesome to see this lovely looking at me when I read my book. I'm very excited for POP V2. Unfortunately, it sounds like we're not getting the new adventurers I want, but having more stuff to shoot for (Past 100K in all resources, which is what I've opted for spending my time in my port doing) and do is very much welcome. So, I got lazy when Birthright of the Dwarves was released and gave up before the first little run through the Lava Flow Mine or whatever that place was. This month changed that, I got sick of seeing one quest left to do, so I set off and cleaned it up in a couple of days. I destroyed Grimmson and nearly took down Hreidmar once or twice, but got frustrated at the third or fourth attempt. My Chaotic Rapier seemed to have a little moment and I couldn't do as much damage as I had been. I yelled and got angry and ragequit that quest for a day. Came back with magic and annihilated them. I finished the quest, sure, but had no idea what the problem with my technique was, I didn't change it at all, I just wasn't doing the right damage. So after the quest, as I was sorting my bank, I saw my Rapier there. Degraded. Face met palm and I pieced it together. Ah well, quest cleared, and now I can finally get an Imcando Pickaxe! Man, I hope that's not annoying to do. And it's not! Hooray! Nice little shiny new thing, I'm gonna get a ton of Mining levels with this... Woo! But that means my Smithing level is out of sync with Mining, and I WILL NOT ST- Oh, cool. Man, that Artisans Workshop gives some pretty cool stuff for FashionScape, if only my Golden Cannon could become even MORE ridiculous. It can? Oh! Man, that's cool. If only I could use that cannon well, my Ranged level is pretty crap, comparitively. Hmmmm. Nah. I can't link the last two to that well enough, here's a couple of Divination levels for ya: And a nice shiny Dungeoneering level, freshly obtained this morning, just for you, yeah, you, you're cute, I like you, wanna go out for a coffee or something sometime? And that's about it. Unless I get something I'm particularly proud off, I'll just stick to monthly updates, I have way too many other games to play and RS no longer gets the attention it used to. Catch ya next time (Holy crap man, that'll be at the end of this year/start of the next, crap man, this year's gone way too fast, I don't like it), ~Dax.
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bbnTBqXk6o Book of the Month, by Lovage. Lovage's Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By is probably my favourite under-appreciated album. It's a shame very few people have heard it, 'cause it's so damn good.
  6. If there's any song to put me in a good mood, it's Walking on a Dream, by Empire of the Sun.

SO YEAH. FINALE WAS AMAZINGLY AWESOME AND PERFECT AND I LOVED IT. Did everyone else?
  8. 1,000 posts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3K1t0669no Every Day is Exactly the Same, by Nine Inch Nails. One of my favourite songs of all time.
  9. Bear Hug, by the 2 Bears. Haven't heard this one in a while. Incredibly catchy, and was the soundtrack to my walks to/from work back in the day.
  10. Fel del av garden, by Movits! The amount of awesome music that I've found on TIF astounds me.
  11. BORE. Bringin' dis game here back.
  12. Pokemon Y. Bought a DS for this and this alone. Well worth it. I've had it a couple weeks now, and I've already spent 27 hours on it. I haven't even beaten the last gym. I've just been takin' my time and enjoying the world. First proper time I've played a Pokemon game. I've played a lot of them on emulators, but this is the first time I've actually paid for it and whatnot. The Walking Dead: 400 Days DLC. I finally got a debit card of my own and went a little crazy buying stuff online. This was one of the things I got straight up, and completed straight up. Though not as good as the main story (It kinda helps when you're with Lee for so long), still awesome story telling. Loved all of the people in the group (Though only Vince and Bonnie were the only two to go with Tavia in the end). Powered through it and thought it was well worth the money I spent on it. This, along with the teaser is getting me hyped for Season 2. L.A. Noire. Again, part of my money spending. My brother bought the game on release, and I played it though and enjoyed it greatly. So I bought the season pass and the other DLC case and started another playthrough (100% this time, because why not). Enjoying it a lot more this time because I'm getting all the questions right and following the story. First time I played through I didn't care much, and this time I'm listening to what's going on and lovin' it. Stuff like who's on Monroe's payroll, sightings of the Black Dahlia killer and whatnot. Not keen for finding all the cars, though. That's gonna be a battle. And come Monday, I should likely have two more games in my collection, God of War: Ascension (Very excited to play this one) and Duke Nukem Forever (It was 10 bucks. lul). I love getting new games.

  15. I used to have an extensive knowledge of dinosaurs as a child. Did everyone have that? Now all I can think of is my Tyrunt that I want to evolve, but apparently can't unless it's day. Which it's not, so tomorrow it is. Not that Tyrunt is my favourite Pokemon, but TNPW post their favourite Pokemon, and why it is that way. Also it won't be Blaze, because we all know that already.

Huh. Completely forgot about that and saved there multiple times before Team Flare's Secret HQ. Lucky me, didn't get eaten by the glitch.

And we're back! After a week hiatus, which happens all the time, I've gone and done a blog entry. This fortnight, I acquired A LOT of levels, man, I couldn't even count them if I tried. Alas, they were mostly all on Pokemon. Oh yeah. The only problem is that THERE ARE TOO MANY COOL POKEMON, AND I CAN ONLY HAVE SIX ON MY TEAM. :c Anyway, RS STUFF: 76 Divination acquired, slowly getting there. 109 Dungeoneering, going up slower than in past, thanks to leaving my daily challenges open for both Divination and Dungeoneering. It'll be 120 one day. Now, I was impressed with this one. I still haven't finished the final Dwarf quest because I'm lazy and it's not that good so far. I reckon if they extended this and made it a bit harder, it could have been a solid hard or grandmaster quest. But if this is a sign of what to come, I'll be excited for the rest. I feel a bit phoney, though, siding with Seren, when I don't even really know her. Anyway, quite a good quest. So. Scroll pieces! YEAH! GEM-FINDING. DONE. TREE-SHAKING. DONE. ONLY EIGHT SCROLL PIECES TO GO. YEAH! That's all for now, catch you next time, ~Dax.

So I bought my first Nintendo console (3DS XL) today. And Pokemon Y to match it. Haven't got to the first gym yet, but I'm lovin' it so far. Chose Chespin because Chesnaught looks like he don't even care what your puny Greninja/Delphox gotta say 'bout nothin'.

Oh man. Varrick decided enough was enough and took this episode for himself. I loved him before, and love him even more now, even if I feel a bit betrayed. Excellent episode. Also Mako + Asami 4eva

  24. This. Always this.
  25. YEAH BOY. 73 DIVINATION. THAT MEANS OVER 1M TOTAL EXP IN THE NEW SKILL. YOU GUYS ARE ALL JEALOUS. So yeah. Stuff and stuff. I got nothing to say. I just remembered this and thought I'd better do something. Got 95 Ranged. This is looking like it'll be my last 99, to be honest. Magic levels naturally, but Ranged only gains exp rarely and I don't care to train it. AND SCROLL PIECES. VAMPYRISM. DONE. GEM-FINDING. NEARLY DONE. Not much more to go now! Woo! Catch you next time, ~Dax.
