  1. I'm here to answer some of the questions people might have, I've been drinking and smoking consistently for the past 5-6 years Wow. You've never done drugs, yet you honestly think this? There are such a wide variety of drugs, if you actually know anyone who has had their life ruined, then they were doing more than the norm Yes, actually. In fact, of all the mainstream drugs that most teenagers use (e.g. alcohol, tobacco, weed, LSD, shrooms, ecstasy, caffeine), the only ones which are addicting are the ones that ARE legal. None of the illegal drugs listed above are physically addicting(i.e. they have some kind of addictive property in them) Definitely This is a bit of a personal issue for me. I would actually completely disagree with that statement. Teenagers get wasted because of the way it feels (awesome). I would consider people who just drink a little bit to be the bad people, because thats a sign if alcohol addiction (not drinking for the affects , but rather because they want to) Weed is not a waste of money. It gets you in to a great mood and is a great pain reliever. There are actually people who get weed from the govt medicinally. However, I began cigarettes as an enhancer for weed. It gets you into an even more ecstatic state Um, no. Dropping a brick on your head will get you the same affects as a hang over, something which older people and less experienced alcohol users experience the next morning. Weed isn't about seeing colors and flying unicorns, unfortunately :(. Thats more of an LSD thing For the record, your previous statement made your opinion completely null I lived in Italy for a few years of my life, and my dad would frequently take me to the bar when I was 8-10, then when I was in my teens and in America, I had a much better understanding and was ready to get completely hammered Thats an early sign of alcoholism, drinking to escape your problems Uh... that could be interpreted as attempted murder, and absinthe isn't illegal in the UK That, combined with everything you just said , makes me ashamed to be apart of the same social culture as yourself He probably isn't a big fan of beer, neither am I. When someone comes up to me and is like " Yo dude! you wanna get a keg this weekend? " and then I tell them that I'm not much of a beer drinker, they look at me disgusted. Usually when i go to a party, I bring a flask full of some hard liquor and make it my limit. I just don't like the taste of beer :? I would much rather be drinking some vodka at the dinner table than beer , for some reason my taste buds don't react to liquor like it does for most people Oh, and for anyone who still dislikes weed, theres always a vaporizer
  2. Does anyone know much about this movie? From the trailer, it looks to be a movie about the 60s with the beatles doing the soundtrack
  3. JVC .. eh.. wouldn't touch it personally. good HD tvs = Sony Panasonic LG Gateway (no Tv's but monitors i think) Samsung I've decided on either this - http://www.buy.com/prod/samsung-hl-t617 ... 87679.html or this..http://www.buy.com/retail/Product.asp?sku=202787485&adid=17737&SearchEngine=Guidester&Type=DF&Keyword=202787485&Category=Elec&GSID=34847630&GSESID=vg4wco452lfefk45mh2xpu55&GSCID=2 It's for my bedroom, and some people say that a TV that large for a room that small will make it really bad :s
  4. http://www.buy.com/prod/jvc-hd-52z575-5 ... 47165.html It's a 52" TV for only 800, which makes me a little skeptical :? does anyone know about this LCoS technology? I'm afraid that it might be sloppy quality
  5. Yea, I was looking into a Jetta GLS V6 but apparently they arent too reliable

  7. Ok, I'll just lay it down 1. LSD flash backs don't just randomly occur. Every flash back I've had was when I was doing drugs. And it was just like a little segment of a normal trip. The main argument against LSD is that it can lead to schizophrenia ,which I must agree upon. I spent 94 days in a rehab clinic because I was going schizophrenic and was addicted to the wrong kinds of drugs (not these soft ones that are being discussed). That was when I was 16. Now I'm 21, an avid tripper and a frequent marijuana user and my life has never been better 2. Marijuana isn't addicting, unless you're an idiot and in that case you shouldn't be using it. Marijuana isn't physically addicting, meaning that there are no addictive properties in it (such as tobacco and nicotine). This makes it very difficult to get addicted to the drug itself. However, it can be mentally addicting. This means that you aren't addicted to the drug, but rather the experience.
