If I have a Ring of Wealth equipped, does it increase, decrease, or have no effect on my chances of getting a defender? I heard that some items are counted as normal drops and have their drop rates decreased with a Ring of Wealth equipped.

Yes. Cyclops are easy to kill, with enough time to wait for a drop you'll be fine.

Lol, I don't care what they think. I train my stats to get my combat level up, not keep it down ;) I just never expected to be mocked for having the best weapon in the game :P

ok, I duel alot. I wilderness PK occasionally, but until something happened earlier today I never felt like writing this.... I use prayer, I'm a prayer noob. I have defence, I'm a def noob I use snare and a god spell, I'm a mage noob. I train range, I'm a range noob Today tops it though, I bought a whip earlier. I loved it. But when I went into the warriors guild I was called a *gasp* Attack noob? Is this one new? Yes, I'm a level 75 with a whip. I worked hard getting the money and xp for it. [at them] Go play with your mauls, and scimitars. I have a whip, get over it.[/at them].:P Is "attack noob" new? Seriously, I thought this was a skill that I couldn't get mocked for training. :P So, is strength becoming the only stat that is safe to train?

I tried out mithril and black, its better with mithril I think (I couldn't finish the test because the black broke). I also tried killing the mithril with a Halberd, it took twice as long. Theres cheap food and potions nearby so its no big deal if I get hit.

Thank guthix, I logged on and my character is safe and sound. Standing there with his whip, just like I left him. :)

Nah, put the minigame stuff in the basement. Put the stuff YOU will use on the first floor. It would be really annoying to have to go upstairs to use your portals, alter, or mounted glory. I also reccomend that you keep your workshop on the first floor for future leveling. Think about what you use most, and put that near your portal.

Adding on to that, some countries that eat insects or other "unusual" things (like dogs) consider killing cows morally wrong. Cultural Differences FTW!

But my halberd is only rune, I could just use a whip couldn't I?

Lol, shooing a dog is animal abuse... Get this, before I did the fishing contest quest, I KILLED dogs almost every day. No one complained about that. And who would hang out with a stray dog? It might give you flees or AIDS or something. :P
