At my college Iban, the teacher in classroom 4 allowed all his students to play COD on lan because so few of his class turned up it was not worth doing work. That was what i was told. We played Unreal Tournamen on lan last week on monday and tuesday but we were not meant to. The stff can't monitor what we are doing anyway, they don't have the corret software installed to do so. as long as its not CoD5, i approve :thumbsup:

Ended up with a 65% on the project. Kinda disappointed :| But in other "awesome" news, it seems Karma has taken place and a guy I know broke up with his girlfriend to try and get with my ex-girlfriend. He was rejected, and I lol'd very hard, which felt really nice considering I had just broken up with said girlfriend. This actually occured a while ago, but I only found out about it today. It sounds mean of me, but it's a long story (condensed: the guy is a man [bleep] that cheats on his girlfriend on a daily basis, and has been trying to get with my then-girlfriend for over a year) Karmas a [cabbage] that made me laugh :P

Halo: Good Campaign,through Bad Multiplayer (Health System). Halo 2: Bad Campaign,through Good Multiplayer. Halo 3: Middle in both. I haven't played Halo 3 or O.D.S.T. in a long time since MW2. ;_; I dont know why, but i LOVE halo campaign. All of it. Every little bit. In my charts, campaign is better than multiplayer in every game. Mabye thats just cause i suck at multiplayer.... but whatever :P

If I might respond... 1. Terrorists do not discriminate when it comes to who they attack (suicide bombing of school buses anyone?). Blowing up the Parliament Buildings of a large, industrialized western nation would be a major coup and bring untold attention from the rest of the world. Not 9/11 level attention perhaps, but you see my point. 2. The fact that they were "just protesters" isn't the point. No one should have had enough freedom to get up there in the first place. We're talking about the seat of our government. The response of security personnel shouldn't be adjusted according to the people involved. If someone is not supposed to be in an area, they should be removed immedately. *Not* after they've had a chance to try and make whatever point it is they're trying to get across. The actions of these "protestors" (I say "protesters" because there are proper ways to go about holding protests on Parliament Hill) have exposed an incredibly troubling hole in the security of of our govenment officials. One that if not rectified could very well be exploited by people with a much more sinistar agenda next time. ...and I did admit that I might have been a bit harsh in my original posting. One should never post while angry. :grin: I still think your overreacting a bit. Canada is a nice country. We dont get bombed because we arn't the ones sending in thousands of troops to afganistan. We send a bunch of metics. Bombing us wouldn't prove a point like 9/11 did. 9/11 was their way of saying "gtfo of our country, [cabbage]holes" too bad it just killed thousands and provoked yet another war would you notice a bunch of protesters at street level as much as you would notice protesters on the roof? they are proving a point, and a damned good one

i see two things wrong with kaida's statement about our security 1. why would anyone bomb canada? we havn't done anything wrong. everyone loves us. 2. it's just protesters, so RCMP arn't going to shoot them off the roofs, or hang them. Canada handles its problems with anything but force. they will probebly spend a day in jail, mabye a week at most. or mabye not at all.

We were up on train tracks, messing around, and somehow we didnt hear a train comin untill it was about 5 seconds to owning us <_< I got off with plenty of time, but he decided to do an epic jump last second. I have very few friends. few as in..... 5 -.- I say friends as in anyone who wants to be within 3 feet of me. I have 1 friend i can actually 'trust' i always wish i could have more friends Im far to nice -.- I cant bring myself to even playfight Im unusually brave for my size I can stand up to the biggest kid in my school Did i mention im the smallest kid in my school? I can face my fears, which has thrown me into piles of [cabbage] Im somewhat shy when it comes to girls, but im starting to get over it Everyone seems to think im gay cause im so nice, and small. IM NOT GOD DA[cabbage] GAY! .....DId i mention the lack of friends? oh, i currently have about 20 kids who apsolutly hate me, for reasons i dont fully understand. Something about being to nice for a guy -.- well, that sums my life up. Did i mention im smart? too smart....

Rejection is the best thing to overcome (in terms of relationships anyway). A lot of guys don't even ask women out because they fear being rejected. Which means y'did good. Ty, i needed someone to actually tell me i acomplished something.... lol

ok, im puttin it out here. I ASKED A GAL OUT finally got the confedence, so, high five She turned me down. but after the two hour [cabbage] period, its not really that bad. just saying....

just a question, i want to ask a girl out. Im now confedent i can do it, but i need some suggestions on what i should say. Somthing creative would be good, just generally anything. TY

I could just as easily say no, don't do it. And would you? You could still ask her out, who's gonna stop you? me? certainly not. If she's seems worth the effort, then yes, go for it. If you don't feel ready, then accept that you may be letting an oppurtunity slip and move on with your life. You have the final say in this situation. We could say anything we want in this thread. No matter what you may say, i dont think ill ever be confortable in a group. Just not my style. And no one has given me fedback if i should ask her out or not.... Im REALLY not sure about it....

One thing i deffinetly dont want to do if i ask this girl out is a group. Ill either ditch her by accedent, or spend so much time with her it will make her unconfortable. I really dont know what to do, or even if i should

i suck at group events. ill blend in with the crowd before i realize whats hapening.

Well it would really help if we knew how much you talked to her, what she likes to do, and why you think she likes you, and what IOI's she's given you. As for something to do, don't go on the stereotypical trip to the movies, then something to eat, then dropping her off at home. Do something interesting. Take her to an ice cream tasting convention, or an opera. If she likes skateboarding, do something related to that. If she's a gamer, take a trip to one of those gamercon things. Do something that would be interesting to her and to you. Hmmm.... I talk to her a bit. We're not good friends or anything, but we chat every day or so. IOIs... well, when we talk, she'll hold eye contact for a couple seconds, then kind of shy away and look towards a wall, or something like that. The she'll go back and hold for a sec.... you know what i mean. Wow, Ice cream convention? Opera? We're in a small town up in canada. The biggest thing we have is the movies. Other from that, theres basically nothing. Thats why im asking, cause nothing is hard to use for a date.
