  1. Thats all we can do now though, is speculate. Time will tell.
  2. I guess we can dismiss the last pic that was posted... I'm still waiting if they're going to add an option to say "no". They need to realize that some of the name voted may be names of people who are against this update. If they have no intentions of doing this, then I can already see whats going to happen.... Its been confirmed that a "no" option will be added tomorrow after we hit 1m people. lawl. I think we would still win either way even if we did start out with a no option

  4. God, I hope this isn't Bs. That picture is clearly fabricated. I see pixelation around all the text in that picture. Plus why would a jagex mod take a screenshot of that? Who would they send it to?
  5. U heard of rumors that Mod MMG will post a F.A.Q. tommorrow
  6. Im curious on how this is going to affect the prices of items such as sharks, rune scimitars, granite mauls, ect.
  7. You are just speculating here. There's no evidence to state that things are the way they were 3 years ago. I mean to say there will always be botters no matter what. It goes to show that more bots have been created and new and more advanced types of bots also even after the old style wilderness and free trade was removed. Sure some bots may come back, maybe even alot for a while but Jagex as a company has evolved in the past 3-4 years and hopefully have come up with some solutions to combat the problem. But there will always be RWTing and botting no matter what.
  8. What's your evidence to support your statement that bots are still abundant and that botting and rwting is as it was 3 years ago? Soul Wars bots Plank Bots Green Dragon bots Not to mention the other random skilling botters. Go to any RWT site and they are still in business. There are still many ways to transfer in runescape.
  9. I agree. PvP seems dead at the moment though. If they do re-implement free trade and old wilderness [which they should], jagex should go a different route in finding ways to stop botters and RWTers. Thats what I thought they should have done from the start. Not all of us are botters and RWTers so why punish everyone by ruining the PvP and trading system?
  10. My opinion is right, <bleep> the rest? Good point. Free trade won't increase the number of bots, noooo... And you think willderness and free trade will make RS as popular as it once was? Sure thing, mate, definitely gonna happen. There is evidence supporting the claim that yes, runescape was more popular with free trade, and could very well be as popular once again.
  11. Id imagine there would be. I wouldn't want those 2009 kids running around :P
  12.  Do you feel like a wuss being pked by another person instead of an npc? Are you blind to the amount of bots we have already? MMG is a business man. For once it's what people alot of people want. The reasons why free trade and wilderness were removed don't apply anymore- botting and rwting is as strong as it was 3 years ago, but only if you open your eyes. Meanwhile, jagex has never recovered from the popularity drop that was caused by the removal of free trade. Thank you. Couldn't have said it better myself.
  13. Illegal? Probably not. Vote rigging, yes. Corrupt, wrong, immoral, choose whichever term you wish. Maybe Jagex already have the update ready to roll and just wanted to legitimise it? Thinking it wouldn't get enough votes, they made it not need a password knowing their player base would cheat to get high enough votes? Bro I am pretty sure that the consesnus of the general public is that the vote is just for fun and that this update is clearly just a planned update. They probably have it all planned out and just wanted to run the poll to see how dedicated people were to rigging millions of votes. I wish that they would've done a legitimate vote though so that people like yourself could just see that the population of players who would actually oppose this revert are in the vast minority. Do you really think we need to have a vote on this? Do you really think that the people who are against this would win? Exactly. It doesn't matter how many don't want it, because it won't be as much as the people who want it. The people that got scammed or didn't pk don't want it. Furthermore, looking at the poll I notice more people are in favor for free trade and old wilderness. So if people want a legit poll, its right here on tipit, and they are already losing.
  14. Just because you're not a pker doesn't mean it's bad. A lot of us enjoyed it. Also, 76kers are usually not pkers... You're the plague of runescape. And what the [bleep] is with the "they can rot or 76k or whatever they do" statement? Are you flipping [developmentally delayed]ed? To add to that 76king won't exist in the old-wilderness
  15. Yeah its real, I know the name and where to get it too. Or at least one like it.
  16. Going to be an exciting couple of weeks
  17. Glad to see staking being returned. Gonna be exciting
  18. You dont get flamed by a revenant though
  19. Either way people are creating accounts to vote as we speak. Err, type
  20. Seems as though Jagex is planning the big bang update; the return of free trade and old-style wilderness.
  21. I dont think Jagex cares if anyone votes for other people. I think they want to see just how bad people want it. If people who want the old wilderness/free trade are willing to go around and vote for people they dont even know, that shows they will do anything. Either that or Jagex is going to put it back anyway, Im fine with it
  22. Of course the majority on here will vote no; this is more of a skilling and questing community it seems to me.
