I'm quite obviously lonely right now, I just noticed that I was talking to my pets. But seriously, they're being obnoxious. The kitten was on the entertainment center trying to see the hamster in his cage and knocked down a speaker, which knocked down a tower fan. After I yelled at him (his name is Carlos), I looked outside to see that the dog peed on the sidewalk. I had to rinse that off, Finnegan isn't a smart dog. He jumped into the bush next to the front steps last night when he was trying to see me in the window. Animals...

My uncle has adopted one child in the past, she's from Guatemala, now they're going through the foster care system in California because he's over 40 and most adoptions in Guatemala were shut down shortly after they adopted I think

Everyone has been putting their memories of the classmate of mine who took his own life on his Facebook page, I finally got around to adding mine. June 10-12 is still surreal - fun grad parties with friends, to mourning the loss of our friend and classmate at a teacher's home at 3 AM, to taking pictures with friends before graduation nine hours later, to hearing the principal read the speech our friend was supposed to give in his place, to graduating, to seeing my best friend graduate at her school, to the senior party, to my grad party, to going on Facebook and seeing too many posts of RIP, constantly reminding us of reality. It's early Thursday now and I still don't feel like last weekend was real. Excuse my run-on

For conversation, I don't use email unless it's formal, as others have said. The last people I emailed were 1)a teacher, in order to get pictures for the yearbook, and 2)an aunt, in order to get addresses of relatives. Otherwise, I do receive newsletters, school things, and most recently my e-tickets for my next vacation, but I use Facebook and texting for as much as I can. I used to keep email to correspond with my online friends, but I've lost them.

My uncle is adopting another kid probably by the end of the year

This, my dad did this once, lost his temper. He was under stress because we were waiting for my mom's delayed flight to come in after Christmas, but it scared me and it was embarrassing that he overreacted that way. Nobody gets anything out of that situation.
