  1. Faust, I want my room sealed off because I'm [bleep]ing tired of you and Earth entering it just to slap me, and that robot was actually made for research, if it was a bodyguard then why the hell would I make it behave like a Snorlax? Earth, try and I will rip your guts out through your mouth.
  2. Drake, yes it is unanimous, I voted for Icu, no one else voted. Earth, radar, meson sensor, EMF sensor, kinetic sensors. A combination of those would give the robot almost enough data to identify you, and most certainly enough to punch you through a wall.
  3. That's what I said, the title of captain is only formal.
  4. Nero, thus you proved your power was greater than theirs and as thus you kept the title.
  5. Earth, you need some hardcore weaponry to do that, and don't believe your stealth tech is so unbeatable, it's just a matter of using the right kind of sensors, like IR/heat sensors and sonars. Anyways, I'm trying to set up a dropbox so we can share documents for space, making it easier to keep track of things. But I need some e-mails.
  6. Dude, I'm just one protocol away from redisabling your abillity to unlock my door. Earth, you really think that? Because it's not just gonna be "stealth in, flip switch, walk out", it's a robot, and robots can see things that are invisible by using other means of control. Also it will recieve multiple upgrades that will make the process of accessing it a hell.
  7. Nex, Jeremiah is resigning as captain, which means your title as acting captain is nothing more than you being highest in comand in the case that he does not apear in the next few sessions. Also, if you become captain I will personally have you sealed inside a lead coffin with the bare minimum of lifesupport, towed behind the ship. And if you were to have my robot sealed inside a cuppboard you would first have to create a cuppord the size of a room, then you will have to reinforce the walls until they are at least twice as strong as the ship's internal walls. Which I dubt will be either cheap or fast, then there's the fact that the same AI which is in control of that robot also has control over nanites, which can pick the lock faster than you could open it with a key. Then you should worry about how you pissed of a robot strong enough to smash your skull onehanded. This ship works on this prinsiple; people listen to the captains they like and mutiny those they don't (because quite frankly, that was what happened to Nero). The strongest fighter and/or the best thinker controls the ship, though not directly.
  8. Nex, actually I do have special privileges, I am one of the three with access to my room, one of the three whi have superior command over what apears to be our strongest robot when it comes to brute force and I am one of two who can access science bays. The only one here with more privileges than me is the actual captain. Your title as acting captain gives you nothing more than the right to give orders, while you don't have the right to enforce them.
  9. Doesn't that contradict your last statement?
  10. Archi, are those numbers for lvl 1 or lvl 20 nanites?
  11. The electromagnet would have to pulse at a greater frequency that that at which nanites enter its range, also, given the nanites mobility one can assume they are good at gripping onto surfaces.
  12. Nero, you are the only one with even a slight benefit in me ending, though that won't, that can't, happen here. Also, the Swiss made the technology, Drake got it, I've just kept upgrading it. Also, I never had imbalanced technology, I just had 100 years of research on semi-free energy.
  13. Earth, they can survive indefinatly in blood, they are waterproof. Also my EMP turret is directional, so the blast continues forwards until it dissapates, it will in any event break some other equipment too.
  14. Icu, for isolation to work, the room has to be lined with lead, gold or some equally dense or dender material, else the pulse would pass through the walls. And the torpedo only has to come near the ship, it could just fly by and spray the ship with nanites, they can find their own way in, or make one if neccessary.
  15. Faust, there's no other way to resist nanites than to shoot randomly at the ground, and that migh slow them down a few seconds. Earth, EMPing the nanites would also result in the destruction of all weapons and other technology in the area, and as such won't be done to an army. Also a torpedo with a payload of one litre of nanites should be able to disable lifesupport within minutes, asuming a suitable warhead is constructed. Ross, would it be ok if I asumed control of the distribution of all non-weaponized, non-standard technological equipment?
  16. Earth, are you stupid or just ignorant? A nanite is about the same size as a human blood cell, they can simply walk between the armour and the clothes, or even through the weave in the armour itself.
  17. Earth, a few million of them could eat an army in less than an hour. They are also (most likely) the second best option for creating objects from scratch... actually, they're the only option for that other than fabricators. So actually, the only field they can't cover is science. Added to that, I can do whatever the heck I want with my tech points, regardless of what you think, and if you (god forbid) become captain, then I'll just simply withold any technology I upgrade or create from you. Because guess what, I can do that and you can't do nothing about it.
  18. Technically, they can fix just about anything, seing how they can relocate particles with better precission than any other piece of equipment as well as working only on the damage, thus reduce cost, they can even work on a larger area at any given time, thus save time as well. Then there's the fact that they can get almost anywhere, including but not limited to inside life support computers and human hearts and brains.
  19. Machine god = creator of all machines = humanity. Humanity is overrated, praise be to humanity. Anyways, can someone else tell Earth that nanites aren't as [cabbage]ty as he thinks? It's really annoying how he flames about them whenever they're used.
  20. Ross, this way I keep the benefit of being human, also my brain can't be erased with an EMP.
  21. Actually, the Windows key (actual name) is used in a very few key combinations, I think Windows+F turns on projector screens, just like fn+f4.
  22. 4 2. You might as well remove Monty, Lee and Stork, they don't even want the role. Also, remove Nero. For the record, I'm likely to slowly turn into a cyborg over the next few sessions. I'll just get a few more nanites then I'll make them reinforce my skeleton with titanium. Then my muscles will be in turn, starting with the larger groups and my heart last. After that my skin and last I will begin replacing my organs and have my blood replaced by lifesupport fluid and nanites. That should strenghten my brain and as a result allow me to do my tasks faster.
  23. Lee, that rules out everyone on this entire ship except Jeremiah and Monty.
  24. Paint.NET has the move options like that, they are however equally simple to access, the white cursor is move selection and the black cursor is move pixels.
  25. That session was not recorded, it was started when we were on page 78.
