Pro DGing
Great idea, do not see it happening though. Take a page out of all the popular dg clans books and improve upon their formula's of success. As you know becoming massively popular didn't help their cases so keeping your clan underground essentially would be a great point to start. But as you said, running such things takes a lot of time out of your day which few people want to deal with. the only maintenance a subforum would require is moderation... no promotion/convoluted ranking and recruitment system is required. there's much to gain because: -- keeping it on tif would be better vs an entirely new forum b/c tif's userbase is already intelligent, knowledgeable, and generally reliable. -- accountability for running dgs well -- perm team making would be easier i'm sure we could find volunteers willing to moderate it. if l2dg starts up again ill join

24-Nov-2010 - Tasks and Skill Targets
How is rewarding and guiding new players "catering to noobs and idiots?" Get over yourself, all of the high level achievement diaries are still there. You don't have to be smart or skilled to play Runescape, don't act like you're too good to click on some extra few tasks. because they are catering to noobs and idiots. I always make the same mistake. Note to self: Don't talk to Runescape kids as if they have fully functioning brains. Ikr I stopped doing that along time ago. But you still havent put up a decent argument. You cant get around the fact that alot of the updates jagex is making is centered around noobs and idiots.

Dungeoneering Suggestion
Dungeoneering combines all skills, bossing, and teamwork, why not include pvp?

What happened to this community?
All trolling aside (no, really), I think as skills get easier to train with more updates that allow easier leveling posts like 70 range isnt pro like it was. I remember when 45 range was ranked and admired because we didnt have chinchompas or soul wars.

Dungeoneering Suggestion
They could lessen the pvp death experience penalty, but maybe keep the npc death penalty the same

Dungeoneering Suggestion
Imagine this: a large DG map. Now double its size, and put two five man teams in opposite corners, racing to find the boss in the middle. Whichever team kills the boss first and unlocks the most rooms gets double experience what they would have gotten. The losing team would get regular experience. Now, throw in some ancient spells, unlockable with tokens from the trader, and enable pvp combat. Experience penalty from deaths would still apply. Thoughts?

"Life is too short to worry about highscores"
Highscores are not important at all. All it does is make nerds grind more. I'm talking about those extreme people on the highscores, who play like 15+ hours a day every day of their life. I can see an occasional weekend playing hardcore, but some people are just ridiculous. I remember when RS wasn't about highscores, just about completing your goal. Now all some of these kids do is gossip and track nerds on the highscores.

Chaotic Rapier vs Longsword
Sometimes I actually do that.... Really as I slowly work to 85 dung and my first chaotic i'm wondering if i should get a crapier or a ccrossbow. I would most likley use the cbow for arma or the crapier for slayer. I'm leaning to the rapier even though i don't have 80 attack yet. Any advice? Rapier, mainly because it has a lot more uses and is harder to lose. Cbow has a really low protect value. Anyway, I'm on my 4th chaotic and I'm still trying to decide between: CSTAFF CLS FKS CKS Suggestions? I'll most likely get staff. I already have rapier/maul/cbow Staff or the shields. CLS has no use whatsoever.
