  1. Yeah, Pixar quality stuff is incredible. On the same note looking at some top notch games can really inspire someone. Blizzards work, Valve's work (TF2 especially is wonderful) and others can give you a good idea of crazy good artistic style in a video game.
  2. Could you recommend a few with the fee then? :P Depends what you are interested in man. Although I don't think there are that many good MMORPG's out right now, ton coming in 2009 though.
  3. have fun playing with like no one, lol.

  5. Any MMORPG worth it's weight is going to have a $15/mo subscription fee.
  6. Aphex Twin- Ageispolis
  7. ^ At least their voices are consistent, unlike a 13 year old. Halo certainly was not the first online FPS for console, it was done already on the Dreamcast (which was short lived sadly.). However, it was one of the only decent launch titles on the xbox and, thus, got a lot of coverage. The game is this generations Goldeneye 64, like I said before. If you went back and played goldeneye you'd realize it was not THAT good of a game, it was just a fun time. Likewise people enjoy Halo but by all means is it not a great game, it's merely an ok game. It is polished, but beyond that it's just not really special. As far as half life went on innovation, I could go on. But let's just say that you can easily draw a line between "pre half-life" and "Post Half-life" games. If you did the same thing with halo (look at games before it, and then after it in the genre) you would not get the same results. Halo hasn't really shaken up the industry at all, except for making console gaming more appealing and popular.
  8. Man, talk about flame bait. Halo is a perfect example of a perfect mediocre game. I would compare it to Goldeneye almost (even though I did think goldeneye did "revolutionize" a good bit of console FPS's) just because its an average game with average multiplayer on a console and in an age where there just aren't that many choices. Also there is a difference between innovation and invention. Doom and Wolfenstein 3D (technicly) invented FPS's. The most innovative FPS by far has been Half Life. And I do like how the 13 year olds try and downplay it to a bunch of annoying 9 year olds, when it is actually a bunch of annoying 13-16 year olds. Either way it's just Ugozima being his normal self. No, really, it's cool to like Doom and Wolf 3D in an age where we have better choices out there. Ultimate Doom and Doom II are still wonderful games but times have moved on and most of their mechanics are archaic in nature. Half Life I do think has aged wonderfully for a 10 year old game though.
  9. Maybe I was wrong, can't find anything about it anywhere. Could have sworn it was them though. Maybe it is some other band. Santolla is a practicing Roman Catholic, which has caused controversy with Deicide fans, many of whom are against Christianity and are aware of frontman Glen Benton's open Satanism. Many were surprised that Benton even let Santolla join the band, due to his frequent criticism of the religion. Heh I knew it! Must have missed that on wiki. :P
  10. Megadeth- Elysian Fields
  11. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. I spend what seemed like hundreds of hours getting through the game, getting to the last boss. I'm at the last boss and, somewhere along the road of my day at school, I lose the GBA and it gets stolen. Yeah, so [bleep]ing pissed. Game was great too but never got to see the ending!

Infected really need to work together or you will get destroyed. Same as humans. :P
  13. I thought the music fit it, go figure.

Sounds lame, not sure if you could get banned or not though.

  16. Don't forget Deicide. But seriously, Legion is a killer album whether you agree with the lyrics or not. Isn't one of the dudes in Decide christian anyways? Just tell him it's a Christian metal band, not like he'll know the difference.
  17. Get a good balance of it. You need int for spell crit and mana, but it's nice to have that extra damage. I would say that I prefer spell damage personaly, although I have evened it out in later levels. I.E right now I have +88 INT and +93 spell power. And don't totally neglect stam either.

  21. Maybe a little bit, at least it sounds similar.
  22. It just adds it, so 56%. ps: speaking of handling multiple mobs, just handled a 7 pull as frost.. and I don't even have the blizzard snare. :P Was full of casters/ranged/melee too. pss: My character sheet on the armory if you are curious of what gear / spec I use.
  23. That's kind of what I feared... This computer has been a pain in my [wagon] so far. Thanks for the help.
  24. UPDATE: Just tried the RAM, no go. Switched out every piece into the 1st slot with no go. I noticed that sometimes the motherboard (especially when I only had 1 stick and not 4 in) would run for 5 seconds, then turn off and then turn back on (and stay like that). It still doesn't show anything on the monitor (Sleep mode still) but I thought it was odd. When all 4 sticks were back it didn't do it anymore? :?
