I'd estimate dragon scales to be around 350k an hour. Green dragons and Aviansies are around that as well.

Aviansies or Green Dragons are your two best methods. Alternately, you could collect blue dragon scales in Taverly Dungeon. Use the agility shortcut to get right to the dragons, don't forget your anti dragon shield!

99 crafting is pretty respectable, I belive that you can get 99 with 21m, but you'll need to use SC needles.

qu, if you are running double nats, then this is how you do it. Find a way of transport to near Shilo Village. Don't forget your nature tiara/ talisman. get into the altar and find someone saying something along the lines of: "open 2x!". Request assistance, and if they accept: Craft your natures and then bank in shilo village, bring more ess.

Also, you can't attack Aviansies with melee, that's another bad thing.

I'd say Soul Wars. You get full exp from fighting the monsters in there, as well as the exp from the zeal. Soul Wars gives more exp at higher levels.

Safespoting Thzaar monsters is great. The onyx bolt tips add up, and the capes, mauls, and shields aren't very rare either.

Prayer method and tanking method at aviansies are both awesome ways to make money and train range. There are many alternatives, such as Yaks, Fire Giants, Thzaar monsters, using Chinchompas, and as Ray said, Soul Wars is awesome. You get full exp for fighting and then you can use zeal for more exp, sort of how like Pest Control used to be.

I'd suggest a mitre over Dagonhai hat for using the maging prayer method, as Dagon hat gives no prayer bonus. Great guide!

I agree with you that it has many benefits and may be less boring. On my account I'm stopping at 55 slayer for broad bolts. but the truth is that time is money. The less time spent on slayer means more money and combat levels.

I've decided to make a guide about this method of fast experience, since many people do not know about it. What's so good about this method? It gets easy 35-45k exp and hour(depends highly on fishing level and location of Rasalo), is semi-afkable, and has no requirements other than a fly fishing rod, 20+ fishing, and feathers! I don't see you point? Slayer is a good way to train stuff. Who really wants to camp at creatures hours on end? Not me... His point is that if you only want combat xp, and that's the only thing you want, slayer isn't the best option. However if you want fun, variety, and an OVERALL better benefit, slayer is the way to go. Slayer,to be truthful, is a waste of time. It's not really variety, you're still doing what you always to in runescape:grind. Just grinding in a different way. It's better if you grind more effeciently.

Thzaar ARE great. Bolt tips are 7k each, and are quite common. Not to mention Obsidian capes, mauls, and sheilds aren't that rare either. I got a cape within 50 kills. Next trip a maul on around 63rd kill. Not to mention the bolt tips add up.