  8. Hey kids, marijuana isn't addictive
  9. Yea, I'm really nervous about meeting them  won't know what to say And when did Bob Dylan go on tour?
  10. I recently won tickets to Ratdog. For those not familiar with him, it is basically the Grateful Dead with out Jerry Garcia :P And included in the package are meet & greet passes  This will be my first meet & greet with a band this well known and I'm really nervous and might bring one of my Grateful Dead shirts for them to sign. I'm scared that its gonna be really awkward though and if they might think of me as weird if I asked them to sign my shirt
  11. I doubt that any console will EVER be able to match these results, or even come close No company has even come within 50 million of these sales, the closest being 50 million consoles behind, nearly 20 years ago. I doubt that the PS3 or 360 will sell over 20 million
  12. That was all of Ohio? I thought only where I live Yay Ohioans  . No smoke  . (yes, I live in Ohio o_O. Huzzah! and whatnot.) Where? =D>
  13. Do you really think that it is because people will lose jobs? lmao. Not that many in the U.S. are employed by tobacco companies  It is because of how much money the govt makes off of the taxes on alcohol and tobacco, also because of a lot of politicians smoke and drink ;)
  14. Yeah, with that whole thing with Horrus and stuff and his bday, I found none of that on the internet
  15. For the first years at high school the numbers are much lower than that. That should be pretty accurate by the end of your last year, though. EDIT: I just read this which I have a hard time believing: http://www.monitoringthefuture.org/pubs ... ew2005.pdf I've found that girls smoke as many cigarettes, if not more, than guys do. I know a lot of girls (and guys for that matter) who don't like to get drunk. All of them have their reasons; some of them are scared to try it, some of them prefer to smoke weed, and others are completely against the idea of being intoxicated. Personal experiences
  16. A few observations that I have made after 4 years of an upper-middle class high school. 1.95% of your high school has been drunk at least once. I was apart of the skater crowd and I thought that only us did that kind of thing until I went to this one girls sweet 16 where about 400 people were drunk. Even the people who I would never expect 2. Most girls think that smoking is nasty, but get drunk every weekend. I have NEVER known(that means that I actually talk to them) a girl who didn't get drunk at least a few times a month. 3. Not many kids smoke weed frequently. A lot of people think that they will die or suffer from brain damage. A lot of people smoke cigarettes, but not smoke weed I think that the reason weed hasn't been legalized is because it is not addictive. Many politicians are known to love beer and are addicted to it so they support it all the way, but weed isn't addictive.
  17. You want to buy a REAL Gibson Explorer? You can EASILY drop $1,000 on any kind of Gibson, if its the look that you want then just buy a cheap version, kind of like how Epiphone Les Paul is to Gibson Les Paul BTW, I paid $2,100 for my Gibson Les Paul Standard. Thats how much Gibson guitars are
  18. A standard Epiphone Les Paul is about 400-500 dollars, its the guitar that I had after about 8 years of playing. I'm guessing that the special version is like 700
  19. This was a Modern Marvels on the History Channel back in like 2003, its pretty old news
  20. I agree, if their price was at like $450, then they would be outselling everything
  21. FAR more powerful, I think not.... The 360 and the Ps3 have pretty identical specs.are you kidding? do you just pull this stuff out of your [wagon]? So why we ask is the Ps3 more expensive? No reason what so ever... what makes it more expensive is the blu-ray 360, cheaper, better game support lmao, i'm on my 3rd 360 this yearand controllers that won't take someone's eyes out....explain? The specs are not identical but they produce they same results, or are in favor of the 360. If you don't want to believe facts, then leave. Take your fanboyism somewhere else. I don't even have a PS3, I was too impatient to wait an entire year to get one. Ok, a game that developers have had a year to get used to its system develop a better game that one they have never worked with. Thats fair. Then why is it that a game being released a year after the PS3 release (Ratchet & Clank) has the best graphics that have ever been seen on a console? The specs of the PS3 are better in every single way. There is NO denying that. If you laid out the specs and compared them side-by-side, not counting price, library, online or anything else, then most people would choose the PS3
