How are they going to add content for levels 100-120, when there are no level 100-120, apart from Dungeoneering? They aren't going increase the skills to 120, so I don't see the harm in adding a master cape for those who simply like gaining XP. It's not like they are putting a gun to your head and forcing you to get those master capes, you can just play however you like as before.

their defense is "kind of high like automatons" but you could probably drygore them if you are really against the idea of just using some darts or something i don't really recommend getting in biting range of a dragon copied from the steel dragon template unless you enjoy spending time healing instead of being a just out of reach [wagon] with a lot of super antifires Yeah, the thing is I have 200m Range and HP, but I've heard they are pretty good Slayer XP (like ~1k per kill?) so I'd definitely prefer to melee them if possible. But I could easily just buy Ascensions if required. Thanks though :D

Quick question, but can those Celestial dragons be effectively meleed? I really don't want to have to range them.

??? So the only point of the game is to gain xp? Well in that case, let me point you to a relevant game. When you hit the cap there, you gain 1 xp. That way, you'll be busy for a while more. Meanwhile, I'll be trying my hand at some actual gameplay. What is this actual gameplay you refer to? Almost everything we do in this game is for the single purpose of gaining better or faster XP, in one way or the other. Of course there's a few exceptions, like Castle Wars. What's the point of doing all that when you're maxed out with a hard cap of 13m XP? That would leave PvMing as the end-game content pretty much, and even that is pretty damn pointless. What are you going to do with all the items and money you acquire from PvMing if you can't use it? There is just zero logic behind wanting a hard cap on XP. RS is fine as it is, you can do your 'actual gameplay' all you want, meanwhile I can continue to gain XP and get higher ranks. I see no problem here. EDIT: And like W aldo said above me, gaining XP is a massive part of the game, surely it can't be a good idea to pretty much eliminate that, especially with how fast skills are nowadays.

I find the idea of placing a hard cap at 13m XP to be absolutely ridiculous. There would be no point in playing the game once you max out. I don't even understand why you would want that? Because there are faster methods of gaining XP than there were 7 years ago? Because people are more focused on training their skills and gaining XP than playing minigames and "having fun"? I don't know, I think the idea of a hard cap is plain and simply ridiculous.
