Manga/Anime Discussion
Well I kinda understand why people, companies in general, extend Animes to 500 ep +.It's to keep their audiences, mainly kids, watching and to bring in a new audience. The culpable animes are old ones like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh (for the love of god, Yugi isn't even the main character anymore) But the main pattern in these animes is the moral, something cheesy like "Don't ever give up" or "Friendship is forever", I applaud these animes for teaching people these good morals but the plot of the shows and goals are always ever winding. Shows like that never catch my attention, my anime cap is usually 60 episodes or so, and Animes which VIZ or Funimation touches will be long, boring to an extent, and of course cheesy. ONTOPIC: How is K-ON? I hear both good and bad things about it. I wanna watch it but I want to get someone else opinions.

Manga/Anime Discussion
Hmm I have fallen in love with Umi no naku koro ni and Seitokai no Ichizon! I never did like never ending Anime's like Fairy Tale and One Pice, in my mind once they finish their ORIGINAL GOAL story ends, none of this "and this happens next" or filler BS. Ash has defeated the Elite Four! END OF [bleep]ING STORY! That one guy and girl have managed to get into that Fairy Tale Guild! END OF [bleep]ING STORY! They rescued Rukia! END OF [bleep]ING STORY, THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

Well either way, the moment I posted "Give us a hint" 2 days have already passed so, you good sir learn how to [bleep]ing read. OT: It's a Yuyu Hakusho game?- Fansite Support (Re-launch)
Zybez stood up for what they wanted and this is what I get, I applaud Zybez for this. in all honesty, Yes, We trade some advertisements that do not affect our revenue for being game legal, and the occasional bit of content and interviews, we will be platinum here in a bit without changing anything else. It's a good day for our users IMO - buisness practices of jagex aside. Then I guess I buried my own grave. I had my facts all jumbled.....- Fansite Support (Re-launch)
I doubt anybody here actually cares about removing the ads itself, to be honest less ads=good. The problem most of us are having is that Tip.it has to give much a portion of its income in order to receive Jagex support(thus indirectly letting Jagex taking control). Now I doubt Jagex will one day completely take over Tip, it is just annoying to see something so trivial can cause a website to lose support. Ya I don't mind the ad removal at all. Infact I think its a good thing. Heck, I'd prefer if Jagex just payed Tipit and removed all the ads and replaced them with Runescape only ads. I have no problem with that. My question (or worry) is that if content on this fan-site will be treated as content that is produced in-game. I joke about things on this forum from time to time that would likley earn me a mute in-game if taken out of context. It has not happened yet, but would fear that it could happen in the future. DarkDude98 assured to me this would not be the case (ref page 4) and I will take his word for it, but do the other Admin's feel the same way? I would like to know if Mod Hohbein intends to treat content said on fansites as content said ingame or on Runescape Forums? I think this agreement is overall positive, I just have worries that it could turn negative for the community as a whole if it advances past a certain point. I am wondering the same thing about in game restrictions. Obviously as gamers we do not play only one game, if we wish to talk about other games(whatever it maybe), will we be muted because of this? Because really, players talking about other games in Runescape will probably have the same effect as players seeing gaming adverts on fan sites. Whoa whoa whoa. NOW that is too much power to Jagex! I would be pissed off they can do that. Jagex did not just ask to remove some ads, oh no that would be to trivial. But rather they asked for complete control of the ad's in exchange for some "perks". Is that really such a bad thing? I don't see this as being a slippery slope at all. How will you personally be hurt by Jagex deciding what is advertised on the website? I hate repeating myself, and I'm afraid I can't answer this question until I get some facts straight and hopefully Das will answer my question. As soon as Das answers my question I will address this one.- Fansite Support (Re-launch)

Yes, but the proposal Jagex ask could be less/more than at what we are now. Actually thinking now, that's a piece of evidence I don't have..... EDIT: Das, if your reading this could you please answer me this question. Is Jagex proposal better then what we have now?- Fansite Support (Re-launch)

Actually, no they weren't blacklisted for that. While I can't go into details, you do not have all of the information about that, and making statements like that when you don't have the evidence to back it up is quite silly. I believe the first post is sufficient evidence.- Fansite Support (Re-launch)
If letting Jagex control our ad's for acknowledgment, which comes with both positive and negative effects, then I say nay. I feel like this will soon give Jagex to much control over our community and in the near future it will result problems. We shouldn't let Jagex take control of us, no matter how small of a control it is.- Fansite Support (Re-launch)
Why should we let JaGeX control our ads? For some stupid perks? There's absolutely no reason why they should do this! We are a community, we are not property of JaGeX. In my eyes these perks seem more malignant than beneficial. - Real life pictures - 4
