  2. You've got the focus here, but apart from that, the shot is bland.

My old school used to call them 'forms'. Normal day at school for me, did some stuff for my family after school and did some revision, talked to my girlfriend on MSN, and now feel as though I'm going to pass out.
  9. Dress Rehearsal Rag by Leonard Cohen
  10. Take a look at perspective and lines. Look at reflections. It's worth getting out and about, Nottingham is a nice city.
  11. Dogs by Pink Floyd
  12. Uni is a bit of a crap place for photos, isn't it? :P Seeing as you live in Nottingham, have you tried photographing any landmarks, like the Royal Theatre? There is some nice architecture in Nottingham, have a look around.
  13. Have you got any houseplants, or anything along those lines? If so, try spraying some water on (with a Lucozade bottle or something), get up close and see what you can do macro wise.
  14. Most writers of tutorials on many sites (for example, Phototuts+) reccommend using a remote trigger for tripod work anyway, it's just a heck of a lot easier than holding your breath for a few seconds. In the mean time, have you tried weighing the tripod down with anything? Weighing it down might dampen/stop the bounce from your dodgy floorboards.
  15. A business got invested in. EVERYONE PANIC. Come on - it happens all the time. Drop the nostalgia of the old days and embrace change.

It's not terribly great, I agree. I read on Pitchfork that they placed their mics they used for recording the live set midpoint between the amps and the crowd to give it a different vibe. A lot of background noise.
  22. Haha, cheers Cameron :D The Sound Of Silence by Simon & Garfunkel

Highlighting seems a little overdone in my eyes.

Definitely try out Homework by Daft Punk, more or less essential electronic music in my opinion. Really diggin' A Cross The Universe by Justice at the moment. Sounds great on large, bassy speakers.
