I strongly suggest joining http://www.bikeforums.net, i use it regulary although mainly for mountain biking, road and general but occasionaly venture to the trials section. They are really helpful and could suggest some good places but you will find lots of online places to buy second hand bikes.

As an a fashion statement i seriously dont get it... As an australian i have just about always had a set, as have alot of people i know. however when they were worn it was just at night or something, wearing them out as fashion item would have been like going out in pajamas. Yet somehow someone has managed to make them cool. As a result of this it has meant that more people want them, therefore more factories have opened up overseas and many of the smaller manufacturers of higher quality ones have been forced to shut down. But hey i guess thats the way the world works...

Well it used to be like that... It provided a good way for people to clear training spots as well. I remember being challenged countless times when stealing nats in ardougne, all you had to do was carry a couple of super pots and you had the room all to yourself :D

Being australian i have heard alot about this trial and will be interested to hear the result (within a couple of hours) but it seems hard to believe that someone can have a fair trial when your judges barely understand what you are saying. Scary to think how easy it could be to get a life sentence Oh yeah just heard.. 25 years

Once again this is an opinion of someone who has read all the hitchikers series (and just about all the books written by douglas adams) but at first i was dissapointed by the movie and then i actually thought about the progression of the storyline in the books. Anyone who has read the books would know that the whole thing seems like it is a bit random but by the end of the 5th book would understand that it is only by then that everything is concluded. So really this movie was just made to take the major concept of book 1 (earth is a giantt computer) and conclude it by the end of book 1. So understandbly to do that they had to eliminate some of the things we love (thank god they left slartibartfast) but i still think it could have been improved to leave some of the more intricate parts.
