I wouldn't. It just wouldn't be a good game-besides, lots of RS is based around player interaction. -

If you have a Saradomin Sword or a Zamorak Spear, use one of them. I wouldn't use obby mace. And try and get a high strength bonus too.

Follow the one that you think is the furthest route, it'll normally have less traps & etc..

If you are F2P, the above setup would be perfect. As for P2P, take some Barrows or something, and a good consistent high hitting, fast weapon such as a whip or Dragon Scimitar. Take at least lobsters or better as Ankous can hit 8's through 80+ defence. Good Luck. -
