If all you care about is fair gameplay, play single player games. Every single MMO is full of bots, cheats, hacks RWT of some description. The Internet isn't Utopia. /thread Their original reason for the restricted trade RWT updates were all [cabbage] anyway. Like runescape is the only MMO that has a RWT community using stolen credit cards. The reason they are bringing back free trade is the failed GE mechanic with manipulator clans. Restricted trade was a failed experiment. I cant wait to log in and dump 100m on my IRL noob friend. Cash is usless to me i have everything banked for what buyables i have left. I just logged in a voted on the main site... it was 90% for bring back free trade. And the old wild was what made runesacape hardcore... there arnt very many MMOs where you can loot the otherguys items once you murder his noob ass. :thumbup: This

I don't see the point in adding a no option. There will be more yeas than nays. Also, put old pild on all worlds, not on certain ones. It wasn't like that in 2006.

Staking has been confirmed that it will return. There should be some pics of mod mmg saying that in his cc floating around this topic somewhere. he said something like "oh yes staking will return also, so you could stake a partyhat for a candle or whatever." :thumbsup:

If anything, the economy will benefit from free trade and old wilderness. People will be able to set there own prices, so prices may not fluctuate as they do with ge. Also old pking, it wont generate more wealth into the game than needed, as the old pking was just transferring wealth. This will stop inflation. Or a % of it.

I really hope jagex does this, but im wondering how far they are going to go to make it "feel like the good old days" as much as possible.

What people over look is what jagex said. They said they have ways of dealing with RWT better now. Mod MMG said that in his cc. Who knows if they can deal with them, we will find out Jagex wouldn't give us the option to bring it back if they knew it would ruin there game would they?

I agree with you. Also a lot of people overlook the fact that Jagex stated they can combat RWT and bots better than they could years ago. Whether that is true or not, we will find out.

25% is roughly 318k votes. That is in almost 2 days. In no way shape or form could the naysayers come close to that. I would suggest the people against this go ahead and make your plans on what your going to do, as did the pk'ers/people that liked free trade did in 2007. And please tell me how you know that in no way shape or form could naysayers come close to that? From the poll at the top of this very forum, only around 60% are for the update. Yes'es have DOUBLE the percentage. This is also tip.it, I don't see a large group of pkers/pures here often. Exactly what I have been saying. A lot of people say no because they are not pkers.

Theres a rumor going around that said they have already decided in doing the update. Another rumor says it will be brought back January 1st, which doesn't make sense because it will take longer than a week and a half to re-implement everything and move everything around. Rumors are rumors.

Honestly, I can't see more than 2/3 of those votes being legitimate. After now, I doubt more than 1/4 of them are real. Those who play will have voted by now. Most of the votes from now on will probably be those put in by scripts. You will know if they are true votes or not depending on how long the trend rises in a constant scale. Does it matter? Even 25% is still a clear majority. this. its a fact that the majority wants free trade and old wilderness.
