Well I did enjoy beans... until I had to change bed twice.

My guts can take anything but beans... long story short, I used to like them but after an incident on a school trip I gag everytime I see something even resebling beans. Also I tend to chew pine needles from time to time, they taste kind of bitter but work as mild painkillers.

You know that pine needles are rich in vitamin-C. They also can be brewed into tea.

Lol, now you begin trusting the effect of cold winters? How 'bout moving to Lofoten, very few people, very cold winters, lots of boats and lots of fish. And the specialization there is dried fish, so the food will stay edible. Perfect?

Actually Norway can be quite hot at summer, though sub-zero (celsius) grades last through the vinter (it somethimes get down to -30 degrees). Anyways, other than some slight abnormalities in my blood the only thing that's wrong with me is in my mind (as in personality).

My only imperfections lie in my blood and mind... and some on my nose and forehead. I'm not saying I'm inperfect, I'm saying my body and knowledge is closed to being it. The only faults my body have are slightly elevated cholesterol and little iron. My mind however is as you know; [bleep]ed up.

Ye Olde Hegemony
The only post medieval thing I used were valves, which are part of my research on pneumatic and steam power. The Romans also had public showers. And the Egyptians had soap at 1550BC, and the Babylonians before them around 2500BC.

The Zirids promote the advantages of good physical hugiene and begins giving its citiziens free bars of a mixture of lye and fat with the instructions: "Rinse with water, scrub with bar, rinse." Also construction of devices that use the sun to heat water which is sent through a pipe to a valve (from pneumatics/steam research), to a Y-pipe where a similiar input for cold water also enter and into a pipe with an endcap filled with small holes which protudes from the cieling of a small room. The hot water tank is constructed from a large iron vat with aluminum lining inside and can contain large amounts of water while the cold water comes from a natural source. The floor of the small rooms has drains. Note: If you do not get what I just made then you, sir, are an idiot

Ye Olde Hegemony
To put what I feel now (and what I have felt 90% of my life) as a rhyme: [bleep] my luck! Anyways; quarantenes are set up, those that are infectedwith bubonic are put in designated housings in normal cities, divided from the seemingly healthy with a palisade, guards in sparce towers are told to remind anyone that try to cause an uprising due to it that it is merely in place to better the chances for those not infected. While those who have got the septic are told that they will simply not survive but will suffer, they are offered a quick death or banishement.

Actually I've been at two parties, post-graduation party too.

Pirates!
Only actual party I've been to yet was this friend of mine's birthday, he invited the entire class and rented the school's gym. Other than that there's used to be haloween parties but I and two friends have had our own with lots of movies, lots of candy and barely any sleep.

I'm having a party soon... at my cabin... no parents... ~15 people.

Ok. By the way I have a plan which will bring twice the gain. You know that Mars has unstable weather because it lacks a moon? I'm thinking of making the station so large that it gets it's own gravitational field and acts like one.

There I am better of than you. To quote wikipedia (because I'm lazy): "Norway has mandatory military service for men (612 months of training) and voluntary service for women." Meaning those that were dispanded still count, which means ~30-40% of my population have to help defend the country. Edel, I find it disturbing how you, as a sci-fi fan, do not want to help terraform and colonize the Martian surface and orbit.

Dungeonal, that is just so impossible, not only are you annexing countries which would never want to have anything to do with Russia, but you are doing it in the time it would take to annex two of them.

It also contains all the neccessary minerals for production of perfluorocarbons, the most potent known group of greenhouse gasses. There are already plans for new missions, the construction of a large space station above Mars and dumping of large quantities of water are among them. Norway invites all other nations not only to send astronauts, but for full cooperation. As well Norway begins construction of a stunning 45 more shuttles, this will be done over the four next years. The old ships will be upgraded with the latest level (9 years currently) of heat plating.

But still, there are already rats there, they must be marking their claim with pheromones, else there'd be a sort of paradox where there would always come more rats.

I don't think you quite understand what the medieval ages were. They didn't have pristine cruise ships sailing around the Mediterranean crewed by impeccably well dressed and groomed sailors. They had dirty, rusty, ugly wooden ships crammed with crap and crewed by slaves, slave masters, and [bleep]in' pirates. This wasn't exactly the Age of Sanitation. What I meant was, do you really think that there will come even more rats onboard than there already is?
