  1. How could you defend your family with a sword? Someone with a handgun is threatening to shoot you, you throw it at them? You believe different than us, apparently. The typical American would not be able to stand their spouse being attacked, whereas it appears you're not sure whether you'd care or not. I personally would fight with anything if I or my family/friends were under attack - and have. I completely believe in self-defence personally, and it appears that the Supreme Court does as well. EDIT: That's quite a bad graph, Sniper. I can't really distinguish the words or lines.
  2. 85's across the board for most teams. Solo'ing could be done with 85's, but 90's would be more effective.
  3. I agree wit that as well, and I was just poking a bit of fun at you. By the way, as to the whole "free time" argument, how do you explain Muslims having been the leading scientific group in the Middle Ages, despite praying very often during their day? Sorta defuncts that idea.
  4. I heard somewhere that a school called Harvard is much better. We don't, Blue. Ever heard of Einstein or Newton (For you, Zonor! :D)?
  5. Great, they made the right choice.
  6. I personally used to question my religion, but science actually pushed me back to it. And I believe I am fairly intelligent. However, that theory is pretty stupid; completely biased from an atheist's side of the argument. At least, it seemed so in my eyes.
  7. I prefer to think of it as the cancer of modern society. And how is that? Because you can provide a laughing emoticon? Well won.

We have huge numbers of nuclear power plants in the US! Have you ever read your yearly energy report? For me, nuclear plants generate over 20% of my power, the second biggest resource after coal. I wouldn't say huge. There are a relatively good number, but still, there could be more. If we could manage the waste. I say let Lenin give his armies super powers with the waste.
  9. 1. Probably an M240, just for sheer tearing-through-zombieness. 2. Starship - We Built This City. 3. Star Wolf. That way, whenever a zombie tries to eat me, he'll go "Can't let you do that, zombie!" And all the zombies will go "Lololololololol." If you can use a standard-issure Desert Eagle with one hand, you must have the hand strength of a... Rock.... Hand. Or something.
  10. Care to share why? I am not familiar of your beliefs, which is why I am asking a general question. I think it'd be interesting to know, that is all. :) Not his logic, if that's what you're wondering. It's sound more or less, just seems to jump to conclusions a little too fast. What I didn't like was the general Fundy rhetoric- essentially taking at least a second out of every sentence to, in bold caps, make sure that the atheists know he thinks they're idiots and treats said belief as absolute law. It's typical obnoxious behavior, and completely intolerable to deal with. While he is obnoxious and idiotic, he makes a good point. Sort of the point I was trying to make with my post earlier.
  11. Is this not a discussion on the modern, New Testament? I can understand bringing religion on a whole into it, but we are talking about something modern. I may have been avoiding a part of a debate that was thoroughly worthless and unnecessary, but that doesn't mean I believe that believing in God hasn't inspired death. Of course religion spawns hate. But, unfortunately, everything does, not just religion. That's the point I'm trying to come across, but you seem to believe religion is the largest wrong in human history. Thanks for loving how I'm talking about the topic. You'd already edited it - I'm assuming it was just an error in your posting - but your reply to me was inside my quote. I know quite well about the Crusades. Sure, a horrible time, but Christianity isn't the only religion to cause massive holy wars - far from it. However, I suppose talking about other religions is, in fact, deviating from the topic. Alright, thanks for clarifying that. If you use science in general, I'm going to use it as well. I personally believe in the Big Bang and Darwin's Theory. I just believe God (or some sort of higher Authority) created it. It gives me a bit of a purpose in life, and makes me think, "Hey, maybe I don't need to try and make humanity better! Maybe I can just stop and enjoy this amazing world!" I'm sad if you don't have such a good feeling in your life, but happy for you if science and science alone fulfills this need to be needed.
