Crossbow? Rigour? Maul? Arcane Stream? I wish that more overworld monsters were specifically weaker to Stab, Slash or Crush. That would easily solve this problem, as whip would be the one handed slash weapon of choice, and rapier would be the stab. Most of them do it just for the rapier.

You can do pretty much all quests except for kings ransom void stares back wgs etc. Also get 60 attack AFTER doing all those attack xp quests. For defence, you're alright as long as you avoid daero experience, olafs quest and holy grail. if you have any questions feel free to pop into the dgs clan chat to ask me or pm me on either of my accounts.

You can have a chaotic staff/crossbow too :P I have a 60 attack turmoil zerk and have both.

because for some reason xp is very slow at low levels

99 attack makes you fight 70+ def with turm etc and high attack isn't really that good. pretty much the only sensible options are either 60 attack or 80(with a chaotic)

I got this idea this morning - what about a sagittarian long/short w/ sag arrows, assuming there is no hex on the team? applications: taking out high mages perhaps (how does dps relate to a 2h?) clearing mages on the other side of bride/rope rooms etc Do you think that'd be a sensible third bind?

What I meant to say is that it hits a lot better at 99 than 60 attack. What about sag shortbow +sag arrows as 3rd bind?

About the spear, its stab option seems to be redundant (why'd you remove the rapier if it wouldnt?), which leaves crush and slash, in which both 2h and b axe excel because of the berserker ring. Primal maul might only be better on t11 rangers and maybe some bosses but crush only hits decent (I have experience with mauls ;) ) on bosses with next to no defence at all. Might be worth testing with 99 attack. I've only ever seen one other person with a maul, who bound a 2h shortly after when I told him his attack level wasn't low enough. On another note, I got 100 dungeoneering and a cele cat (I'm camping magic like a boss anyways, no brainer 3rd bind), but I need 1.8m more magic xp so I'm not dunging for a few days.

A zaryte bow degrades, so does every chaotic. Does it really matter in which way you lose the money? at some places, with todays prices, a hand cannon will actually cost less than rapier or the bow. A handcannon has a bad reliability though, whch chaotics and nex items do have.
