well as people gets rewarded for winning, maybe it can be seen as Jagex "transfering" junk to useable stuff... and yea it is only a brick in a building, but all in all i think that it is a good start tbh...

Well personally i guess this is just a little start... I think they will slowly make more ways to get rid of all that junk that is in the game... But then i again it is just a thought...

I just read the article on the RS frontpage about the new minigame, and something struck me. By making the new Commodities system players can now use the junk that is normally used in junk trades to pay for their armies in Mobilising Armies. Maybe this is Jagex way to try to get rid of some of those junk trades? and maybe it is only the first update in a larger scale? What do you guys think? Is this Jagex way of starting to get rid of junktrading?

well rs wasn't released until january 4th 2001 so i must admit i'm impressed that you have played longer than the game have existet :) Wait just one second. i thought rsc has been out since 2000?? Then they released rs2 later on?? nope rsc was released on january 4th 2001... rs2 wasn't out of beta before march 17th 2004...

Actually, no. I had heard negative weight was the same as 0 and assumed it was true. You know what they say though; when you make an assumption, you make an [wagon] of you and umption. I just tested it. I started at the Al Kharid palace and ran to Varrock East bank at 0 kilos; got there with 2 energy points remaining. Glory tele'd back, did it again at -9 kilos; got there with 0 energy points remaining. Statistically insignificant difference. 0 kilos is the same as -9 kilos. well that surprises me :/ but i have never checked it, just always felt it worked better... might be because i end up with a positive weight anyway when i have some stuff in my inventory...

i hated fatigue -.-' always had to waste an inventory slot on a sleeping bag...

Runescape wa indeed released on January 4th 2001. RS2 was released on march 17th 2004... I have been playing since spring 2002 just after P hats came out :P missed both scythe and bunny ears because i wasn't always on at the right times :( Still remembering how a friend and I went to the library every day after school because of the lack of internet at home :P

Having negative weight makes a huge difference... it will indeed make the energy drain alot slower...

It doesnt give accurate hits but stronger... lol My mistake... but the accuracy isn't bad either... +10% range also gives a fair accuracy bonus, however it is true that the bonuses that d'hide gives are better...

Void armour really gives you a nice bonus... the higher more accurate hits are well worth it, and you wont even waste the time it takes to get it... remember you can range while doing pc too :)

Ahaha yeah, and sold goblin mail to the general store for 16 gp each. yea and brass necklaces :) loved those days :P well my fav mem might be when male and female armour was different from each other... ect. u had to speak with some guy in varrock so he could change the looks on the armour... actually rather anoying if someone gives u a female black pl8 and u have to go all the way to varrock to change it :P But female plates were looking so good. I remember how unelegant I found the rs2 female platebodies. i totally agree :P thats y i mentioned them ^^. it was funny how you could c tha breasts clearly :P made a huge difference in the looks of males and females

just my words :D However i would love to see them put some of their great work into me3 and opening the elven gates... i think that questline needs another big quest... but of course... they shouldn't hesitate... they didn't in 2008 so i hope they don't in 2009 either :)

Unless they remove trade limits, this definitely will stay. For newly related items, the value changes every hour, I doubt Jagex can keep up with that. For super rare items (phats, 3a and those spirit shields ATM) the price range people trade those items for are way above 5%. And what about item lending, those almost all depend on junk items. So for those three reasons I don't think junk trading will become obsolete. It might not disappear totally but it will be reduced heavilly... mostly because by fixing the frozen items, there won't be alot of junk to use for the junk trades... Junk is only in existance because their prices are frozen too... Back on topic i totally agree with ts there... I have never been this happy with JaGeX before... they made huge improvements to the game this year... i have been playing since 2002 and they have never made anything as good as this year... just the graphics and new bank is enough to have made me happy tbh... People are being spoiled... but i believe most of those people are spoiled irl too... because they come into this game and believe they can do anything and that JaGeX are supposed to do everything for them... those people should really open their eyes and think about all the content JaGeX gives us...

Literally impossible unless u somehow manage to level it solely on genies etc. In which case, you'd waste even more of your life than the average player, just waiting for lamps! Best of luck tho... At this state of time it is not impossible anymore... by finding penguins every week and using all ginie lamps and free xp from quests u will be able to do it... however it will take you a very long time... my m8 pure kq pax is a lvl 3 pure with 64 slayer... he got most of the lvls before penguins And yes i would deffinetelly make a new account if i lost the one i have now... even after playing on this one for almost 7 years...

only reason i use ff instead of chrome is because of the addons not available to chrome... otherwise i would for sure use chrome :P it ROXX

no you can't get more then 1 at a time ;) You can get more then one at a time, but it is a hassle to do so. If you drop a clue you already have, then get a clue as a drop from the monster your killing, then pick the first clue up, you have 2 clues. ;) It doesn't allow you to pick the first one up. (The one you dropped) i have a screenie of 2 clues laying on the ground however it isn't possible to pick both up... you have to choose :P I would upload the pick but my external harddrive is at my friends house, and the pick is on the external harddrive -.- however i will try to post later :P

It can be worth it (economically) for some people. It all depends on wether if you are good at making money in another way... I for example have had my current clue scroll in the bank for around 9 months... because i am able to earn money in more efficient ways, and also i'd rather train my skills than hunt for money... and it isn't because i hvan't got any high price rewards... i have gotten robin hood hat and several other things.. but i just feel i have quicker and more efficient ways to earn cash

At the rune door in While Guthix Sleeps (The door with the inscription: Further Access Prohibited) you can tell what rune you have to use by searching the door and look at the phrase: Further Access Prohibited. 1 of the letters have been turned into a rune sign and that is the rune you will have to use. For example if the d at the end of the word prohibited is a waterdrop (like the one on a water rune) you will have to use a water rune. That way you can get past the door without the risk of getting attacked by a spell. - Dingse Danni

The thing in Updates with an Extra Change of Mindset about edgeville bank actually only apply to a few persons, namelly the tip.it'ers... for most other players it made a huge social inpact to the game... i met alot of new persons, some of them even the ones i talk to the most, because of the cc's... so for me it was a massive improvement... i never played in the tip.it homeworld so i can't say i know how it was there before but i can imagine it was extremelly nice way of meeting up with each other in that way so i understand the point of view the author is trying to share with us :)

the problem would be that the bunyip don't attack the mole, therefore it won't direct you in the direction it digs... and you won't be able to use tireless run scrolls so you will loose just as many gps on energy pots as you would by using that extra food...
