  20. Table of contents 1.0 Table of contents 1.1 Introduction 2.0 The brewery's 2.1 The Ingredients 3.0 The Good Stuff 3.1 Making the good stuff 4.0 My beer research 4.1 Getting Drunk! 4.2-Most Useful Brews 1.1-Interdiction Well this is a missunderstood part of the game not only for it low amount of cooking exp it gives, but most people don't brew beer. This guide will have all of what you need to know about brewing and the beers that come from it. Why should one brew his own beer? well its simple and takes little effort and you can be proud that you have made your own beer also you could also get lucky and get some mature ales which are uncommon. 2.0-The brewery's Keldagrim Fastest way there is to take the GrandExchange trapdoor and go north from the carts. Port Phasmatys Fastest way to this brewery is ectophial then go south into the city and the brewing vat is under the trap door on the east side of the bar. A full brewing trip takes around 10 mins to harvest and re-start the fermenting process again. Here is the setup i use when checking on brews. The reason i use kegs instead of glasses you can put mature ale into the beer glasses after the run. so using kegs to harvest beer is quick because you don't have to bank for glasses/supplies. 2.1-The Ingredients The Main Ingredients The beer glass's and calquat kegs: From one vat of fully fermented brew you can get either 2 full calquat kegs(4) or 8 glass's of beer. The barley malt comes from cooking barley on a range, you will need 2 barley malt's for each vat of beer you plan on making. The ale yeast is the very last thing you add to your vat and one of the most forgotten ingredients, you can get the yeast by having a empty pot and 25gp or 5 eco tockens and talking to either Blandebir in Keldagrim(25gp) or Metarialus in Port Phasmatys(5 ecto tokens). The buckets of water come from using buckets on a sink/water pump or any source of water, you also need 2 per vat you plan on making. The Secondary Ingredients These are the ingredients that decide what beer will be made The stuff and PoE This is a extra item that you can add to your brews to give them a 50% better chance at becoming mature ales. you can buy them from Honest Jimmy at the trouble brewing game for 5 pieces of eight(PoE) per. 3.0-The Good Stuff Apple mush What it makes: Cider or Cider(m) Cooking Level required:14 How to get: Step one: Use the cooking apples with the apple barrel (which can be found near a fermenting vat) and your character will begin to squash the apples. Step Two: After the apples are squashed, the mush will automatically be collected into your empty bucket. How many per vat: 4 Buckets of mush per vat. Hammerstone hops What it makes: Dwarven Stout or Dwarven Stout(m) Cooking Level required: 19 How to get: Farming(lvl 4) or buying from another player(GE) How many per vat: 4 Hammerstone hops per vat. Asgarnian hops What it makes: Asgarnian Ale or Asgarnian Ale(m) Cooking Level required: 24 How to get: Farming(lvl 8) or buying from another player(GE) How many per vat: 4 Asgarnian hops per vat. Clean Harralander What it makes: Greenman's Ale or Greenman's Ale(m) Cooking Level required: 29 How to get: farming(lvl 26) harralander seeds, monster drops, or buying from other players(GE) How many per vat: 4 CLean Harralander per vat Yanillian hops What it makes: Wizard's Mind Bomb or Mature wmb Cooking Level required: 34 How to get: Farming(lvl 16) or buying from another player(GE) How many per vat: 4 Yanillian hops per vat. Krandorian hops What it makes: Dragon Bitter or Dragon Bitter(m) Cooking Level required: 39 How to get: Farming(lvl 21) or Buying from another players(GE) How many per vat: 4 Krandorian hops per vat. Mushroom's or "bittercap mushrooms" What it makes: Moonlight mead or Moonlight mead(m) Cooking Level required: 44 How to get: farming or buying from other players(GE) How Many per vat: 4 Mushroom per vat Oak Roots What it makes: Axeman's Folly or Axeman's Folly(m) Cooking Level required: 49 How to get: farming oak trees and digging up stump or bought from another player(GE) How many per vat: 1 Oak root per vat. Chocolate dust What it makes: Chef's Delight or Chef's Delight(m) Cooking Level required: 54 How to get: + = How many per vat: 4 chocolate dust per vat. Wildblood hops What it makes: Slayer's Respite or Slayer's Respite(m) Cooking Level required: 59 How to get: Farming(lvl 28) or Buying from another player(GE) How many per vat: 4 Wildblood hops per vat. 3.1-Making the good stuff Ok now that you have your supplies and are ready to strat brewing your own beer there are a few easy steps you have to take. Bring the following inventory if you plan on making cider: or First, add the buckets of apple mush to the fermenting vat. Add a pot of ale yeast Now sit back and wait. You CANNOT use the stuff for cider. Bring the following inventory if you plan on making ANY type of ale. Add two buckets of water to a fermenting vat. Add two lots of barley malt (this is made by using barley on a Cooking range) to the fermenting vat. Add the stuff now if you plan on adding it. Add the main ingredient to the fermenting vat. Lastly, add a pot of ale yeast. Wait for several days (depending on the type of drink you are brewing). Turn the valve to let the liquid run into the barrel. Now simply use either a calquat keg or a beer glass on the barrel to empty the contents. 4.0-My beer research Here is going to log my brewing research the goal of this section is to get myself and other to understand the brewing process better.the two main things that i want to get out of this is a window period of how long it takes ea brew to go from fermenter to harvesting time and the other thing is to get all off the brews at there different stages of color. Brewing Stages Just like plants for farming each beer ferments in stages here will be the pictures of the brewing stages to help you know how much longer your beer might have before it will fully mature so you can harvest it. Water and barley malt Bad Ale Here are the stages of the fermentation of the different brews that you can make. [hide=Cider] Cider Final stage [/hide] [hide=Dwarven Stout] Dwarven Stout Final stage Dwarven Stout Final stage(mature) [/hide] [hide=Asgarnian Ale] Asgarnian Ale Final stage Asgarnian Ale Final stage(mature) [/hide] [hide=Greenman's Ale] Greenman's Ale Final stage(mature) [/hide] [hide=Wizard Mind Bomb] Wizard Mind Bomb Final stage(mature) [/hide] [hide=Dragon Bitter] Dragon Bitter Final Stage Dragon Bitter Final Stage(mature) [/hide] [hide=Moonlight Mead] Moonlight Mead Final stage Moonlight Mead Final stage(mature) [/hide] [hide=Axeman's Folly] Axeman's Folly Final stage Axeman's Folly Final stage(mature) [/hide] [hide=Chef's Delight] Chef's Delight Final stage(mature) [/hide] [hide=Slayer's Respite] Slayer's Respite Final stage Slayer's Respite Final stage(mature) [/hide] Time for brewing- the brewing times are a guess on an average that i check 1-2 times a day to see what stage the beer is at and from that i can tell how long it takes from stage 1-2 and then the same time from 2-3 there. there are only 3 stages for each brew before you can harvest you brew. These have 12-14 hours per stage and there is 3 stages you can harvest these on a every other day basis. ~Greenman's Ale ~Wizard Mind Bomb These are about 8 hours per stage with 3 stages so these are harvested every 24 hours ~Dragon Bitter ~Axeman's Folly ~Chef's Delight These are 4-6 hours per stage time with 3 stages you can harvest this every 12-18 hours Moonlight Mead 4.1-Getting Drunk! This part of the guide will tell you how each beer will effect your stats Cider +2 farming +3 farming Dwarven Stout +1 smithing +2 smithing Asgarnian Ale +2 strength Greenman's Ale +1 herblore +2 herblore Wizard Mind Bomb +2 or +3 magic-the increase to magic is 2 if your magic is less than 49, 3 if higher.
