They wouldn't only release the low level monsters first. First of all, the higher level ones will probably be cooler, and will attract more people to summoning, and also, I'm sure Jagex realizes that some people will play their game for 20+ hours straight once summoning is released.

Since when was Runescape realistic? excactly, if you can magically summon a penguin out of some clay pouch thingy, then penguins can put eggs in trees. End of story :lol:

There is a picture of a chicken egg in one of the diaries, and we know that a "dreadfowl" will be a new familiar, and in the postbag from the hedge teaser, someone found the word "hen" in some anogram. That's enough evidence for me to start collecting them.

Ok, this may seem kind of a farfetched idea, but has anyone considered cutting down those arctic trees on the fremenick isles for a penguin egg?? I think theres a few near that yak area.

Wow, i think you may have overkilled it with the questing, but nice raven eggs... And you do know that 99 IS possible in 2-3 weeks, that is, if you play 24 hours a day, so good luck doing that and calling it easy

nahh, honestly I had just finished my 99 theiving goal, had nothing better to do, and since summoning will most likely be my next 99, i figured i might as well try to get a head start if i could? At least i know that the eggs, karamthulhu's, and fishbowls will be used O:)

That would be 10 karamthulhu's, they are dropped my zombie pirates on braindeath island, and they were mentioned in one of the development diaries.

Well I have collected ashes, don't know if u just missed em, or i forgot to put in the pic, but trust me...I have been trying hard for a ravens egg, and still am trying.

I did plunder, and although it was a bit tedious, it is the fastest way, and I acheived it after a few months (not including a 2 month break i took in the middle :P )

Anything else i should consider collecting?

Summoning wouldn't affect combat level if it didn't HELP you in combat, you think of that one? I'm sure there will be STRONG monsters that can help you in PvP, especially for a level 99 summoner. It works the same way as prayer, in a duel with NO PRAYER set, a level 100 with 99 prayer would get owned by a level 100 with 1 prayer.

Looking at the development diary that showed the amount of time worked on each skill, construction easily had been worked on much more than hunter, slayer, and farming. Construction has something new at almost every level, whereas hunter has very few new uses past level 70. I'm glad this is going to change this month, and i think that in the near future hunter will be a very useful skill. In other words, construction does not deserve new updates as much as hunter, mining, agility, fishing, etc.

Excactly...It probly took me a good 2-3 hours to get these 10, but i'm glad i did it because braindeath island could get crowded once summoning arrives.

What monster drops aren't "luck" in this game... Jeeze someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning :-w

(aka the person who gave 2/10), the drop was a guthans spear and helm double drop, the reason its not shown in the first pic is cuz he was wearing them...hence my reaction.
