  1. That's why I don't play in a raiding guild, and focus on PvP. I have zero schedules and zero expectations of me. I can raid whenever I want because I can just PUG. Sure, a raiding guild can be fun but I find it boring. If I don't want to play, I don't. :P
  2. http://www.wowinsider.com/2009/03/18/ti ... #c17748068 T8 set bonuses...wow. Some of them are probably typos though, especially this: # DPS 2Piece Bonus -- Heroic Strike and Slam critical strikes have a chance to grant you 150% haste rating for 5 sec. # DPS 4Piece Bonus -- Increases the critical strike chance of Mortal Strike and Bloodthirst by 10%. I somehow doubt blizzard will give warriors a 150% haste rating proc, haha. Still really nice bonuses.
  3. Yeah it's a shadow, from a mountain or object in the back there no doubt.
  4. Lol do you not want them to know you came back? See if there is a mod to do that maybe.
  5. Depends on the player. If I see an ally, I'll attack them. Most of the time it doesn't matter what level they are. Am I the only one who felt like a complete [bleep] killing people who were questing etc? I always just remembered how much I hated those long corpse runs myself. I was also awful at PvP, so even if I tried I would probably have lost most of the time. Been thinking about getting back to WoW this past week. Haven't played since November, and I didn't think I'd ever go back to it. Damn this thread for making me consider it. Well I usually don't attack someone if they're gray to me these days, because it's a waste of time mostly. But really I don't care if someone is questing. Granted if I want a good fight I'll wait for them to eat up, or try and get them to heal up (/taunt, /beckon). Otherwise it's a PvP server for a reason, and I take any chance I can get to get in on it. I'm sure some people think I'm crazy though when they see a warrior charging two same level players, or a DK who is 5 levels higher than him. What can I say though, I love PvP. Even getting camped is just another challenge to get by, and I'm sure some people think I'm odd when I'll try and fight them (use all my CD's and such) even if they were red. The way I see it a 2 minute corpse run is nothing compared to the death penalty when I played Lineage II, and I still was fairly aggressive in that game.
  6. I knew this was in one of the runescape oriented sections when I read the first two pages. Ugh
  7. Nintendo(all brands) Mario 1 for NES I guess? Playstation(all brands) Never owned a playstation Xbox(all brands) I don't remember. Gameboy(all brands) Zelda: Links Awakening... maybe Sega First sega system I owned was a Saturn, so probably Nights or something. Computer Either some bugs bunny game or any number of DOS games. I don't remember what my first was, I was like 3 years old lol. I don't remember a lot of these so they are just guesses.
  8. Depends on the player. If I see an ally, I'll attack them. Most of the time it doesn't matter what level they are.
  9. That would be a PvP server. Just keep in mind that after level 30 pretty much every zone you'll level in is a cross faction zone and contested.
  10. Saxon- Denim and Leather
  11. We're all very split up. If you're interested in a PvP US server than Me, Lionheart and Riku (haven't seen him in a while though) are on that server. That's only if you like PvP though, because it's open world PvP so you will get ganked. And we're horde.
  12. I could name 80 of them. Now, given, some of them I couldn't remember their full name but I knew what exact game they were from. [hide=spoiler]Like for example N I don't know the name of, but I know it's the chick from the canceled game "starcraft:Ghost"[/hide]
  13. Everyone is just going to say they wouldn't do it in this thread, but statistically speaking most would. Anyways it is an interesting experiment. Not sure how I would do.
  14. Oh. I could change the lighting up yeah. It's not like I painted it or placed it there though.
  15. It is not as good as blender. IMO Is that a joke? Also I just realized I can use height maps with 3DSM probably. I used to use them all the time in Terragen as a base for the terrain, because they are incredibly realistic and are a great starting point. Now I just need to learn the ins and outs of the material editor.
  16. It doesn't really use layers, at least not in the way Photoshop does. If it does use them it is for purely organizational purposes. I assume you are asking if I could get rid of the use of photoshop all together and technically, yeah, I could. I could probably get a decent result with better lighting and such. However photoshop really helps to get a more favorable result if the product is just going to be a still image. Of course 3DSM is very much able to stand alone and look great too. Anyways I'm thinking I may try and learn the Unreal engine (UT3's map editor) because it allows for communication with 3D Studio max. It would be great to work on my own map at an artistic level. :)
  17. Yeah I'm trying to figure out how to emulate a real sun, this scene just has a spot light pointing to it so not so great in that regard. :) I'll be sure to turn AA up to next render so it isn't blurry.
  18. Well, I think the UI is a lot better, but I never really used blender. http://www.3dm3.com/ http://www.noupe.com/tutorial/25-3d-stu ... urces.html http://www.cgarena.com/freestuff/tutori ... rials.html Some good tutorial sites. :)
  19. Yeah they're pretty useful. I'm trying to figure a better spot to place them though, they're kind of off on their own there. edit: dinged 74 on my warrior, respeced so I could get 2/3 in deep wounds. Recount - Damage Done for Master's Training Dummy 23:42:49-23:47:25 1. Gatoraide 474040 (1732.5, 100%) Testing AoE DPS (3 mobs) for about 5 minutes. Deep wounds was 9% of my damage even though I only have 26% crit (31% with rampage) and 2/3 deep wounds. :)
  20. Lots and lots of money. :^o edit: Lightened up the shadow. One of the few times the "Lighten" mode in Photoshop has come in handy for me lol.
  21. Yeah the shadow is bugging the crap out of me too. I think I can actually tone it down, have photoshop closed atm though so too lazy to. D: I'm still pretty new to render settings and such in 3DSM, so I think next time I can get a higher quality render.
  22. Heal people. D:
  23. Blender: Free open source program 3D studio max: $5,000 (or so) program used by professionals in the industry. :)
  24. I used This tutorial for learning how to do this. V1 V2 So, realism aside (because I know this is a pretty unrealistic landscape) what do you guy's think? I'm not sure if it can compare to my terragen work yet, but I have a lot more power in 3D studio max to do what I want. Trees, buildings, whatever are all within my reach now.
  25. It's really nice actually. For such a short amount of doing this you're getting good. :) Good flow.
