It's not terribly great, I agree. I read on Pitchfork that they placed their mics they used for recording the live set midpoint between the amps and the crowd to give it a different vibe. A lot of background noise.
  4. Haha, cheers Cameron :D The Sound Of Silence by Simon & Garfunkel
  5. Highlighting seems a little overdone in my eyes.

Definitely try out Homework by Daft Punk, more or less essential electronic music in my opinion. Really diggin' A Cross The Universe by Justice at the moment. Sounds great on large, bassy speakers.
  7. Bought a pair of these sneakers today; Really, really good fit. Adidas sizing is strange, though.
  8. Many forums already have mobile themes, no need to install external applications. The price will put many people off too - do consider that not everyone has smartphones.
  9. Was there really need for that? While finding a good subject is a skill of the good photographer, isn't it good to experiment a little, to practice with light? - I think the problem here is the exposure - it's just a little bit too dark; exposing a couple of stops lighter would probably give the same effect but make it more visible. Don't be discouraged by our critique, we're only trying to help you improve.
  10. That's what it all boils down to.
  11. I'm really getting into Aphex Twin now, I don't know why I didn't before. on topic: Glastonbury Live - Essential Mix - 26-06-2010 featuring Annie Mac, Toddla T, Chase & Status and Skream
  12. Especially myself living in a town such as Glastonbury (which annually holds one of the biggest music festivals in the world), I think it's important that people share music just like they do at the festival, but if they really like it, they should pay for music.
  13. I'm not sure where I stand on this. I really don't think it's such a large problem that the industry/labels make it out to be. A large majority of my collection is CD's I've borrowed from the library, borrowed off relatives/friends, and a fair few albums that I've bought.
  14. The biggest problem here is underexposure. Invest in a tripod and you'll be able to do longer exposures (thus letting more light in, exposing your shots properly). Carry on practicing with manual focus, it's a skill that takes a lot of work to master. Work on focusing well before resorting to buying a prime lens and such.
  15. Your current design looks really, really good Zack. Not an incredible amount of work that needs doing, I've always been a fan of your minimalistic-ish layouts.
  16. No problem :D deviantART is a fantastic place to find tutorials on pixel art/isometric art. It'd be great to see you advance and produce more pixel art :D
  17. Good to see you, Cowboy :D Teasers are looking great, I'm looking forward to seeing finished versions. No C/C from me as such, I've always found your work to be of a great standard :D
  18. Very basic at the moment is what i can say. Needs a lot of work. Don't be afraid to try things out. Next time, try not to use cloning/repeated texture. One thing I noticed that was OK was the sunflower - the shading on the brown part looks nice - it's just a shame it's not on a bigger scale. There are countless tutorials all over the internet - (in this case, I've linked to 'pixel tutorials' on deviantart) - really detailing the nitty gritty of getting started with pixel art. It's good for a first try. Keep at it :)
