The Back Room
Except for how if he had anti-fire potions, he would be ready to kill her, something he apparently wasn't since he fled together with the player, only to tell us he was going to.

Heroic isn't quite the right word, he just can't set a target for himself, doesn't mean he won't trample innocent corpses to achieve those others set for him. This quest proves his character similar to a munchkin player rather than a munchkin adventurer. And it also proves that despite appearances, he's got some respect for the player. Additionally it serves as an indicator of his skills. From what we've seen of him from before, he just seemed strong and ruthless, this shows him to be far above 99 in at least defense since he's able to block sustained fire from the QBD with a regular kiteshield.

The Back Room
True, but to be fair the ending was abrupt in a sense that they haven't used since Devious Minds, making it a slight trauma both to us players and all the characters involved. I think JaGEx wanted us to look forward to more, so as to make us want to kill the Queen Black Dragon for closure when we saw how it ended. Also it served another purpose as well; properly introducing us to the Raptor, showing exactly how much of a munchkin he is.

I like it, but they're showing some double standards with how you can buy extra spins for real money.

Who else here was really impressed by Song from the Depths? It wasn't particularly epic, no. But if you pay attention, it really delivers the feels. They did a great job with One piercing Note, making you really feel sister Catherina's death after her character development. But here with Remora... all I could think was "No." Never before have I ever wanted to kill a high-level monster for any other reason than to continue a quest, but her I really wish to avenge her, though it'll be many years until I'm able to do so.

Whatever the [bleep] OECD is supposed to be, I'd rather trust a local, government funded institution whose job is to keep track of numbers than the third party who says Americans are the richest people on Earth.

Sounds like a good average...Only a third of your country not included...oh, and the poorest third...but you know...88,000 Dollars sounds better than 44,000 Dollars. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_average_wage Also not including tax...But you know...You can trust Statistics Norway. Tax was not included for either nation, it was gross salary, not net. As for what you said there, it's massively wrong, agriculture and forestry are among the most prosperous industries, as diary products and baked goods are a big part of our culinary culture and we're a large producer of pulp and timber. EDIT: Oh hey, would you look at that! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norske_Skog

Actually it was like that way before he did anything, there has been discussion about the immigration policy, but nothing about how many refuse integration. Anyways, the annual average salary in Norway was actually $88,000 in 2011. Thank you Statistisk Sentralbyrå. http://www.ssb.no/lonnansatt_en/

You compare the TOTAL GDP(PPP)? How's that good for anything? If you want a number that says something about the public rather than the state as a whole, shouldn't you look at GDP(PPP) per capita? You know where we have the 8th highest in the world. Or you could look at the average annual gross salary: Norway: $82,908. UK: $66,552. USA: $47,390.

Sadly the percentage of the population with foreign origin is a matter that both the press and politicians are avoiding. And I find those numbers of yours hard to believe unless your tycoons and celebrities really have that much to say on the avarage. A look at the common Norwegian household compared to the British or American would get anyone else to do so as well.

You know why that scale is highly misleading? Because it doesn't take wages into considderation. Norway has some of, if not the, highest wages in the world. Thus the reason why no one comes to Norway for their shopping. Work immiggration however is high. To take one of the nations on that list of yours; Polish doctors and similarly high educates people often come here to Norway, taking jobs such as strawberry pickers (no really, this is a very common occupation for highly educated Poles) and still earn many times what they earned in Poland. And people don't only come from poor nations, a lot of Swedes take jobs in Norway, driving a long way just to benefit from the higher wages, similarly to how a lot of us Norwegians go to Sweden to do our shopping cheaply.

I was about to tell you not to slam mcDonalds, but then I remembered that it is only here in Scandinavia that they use proper, local meat and not that slop you have to settle for.

I wouldn't call it stopping, I was just too busy yelling out profanities directed towards the guy whose idea it was to add a hotkey that restarts your computer without any warning to something that pops up in an instant and functions without any delay.

The Back Room
Well, lack of reasoning skills would've explained me performing a hulksmash on the keyboard twice and slamming the screen down, but not hulksmashing the computer again 30 seconds later.

That wasn't a serious answer to a question I thought you asked, it was just a sarcastic way of pointing out the blatantly obvious.

Actually we have pretty good laptops, which technically belong to us after we've paid the second lease, though they're not officially ours until we've had them for two full school years. What happened was the [bleep]ing windows update warning having W as a hotkey, and triggering while I played an emulator. Luckily the screen was the only thing that broke, and since this is the first time I've broken mine, the replacement is free. Yes, I do have anger issues, why do you ask?

Ok... So I may just have hulksmashed my school computer to kingdome come...

Yeah, I didn't actually burn my mouth, just heard the sugar and spit sizzle. Also I should probably take a break and find something to eat, I've been re-watching Avatar - The Last Airbender for 7 hours straight now, and additionally I only now realized that the fact that I had my window wide open caused my legs to freeze to the point of having no sense of feeling left at all. EDIT: Wait, forgot the fact that the episodes are 24 minutes each, not 20, so make that 8 and a half hour.

That "oh shit" feeling when you're eating something hot, and you can hear the sound of something boiling and searing inside your mouth. I guess microwaving a brownie wasn't the greatest idea I've ever had.
