Well, since the release of the new slayer quest in early summer, I have had three main goals in runescape, and this week I acheived 2 of them. I barely played over the summer, so most of this work has been accomplished late last spring and early this fall, and i'm not gonna lie, they are some pretty sick acheivments if i may say so myself. Oh, and people will be jealous: I started at under 80 slayer (78 or so?) when i began slaying, and my main goal was actually to go from 82-88 summoning purely from slayer. Well about 6 million nechryal tasks later (seriously, ask baconxtral if you wanna know how often i got them, it was nuts): So there you have it, 2 of the monsters in runescape that most people would love to kill/summon are now availible to me. Not sure what's next, but first i'm going to finish getting 99 attack through slayer: [hide=Latest level] (~400k till 98 now)[/hide] then it's time to find out where unicorns shine the most in this game :P by the way for anyone who cares, it cost roughly 5-7m in shards to go from 82-88 (with swapping pouches), and i'm not sure about second's prices. and charm wise? well it was a hell of a lot of charms to get to 88, and that's all i know on that topic... thanks oropher, squigtime, and baconxtral for coming 8-) rate away \

I don't really make as many posts on tif as I used to, but i was just thinking about the new updates coming and randomly i remembered something... I beleive it was last july, jagex implemented the varock library udpate and as a side reward from it we were given xp lamps. but what about the big reward? we are supposed to be allowed to visit some secret island or something using the barge that has been in the process of being built for over a year. So basically, people thought the varrock library might bring the archeology skill to rs, and when it didn't, people thought this new island would be a big update (even though we knew little about it). Personally i thought the boat would be "finished" last august or AT LEAST last year. But here we are appoaching september 2008, and not a sound has been made about this strange update from last july. all i want to know...is why the hell did jagex release something like that so early and just leave it in the dust? for all we know they could have just forgotten about it and moved on, because that sure is what it seems like... what are your thoughts about this?

Well, It's that time in my life, I need to start applying for colleges. I'm going to be honest and say that I haven't thought too much about colleges or my carreer i want to have, but for a couple weeks now I've been thinking about my future. I have about a 4.0 gpa and I am re-taking the ACT in october (didnt do too terrible the first time...just trying to do better). Anyways, I have decided I want to be some sort of Doctor, preferebly a dentist of some sort. Now I'm a pretty social guy that makes friends easily, and I'm used to a lot of school work. So, I created this thread basically so you can say what college you went to, whether you like/d it or not (and why), and so I can have some input on some good pre-med schools (I will probably major in some sort of engineering). As of now some of the schools I have considered going to are ASU, NAU, Denver, and I need to look into some california schools, but I need to look at many others before i make a decision. So any advice would be great, and if you don't have advice than just feel free to post about what college you attend(ed) and what you think about it :) (P.S. i'm obviously not going to base my future on what colleges you all went to, but it could play a factor if you have any information on a college I might apply to) thanks

hmmm...interesting, i have used to be 87/87/87 melee stats and was planning on doing 99 attack followed by 99 str as well :shock: 95 attack atm, you beat me by a long shot, grats :)
