Thanks zaaps. i've never really had a decent mining level, so I wanted to go for 85 so I could make some cash rune mining too.

Your goal is worth nothing if you spend you whole life working for it. Unless i'm about to die my life isn't 130-170 hours long. I'm going to try to get this by next Thursday

I got 60-87 woodcutting solely on yews on my alt(f2p). I never give up.

How long do you think it would take for 85 mining from 41? I've heard powermining iron is around 35k/hr exp. Is 85 mining worth it?

Oooh, you got kent on you now. ;) I'd reccomend the ring of wealth. Even if it doesn't work as some people say, it gives you a lucky feeling when wearing it so you'll be motivated to keep killing.

I'd stick with bandos solo. More fun, and could save you time by getting lucky.