  12. Can't continue quoting you Den, but how is that avoiding the debate? And how is modern-day Christianity causing mass-scale killings? I'm not sure whether that was an accidental err in your posting or whether you're changing my quote for reasons unknown to me, but point out how Christians are waging a holy war in the modern era? This is a topic on the Christian Bible (Some could say it could also be the Old Testament, but I believe this is more centered around Crhistianity. Correct me if I'm wrong), and these days Islamic and Judaic nation(s) are in the spotlight of religious warfare. You are the one deviating from the point there. I apologize for saying that you believe science has never caused violence, but it is obvious you believe it is far less dangerous than religion. How so? I'm fairly certain terrorists search for weapons such as nuclear warheads. Not the Bible.
  13. So you believe science has never caused violence? Ignorance must be bliss. Show me a video of scientists slitting a throat of a religious believer for believing in creationism and I'll show you 10 videos of religious believers slitting people's throats for believing in a different God, or having a different idea about God. I'm not saying believing in God is bad, I'm saying killing people because they believe in a different version of a God or no God at all is rather stupid. It's like how they do in certain countries when voting is in progress. They stamp you with a different color depending on which you've voted for and then there are groups of people who check the stamps. If your stamp color is different from theirs, expect to have a few broken ribs in a minute or two. I apologize, I don't have a collection of murder videos. Quite odd that you have so many. Killing people period is stupid. Death in the name of honor or justice, acceptable in my eyes. But cold-blooded murder for stupid reasons as science or religion are idiotic. By the way, if you're speaking of killing people in the name of God, modern time religious warfare centers between Islam and Judaism. Also, all I'm saying is don't get on a high horse saying that science has never caused violence. That's pure ignorance.
  14. Neither. I'd prefer to be carried by a massive crowd of people...Made of pillows. If I had to choose, though, I guess Superman-style...
  15. So you believe science has never caused violence? Ignorance must be bliss.
  16. All of the above. I'm also quite prepared for zombies, not scared of ghosts, and not really too frightened of aliens. Probably for the same reasons as Lenin.
  17. True, Wal-Mart is good and all, but I'd prefer a school over it.
  18. With hydrogen, it emits water vapor. Where can you buy hydrogen? Interesting, we need trucks to be powered by this. Or sailing ships.
  19. I am, personally, Christian, but I believe God takes the form of everything. Whether it is God, Allah, the Flying Spaghetti Monster, or the Scientific Method, you're believing in something to explain this [bleep]-up world we live in, which is the most basic definition of religion.
  20. Schools are far better places. Places like Wal-Mart have too many entrances to be easily fortified, and if the zombie swarm gets tall enough to reach the roof, they can fall in through the sky lights. Local Wal-Mart entrances: 3 (2 big auto-doors, 1 from gardening section). Local school entrances: >8 Which has too many entrances, now? You have a very unusual Wal-Mart. And unless you have a wierd school as well, your school will have plenty of fallback routes, gates, and equipment to block doors. Also, most schools (at least around here) have solid, heavy wooden doors, not glass auto-open.

What the hell kind of reasoning is that? Let's not do this because our laws on it will surely be broken... I'm thinking people must be under the impression that super-humans are running these plants and obviously do not have any problems absorbing the massive amounts of radiation into their bodies. And they obviously don't live near the plants either, so why would they care if the radation was dumped into the local river or buried in a local field? The reason for no one EVER getting sick or dying from nuclear plants is because they take the radiation so far away from human civilization that it would take thousands of years to seep through the ground to even have minimal effects on humans. Errr. What? Seriously, you just went from one side of the argument completely to the other one, then back to the other side again.
  22. Schools are far better places. Places like Wal-Mart have too many entrances to be easily fortified, and if the zombie swarm gets tall enough to reach the roof, they can fall in through the sky lights.
  23. ...Fanbase? The Bible was sort of written for the Christian religion. And there are authors, and we know who they are.
  24. The only problem with ethanol is the fact that, here in America at least, it sends food prices soaring. By the way, how do you "fill up" a hydrogen-powered car? With water?
